The current gloves are fine, I don't know why it's becoming such a big ing issue. The reality of it is, the rules needs to be changed not the gloves. Eye pokes do not happen that often! People are just up in arms about it because of Bisping's detached retina, Belcher bloody eye and the idiot that got his fight stopped by saying the wrong thing. Other than that, the eye pokes have never resulted in any game changing incidents. Rule changes that need to go in effectYou are given a duration of time to recover from an eye poke as you are a low blow, this is not boxing and they need to have different rules. Point deduction based on the reasoning: If Jon Jones has his fingers pointing out and is coming forward, or his shoves open fingers out to defend like he always does and catches someone in the eye, that should be a point deduction for being careless. If a genuine scramble or flurry of BS happens and someone gets caught, you give them a warning, if it happens again deduct a point.

I agree with you..........but why not just use the Pride glove style?

Looks more like a winter glove, lets be honest. And because of that, I think it could potentially inhibit grappling and submissions.
