Haters gonna Hate, but you're right... Someone like Batista would've been better than Tito. Then again, we would never stop hearing this one, "TNA grabs yet another another WWE Reject? Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! I'm done with TNA, for good, Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! The clock is ticking for the sinking Titanic! TNA sucks!" Oh wait a minute... what am I talking about... we NEVER stop hearing this. ^ No matter what TNA tries to attempt, even when they let the fans decide the matches... at the end of the day, the results are always gonna be the same... Waaaaaaaaaaaaaah!Me? As I'm willing to give anything a fair chance... I'll leave my judgement for this AFTER I see Tito and Rampage go at it on Impact inside the ring, it's only fair to give 'em a shot. Actually if you were paying attention to the thread. We were really positive up until ortiz showed up. Plus what will tna gain from this? A few mma fans. SOME of them think wrestling is fake and gay. Oh and maybe if dixie started signing wrestlers that aren't past their prime, then maybe we would give them a chance. I mean it is pretty stupid that she fired a few good wrestlers for one washed up mma guy. And btw no I dont know if she really did this, but I wouldn't be surprised if she did to be honest with you. But much like yours this is just my opinion. You didn't have to bash OUR opinion like most marks do. First off, I just got here, cut me some slack. 2nd, I never said anything about this place. I'm talking about every site I go to check out for updates or spoilers for the Wrestling brands. All I ever hear is complaints. You can disagree with me if you want, I don't care. I'm speaking the truth here. Not completely a full 24 hours in and all the forums are exploding with rants about Tito being the #August1st Warning. Tito hasn't even done anything yet... he just came outta the dark and stood at the entrance way with his arms cross. I'm not a TNA mark. I hate TNA for how pathetic they've been lately with their stories and their recent actions in order to save money to afford these... "newcommers"; but as I said before, it's the actual wrestling that keeps my television screen glued onto Spike every Thursday. Without the great wrestling (at times)... I feel like I'm watching yet another episode of, As the World (?) Entertainment Turns.

The first time a Bellator fighter can't make a televised fight because of a "wrestling-related injury", I bet they pull the plug on this.

This is going to suck something heavy. How could it turn out good? They signed King Mo and he hasn't been seen in what seems like a year. Rampage isn't even wearing a suit. I don't see them doing anything but a few fake punches and promos. If TNA is getting paid money to give these guys a spot on the roster then thats fine. Still I'm done with TNA. This has been 2 huge announcements that turned out to be major busts. The first 45 mins of impact last night sucked. The Champions match was just a bunch of spots. It was entertaining but just felt like a train wreck. Austin Aries vs. Aj Styles was great though. When they announced the firing stip I thought okay they are listening and are getting rid of garrett. That gave me hopes that the new guy was someone they did a quick signing to make up for the bust of rampage. Had I watched Bellator the night prior I'd have probably not even tuned in because I'd have known it was tito.

Wow, no TNA marks popping up in here and saying this was a great decision and will help gain followers in the process of moving forward yet? I'm impressed. Tito Ortiz is an established athlete with an established fan base. UFC is EXTREMELY popular. We have seen UFC fighters transition to pro wrestling. The reason I am not defending it is simply that TNA could use guys like Morrison, Benjamin or other established WRESTLING names and I have to believe someone like Tito is costing them some big dollars.

There's absolutely no way that someone like Holly would have been worse. As the very least, whichever WRESTLER they brought in could've gone through some sort of repackaging or had some sort of actual effect on TNA's landscape. This thing with Tito is about as transparent as can be. It has nothing to do with TNA. Ain't no coincidence that Tito turns up just mere days after his Bellator fight with 'Page gets announced. TNA seems to never be able to not go down this road. They were doing this crap in 04 and 05 with Baseball players feuding with talent. Ugh.

At this point, Dixie needs to just start running the company in a bathing suit. All the time. And let some softcore segments take place. Then there needs to be random explosions around the ring and varying intervals during the show...
You know, since it's on the guys' network?
Six months ago, TNA was leaps and bounds better than WWE's product? Now they're both terrible, with TNA doing a swan dive to get back below the 'E.

The reason I am not defending it is simply that TNA could use guys like Morrison, Benjamin or other established WRESTLING names and I have to believe someone like Tito is costing them some big dollars. I'd bet that like King Mo and Rampage, this is a joint deal between Spike, Bellator, and TNA - so while TNA obviously is paying some portion of this (and I also would've preferred the reveal be a wrestler they can use), it wouldn't be 100% on their books. Ugh. Does anyone else think maybe this was a condition of the contract between TNA and Spike TV? TNA resigns with Spike last year, and shortly after bring in King Mo. Now we have Rampage and Tito. Rampage and Tito are fighting in Bellator, so are they now going to build up to a real fight by feuding on a pro wrestling show? It just doesn't make any sense.

TNA are stuck with no choice but to help Spike promote Bellator.

If I wanted to watch MMA, I'd watch MMA.
But I don't so I don't.
TNA wastes money they don't have to waste - I don't get it. At least we're not seeing Jersey Shore people anymore, but even the WWE got in on that crap.

TNA hasn't lost any money on Mo, Rampage, or Tito. All are paid by Viacom/Spike.

At this rate, TNA will be out of business in a year. Just when you think they ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) ed up enough the last couple months, They go and bring another no name in and waste money on. Here i was thinking it was going to be a big wrestling star but instead i said "Who the hell is this?". I cant believe this is the same company that was trying to compete with WWE a couple years ago by pretty much throwing out their 6 sided ring, Brought in Hogan and started being a carbon copy of WWE, Since that didnt work, They are going to try the MMA market now. It blows my mind how much of a joke this company has turned into the last couple months. Release half of their WRESTLERS and replacing them with MMA hasbeens.
