Comments are welcome! Although I am not expecting many comments. When someone just ties two ring ropes to make an ultimate X ring gets 15 pages of praise I think this will barely make one page. Perhaps there ARE many younger fans here who have no idea what the Bash at the Beach PPV was. It seems like if you don't do a cage or an arena or a ring, no one has any clue as to what you are doing. No offense to the ultimate X people at all mind you. Okay, you're not really one to talk. You're not even making your own customs so how bout you actually make something before you start judging everyone else's customs? You think because it's just "two ring ropes tied together" doesn't make it a custom? As far as I'm concerned your "work" shouldn't even be allowed to be posted. You're not supposed to post other people's work and that's all you're doing. |

Point is, if you didn't make it... then it isn't your custom. I have customs made for me of ideas I have. Doesn't mean it's my work.

Well people post their new gets or new pickups at the Mattel boards or the Jakks boards. Where would you like me to post my new custom projects that I finance?
Since when does the definition of custom ONLY relate to who puts it together? I feel that I am financing them and designing them then I am doing the custom as well since they would not exist without me.
I could have lied from the beginning and said it was all my work. Afterall my artist speaks only Spanish and doesn't visit these boards. None of you would have known the difference but because I was honest you are trying to put restrictions on what I can post or not post. It is not a simple question you are asking. It is a condemnation.
I mean it is like saying Trump Tower doesn't really belong to Donald Trump because he didn't make it. He had someone customize and build it to his designs for him and thus the name Trump shouldn't be on there. That is ridiculous.

I do like to look at the stuff your artist makes, however, and hope that you continue to post. But I have been upfront that I pay someone to do it. I have never taken full credit. However there are no blueprints. The guy is SO good I show him a pic, tell him what I want and he does it. These works are not as complicated as a building design. I should know. My father studied personally with Frank Lloyd Wright. You know what I post that is akin to blueprints though? Usually the first or second pic. He just copies that. So in this case it was Hulk Hogan at Bash at the Beach 1996 and the Kevin Nash Scott Hall photo. That was it. I then also said to add in a chair and some life buoys etc. |
