I remember seeing them at WalMart for no reason for $1 or 2 and bought the whole series 3 set with multiple Jeff's and Matt's. I still have them, they are pretty cool!

Those customs are awesome considering the relatively few parts available and the size of the figures! You can get pretty much all of them for under $10 each on eBay. A bunch of them you can get for under $5 shipped. The only ones that will set you back a good bit of money are Piper and Slaughter. Piper sells for about $20ish. Slaughter regularly sells for over $30, even loose. Slaughter goes that high because Hasbro didn't make Sgt. Slaughter in the 25th Anniversary GI Joe line, so the Joe collectors want this one too because he fits in with that line. What's the deal with the Big Show and Mark Henry figures that I see every now and then? They weren't officially released, were they? Yes. I posted the checklist earlier in the thread. Henry was series 7, Big Show was series 8. Thanks, they're fun to work on, I guess because you don't see a lot of build n brawl customs.

Yeah, there was one guy who was making some great ones back when they were still releasing them, I remember he had a Mankind, attitude Kane, attitude Undertaker. But it's so rare to see anyone doing them. Very cool.

I'm thinking of picking up a few of these too. I was wondering, which ring is best to display them in? The ring that comes with the figures looks too small.
Would the Hasbro ring be too big?

The Hasbro ring is great for these figures.

I had series one through four complete.
They were cool at first but i quickly realized that that they weren't worth collecting.

The Hasbro ring and WCW Galoob ring are okay for them, but the best ring is the WWE Havoc Unleashed one. I'm guessing it's pretty much impossible to find now though, as it was a discount store ring and probably hasn't held up well to be sold on eBay -- the ring mat was cardboard! The kind of thing people would just throw out. www.wrestlecrap.com/sbt/worst-wrestling-ring-ever/

I remember how pissed I was when I saw that Jakks abandoned this series, we were supposed to get Eddie Guerrero, R-Truth, Bourne, Face Painted Jeff Hardy, Orton with Tattoos, and some other good ones, but just filled the last two sets with Re-Releases, these were the bomb diggity. I used the ring that came in the Ruthless Aggression Hell in a Cell because it was too small for the regular Jakks, and just a bit too big for the BnB, but I didn't care, the ring that you could build with the BnB was too small for them anyway. Man, the Jakks Board takes me way back.

I loved these little guys. Too bad I never got fully into collecting them but I do have Razor, Piper and Hart.

I loved collecting those figures. Had the first eight sets completed, and like an idiot sold off the figures. This was around the time Jakks' license was coming to an end and they began slacking on everything. Lineups for series 9 and 10 were great from what I remember, then we ended up getting 'Taker, Cena and Mysterio plain repaints with no detail for series 9. I'm still so mad at myself for getting rid of them looking back, lol. I still have the rings and all of that good stuff. Maybe one day I'll restart the collection.
