Copied from another forum. I know a few guys on here already visit them but for anyone who doesn't. Interview with Bluefin at NYCC.
Russ over at Gundam Planet just got to interview Bluefin and GODDAMN:
-Ninja Turtles will be web exclusives in Japan as they are aimed at the american market. The 80's cartoon is THE most popular version of the character in either market though so it's beneficial to both parties. Plan is to construct them with diecast parts. They're currently exploring what other characters from that series to make in this line, taking suggestions.
- Advanced Color reissues of SS3 Goku & Perfect Cell ARE happening! Sometime next year. Both will web exclusives in Japan. On the topic of the recolors though they mentioned that while yes Vegeta & Trunks are getting those newly colored reissues, they are also getting BRAND NEW SCULPTS! As is entirely new figures of each of them will be produced later next year in addition to the recolors. These new sculpt figures will be retail releases in Japan!
- DBZ sales in the US are double the Japanese sales which is what keeps compelling these releases and recolors.
So happy to hear about the re-releases. This means I won't have to shell out any major cash for SS3 Goku and Cell. Hopefully that new Vegeta sculpt is alluding to a Majin Vegeta.

Called it on the rereleases... Be patient people, you will always get a scond shot at these figures! I do believe that for the more popular characters, but for someone like Krillin it's going to be a long wait. I wouldn't image that he's a priority, even as a carbon copy re-release.

It may be 2018...2019... But it will happen.

Lol, I look at it like I saved $40, since he usually goes for $120. And you are right, he's essential if you have Android 18. Now, it's the long wait for Perfect Cell!

So apparently Amazon decided to be dicks and not process my order for a whole week because I chose the free shipping option and someone else got my Frieza. Even though there was still plenty left when I ordered. Great. Well I guess i'm not getting Frieza lol. Not paying 200+
On a positive note, I got my Ultimate Gohan today. Will post pics later if anyone wants to see.

Ultimate Gohan is nothing special, the only thing that bothers me is that his face skin tone doesn't match with his body. -.-

Pretty much I wouldn't mind having a bright green Cell. Since SS3 Goku and Cell are being re-issued, that leaves them both out for next year's SDCC exclusive.

Received Vegetto the other day off amazon for about £37, love the interchangeable folded arms. Also very happy to hear SS3 Goku will be available next year, I may have to get that to go with my Goku collection.

Hey guys! nerdycollectibles here to show you a picture of my newest Figma addition, Motoko Kusanagi! Her attire is based on Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. I’m a big fan of the series. I hope there are plans to release the other guys. I wish the gun came with a firing round, but she is a solid figure! I just received Kirito and Asuna, but have decided to not open them up yet. I’ll leave them MOC for a while longer.
I also wanted to show off my Figuarts Sailor Moon display. I got Jupiter in last week to complete the originals. Anyone else a fan of the Sailor Scouts? I have more imports and I think it would be cool to expand this thread into an all anime/imports figure thread. If not, I think the next logical place to show off anime collections is in the anime thread in the entertainment section. Thoughts or rulings?

I just realized I post way too much in here haha..but anyways I'm so glad I was patient because I just won an auction on eBay for both Saiyan saga Vegeta and Final Form Frieza for a total of $177.50 + $6.35 shipping. To think I almost paid that for just one of those. If you were more patient you would have saved more money. Frieza and Goku will be released in Japan in 2 weeks and in the U.S. in about 4 weeks for $40 each.

That Vegeta is awesome though! I've got to wait it out with all the collections I have! I wanted to pull the trigger on those NYCC pre-releases, but like Darkhawk said, $40 eventually.

The ones being released in Japan in 2 weeks are Super Saiyan God Goku and Golden Frieza from the new movie. I already have those pre-ordered from MHToyshop.

Yup I can't believe people are listing the early release Goku and Frieza on eBay as NYCC exclusive when we're getting them here in the US in a month for retail. I think Darkhawk confused my post as me saying I paid that much for those new figures no way lol.

You did good on the figures you got. Was it an auction or "buy it now"? I bit the bullet and bought Krillin and Son Goku for $160. Although it's not the SDCC exclusive, I'm thrilled to have him and Krillin now!

Although it's not the SDCC exclusive, I'm thrilled to have him and Krillin now! It was auction style. It was listed as SH Figuarts Dragonball Z Loose Lot. Seller was jmilton1886. Here's pictures of the two. True. My first post was kind of a mess but I tried to fix it haha. I think you did great on those two. I wish I would have pulled the trigger on Krillin a few months ago when he was going for $70-$80 but oh well he's one i'll go back for later once I have spare cash. I don't have regular Goku yet just the SDCC and Super Saiyan but I heard the new SSGSS Goku comes with a regular head so i'm gonna pop one of those on to my extra Ultimate Gohan.
