If he's ready give him a spot, the crowd reaction would be worth it.

Ok... Jake still looks like 30 pounds of crapin a 10 pound bag. I'm glad you're feeling better Snake but in a word; no.
The wrestling business got you in this mess. Just retire for good and have a BBQ.
I'm sure Vince will be all over this but he can't go more than 5 minutes in the rumble without being some type of insurance risk that would cost the wrestling industry millions of dollars and from an entertainment standpoint if he's going to come in, DDT a youngster or two and get tossed, no thanks. Give the spot to someone who will entertain. There was nothing worse then a year or so ago when Jimmy Snuka came into the ring, had no clue who he was, craphis pants and then got tossed out. It was the most anticlimactic thing I've ever seen.

I'm all for it! One of my favorite parts of the Rumble each year is seeing who shows as a surprise.

70% of the crowd will go "Daddy, Who's that old man?"

70% of the crowd will go "Daddy, Who's that old man?" And then the fathers can tell their kids about how Jake was one of the best wrestlers to ever step foot in the ring. He may have not done any flashy moves but his timing and psychology was better than anyone I've ever seen.

I seem to remember most of the "old guys" during the lead up to Raw 1000 getting pretty good reactions.

Yeah give it to him, why not? Think it would be pretty cool to see him in the Rumble.

I'd bring up the crowd reaction but hey look at the Godfather.

Yeah give it to him, why not? Think it would be pretty cool to see him in the Rumble. It's time for another Royal Rumble with the ultimate prize on the line...the WWE Championship. If that means he shouldn't be in it, so be it. Either way, they need the title on the line.

I'd love to see Jake get a spot in the Rumble just for fun. Comes in, throws a few kicks and punches and then hits a DDT on someone like Ryback. I think Nash in 2011 was probably one of my favorite Rumble moments in recent memory. So nostalgia can go a long way. The Rumble is a fun time to bring back a couple Legends and get them in the match for a few minutes. So why not one of the greats.

Here's how I'd book it. Have Heath Slater and Santino in the ring, Santino pulls out the Cobra and hits Slater with it. Then Jakes music hits, he comes out with Damien, has a standoff with Santino, only for Santino to get scared and jump over the rope eliminating himself. Then bam a DDT on Slater, then a heel throws him over for heat.
Another dream scenario for me is to actually have DDP and Jake return, and work each other just for a few minutes, only to double clotheline each other over or something. That would also be great since DDP is the one who helped him get back to where he's at now

Also, lets not forget that not everyone in the Rumble has to put on an amazing performance. If that were the case, the Rumble would go on for hours. I would say around half of the participants in the Rumble generally have no business being anywhere near the title picture, but that's what's so great about the Rumble. The idea that anyone could shock the world and get s title shot.
