Celebrity-gossip website TMZ has picked up the story of Jake "The Snake" Roberts turning his life around through the help of fellow pro wrestler Diamond Dallas Page, and his "DDPYoga" workout regimen. The story notes that Roberts has lost 70 pounds in nine months, and is looking to get back into the ring at the ripe-old-age of 58. If you're interested, you can click here to view awesome before & after photos of Jake. Wow! DDP mentions that Roberts started the program doing one or two sessions a day and eating a more clean, healthy diet. He talks about how Roberts not only lost the impressive amount of weight, but the program has also helped him with his infamous drug and alcohol issues. Another interesting note stemming from the TMZ article is that Roberts apparently has one unfulfilled goal, which is to compete in one more Royal Rumble match in WWE. Roberts made a surprise return at the Royal Rumble match in 1997, his final official "run" with the company outside of a few one-time-only returns here and there. Roberts spoke about his Royal Rumble goal to TMZ. "I will never give up ... I want a life again and I am pursuing that. The Rumble will define it." looking at that pic, DDP is a life saver, about Jake in the rumble, if he looks like that and can give a good 4/5 minutes, why the hell not

I say let him have the spot, it'd be better than Bo Dallas last year...

I hope they let him. I'd bring up the crowd reaction but hey look at the Godfather.

This should be the song they use when they hype up his Rumble return.

Under any other circumstances, my love for his mastery of the game's psychology & my desire to preserve that would force my hand against such a decision, but if this is what inspires him & WWE to bring him in as a producer to help mold young wrestlers into their desired characters, & gives him a valid purpose, I will be shouting at my TV screen "LET'S GO ROBERTS! YOU NEVER LOST IT! JUST MISPLACED IT! VIPER WHO!? VIPER WHO!?" come January.
I'm 110% behind this, because I know at this point, nothing any young gun would dare try to him is going to kill that wonderful SOB we all love & admire.
Bring it home Jake... Bring it home...

This was all before his relapse. I hope he can get back into good spirits and actually be in the Rumble!

This was all before his relapse. I hope he can get back into good spirits and actually be in the Rumble! When was his last relapse? I saw a yahoo headline on Sunday that said "Jake Roberts Implodes" but last night I watched him do an interview for a podcast not even two weeks ago and he said his last relapse was really only two drinks but he considers it a failure because he wants to be 100% clean. He also mentioned that he wants to start a social media campaign to get him in the rumble. He said he's about 70% right now, but joked that they couldn't handle him at 50%. He also kinda hinted that he would like to work backstage for WWE and kind of mentor guys to help them find that little something extra to make their characters click.
