remakes that are great
The Thing(1982) The Crazies Dawn Of The Dead When A Stranger Calls Nightmare on Elm Street Texas Chainsaw massacre 2003 The Departed Heat Red Dragon
Im sure Im forgetting something good.....
also the remake of The Longest Yard hasn't got a patch on the original with Reynolds etc.Khali being the dangerous guy they get from isolation was total sh*t to the guy in the original.plus Austin being a guard was totally insane miscasting.Goldberg should've been a guard and Austin an inmate.

I really enjoyed the Karate Kid remake with Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan. My only gripe is that Smith and the other kids were so young. I agree, it's a great movie (I prefer it to the original) also...another good remake is The Longest Yard

I suppose Amazing Spider Man & Incredible Hulk ARE remakes.I just cant get my head around thinking of them as such.....
no doubting TIH is 10 times better than whatever the f*ck Lee was trying to do in 2003.

The Thing Incredible Hulk Star Trek Scarface Batman Begins Dawn of the Dead Amazing Spider Man Punisher 04
Comic ones are hard to really classify but I guess I'll just include them anyways

Amazing Spiderman isn't really a remake, it's a reboot. It's a tricky one though as it tells his origins again.
Either way I hated it. Apart from Emma Stone as Gwen, it was excruciating to watch.

Invasion of the Body Snatcher from the 70s is definately a great remake.....the ending is an absolute killer.
