I'm a huge Jackass fan, but this is probably my least favourite bit they do.
The trailer was funny but I'm not sure I'll be able to handle an entire film.

I like the skit in small doses.... the first time I saw old man balls, I stopped breathing I was laughing so hard..... loved the shoplifting one too, but it gets less funny each time I see it. As for this preview, I love the pageant bit. SOOOO funny

I welcome this. Whether or not it turns out being good, I enjoyed the trailer, but an Idea like this never dawned on me and I fully support them trying to find new ways to let us further enjoy something were familiar with.
The premise is simple, Borat-style movie with a character were already familiar with. Fair enough. I believe it'll be worth a watch.

I think the only person who really "gets" the Bad Grandpa bits is Johnny Knoxville. I'm with the guy who said every time you see it, it's less funny. Now the skits just go on for way too long and generally aren't funny. I usually fast forward them if I can. I realize Jackass 4 isn't really possible with Ryan Dunn's death, Steve O getting clean, Preston's weight being out of control and everyone being older.. But this isn't the solution. Surely a "new generation of Jackass" would be more successful than a 90 minute movie about a bit that gets boring and tired after about 3 minutes. |

If it were just "Bad Grandpa gets side tracked on the way to get his medication and ends up across the Country" -- I don't think it'd work. But the funniest parts of the trailer were with the kid and that interaction. This is honestly a funnier trailer than Borat or any of those have. It may be the single funniest trailer I've seen. Granted I'm not an ENORMOUS Jackass fan either. I certainly haven't seen all the episodes, so I'm probably not as tired of the character as some may be. But I think this will be a surprising hit. |

I don't go in too much for the Jackass stuff. I enjoy it when I see it, but I don't go out of my way to watch it. With that said, I've always enjoyed this bit. I love watching people's reactions to Knoxville when he does this. I'll definitely check this out.

Never thought this character had the strength for a full movie. However, it looks like it may have some laughs in it. I worry they've shown us the best bits.

Love jackass but I agree these are usually the worst segments. Trailer was good, but I think that's just clever marketing. It works for a 2-3 minute skit and not a movie.
Also that ending in the beauty pageant is straight out of Little Miss Sunshine!
