I see it being an inferno match concept that can only end in pinfall or submission.

This Summerslam card is literally the best of the year, epic.

I'm sorry, but I refuse to condone another Inferno Match. It's too dangerous. I love the idea suggested earlier about the match being contested under traditional rules, but with flames surround the ring as to nullify any interference attempts.
To conclude, this is actually quite the interesting rivalry even though it's still in it's infancy.
I am immensely hopeful WWE doesn't screw this up royal.

Would you want someone to mimic Mick Foley's bumps off the Cell would you? True fandom means you fear for their safety. If they can pull it off safely, I can't really argue against, but I won't be happy watching it. Amazed, but not happy.

If they can pull it off safely, I can't really argue against, but I won't be happy watching it. Amazed, but not happy. Foley's Hell in a Cell bumps were actually fairly safe bumps. The one through the announce table, while it looked spectacular, was a pretty safe bump with the table breaking his fall. If you've watched a lot of stuntmen fall, you'll notice the way Foley hit at least tried to mimic that. The one into the ring was pretty rough because of how he landed but he wasn't planning on taking a huge bump on that one so it's kind of to be expected. Maybe I've become desensitized by truly horrible violence.. I say that Nick Mondo's bump off the roof at Tournament of Death 2 is the bump that no one will ever "top" and live to tell about it. The height was unbelievable that they both walked away from it. The fact they only had tables to break their fall.. and Zandig broke all the tables. Mondo literally hit nothing but blacktop, pavement and glass. The light tubes made it look spectacular and are surely what caused the puncture wound on Mondo, but even without them there it'd be the bump to end all bumps. It tops any scaffold bumps, cage bumps, etc from sheer height.. and because there was nothing to break his fall really. There's been some Titan Tron bumps that may have been "higher", but it's hard to really give a crap about them when they're landing on a crash pad. I rambled a bit but you're talking to the wrong person about wildly dangerous and "mimicking" spots. I don't want to see anyone mimic spots. I want to see people top spots. I want to be shocked. I want to watch brutality. I'm a fan of violence within wrestling. If I hadn't seen Tournament of Death 1 shortly before Tournament of Death 2, I probably wouldn't still be a wrestling fan. TOD 2 confirmed that CZW was the stuff I needed to be watching. Hardcore wrestling got me into the indies, which got me AWAY from the horrible nonsense WWE was doing at the time which killed my interest in wrestling..

You're the reason the art form goes unappreciated. You are just as bad as the Romans who wanted to see Christians thrown to the lions, & I hope & pray promoters will stop allowing young athletes to torture themselves for your perverse enjoyment. The inferno match is still one of the most dangerous matches you can be involved in & you clearly have no love of the game if you don't fear for their safety.

I guess this answers my question from the SummerSlam thread haha. Wouldn't it be insane if Kane sets Bray on fire and Bray's just standing there laughing maniacally while the crew tries to extinguish it. Sure sounds like him!

Who the are YOU to judge ME? You want to talk crapabout how I have "no love for the game"? Head to a Ring of Honor show in about two months. Head to the gimmick tables. Go find Michael Elgin. Hand him some money and buy "Unbreakable: The Best of Michael Elgin Vol. 2". You can see how little "love I have for the game" with my professional editing on that. You know why I learned to edit video? You know why I learned AN ENTIRE ING CRAFT? Because that was how I seen my way into the wrestling business. To edit video, because it's something that not everyone can do and do well.

I don't really get the logic of them having a Ring of Fire match yet... Seems like that'd be a rematch after Wyatt's family interfere in the first match. But it should be interesting. Who the are YOU to judge ME? He's the guy who doesn't want wrestlers to use cheese graters and hacksaws on each other. So yeah, he actually is in a position to judge you.

Because I clearly have more concern for the safety of the talent & the preservation of the genre's artistry. There is virtually no art to the "Ultra-Violent" style, with the exception of the top 3% of it's specialists. You may have a passion, but your tastes are flawed. I apologize for my reaction when I should have responded.

Now maybe I enjoy typical feud progression buy shouldn't the specialty match be saved for the end of the feud when all other options are used and they need something intense to end it? Unless it gets crazier from here, it's starting a bit odd.
