Fireworks, explosions, music...you know. Sh*t.
Alecia Matthews: Welcome everyone to Battleground. I am Alecia Matthews, and I am here with my partner, Samael Ahriman and we are here to bring you all of tonights action.
Samael Ahriman: You bet. This show is chock full of action. There are many matches on this card, but every single one has huge ramifications. We have an all out war going on between Trace Demon and our lovely CEO Xavier. And this show is going to put an end to this battle...or make it worse. Regardless, this show is going to determine who is the one with the power. Every single match has people from opposing sides of this war, with some of them directly affecting the Battleground match itself.
Alecia Matthews: Exactly. Some of the matches later on in the show...the winners will determine who gets an advantage in the Battleground War Games match. For every win by a certain team, they gain a man advantage in what will be a sadistic, insane War Games match.
Samael Ahriman: Yep. But you cannot discount the main event of the night. Scarlett Quinn will be in her first defense of her world title against the most unlikely of opponents, Shawn Malakai. The point has been made by many people that regardless of who wins the Battleground, neither Trace nor Xavier will have full control of the WFWF without having the champion on their side. Scarlett is for Trace. Malakai is for Xavier. Winner takes all.
Alecia Matthews: This is going to be one hell of a ride.
Samael Ahriman: And we are not waiting to get this ride started. We now open the show by sending it backstage to Daniel Knight who’s here with an interview for us, Daniel?
Backstage, Daniel Knight holds a microphone outside a door. He seems nervous, shifting around on his feet often. Upon closer inspection, we see there is a gold star on the door and the word ‘Garrett’ on the star.
Daniel Knight: Well I was supposed to have an interview but Jayson Garrett still has not left his locker room and I’m not...
He’s cut off by the door opening, out walks Garrett.
Daniel Knight: Mr. Garrett, (Knight gulps as Jayson turns and stares at him) a quick word about your match?
Garrett rolls his eyes.
Jayson Garrett: You wanna know what I think about my match? Here’s what I think, I think that the best wrestler that these people has ever seen is about to enter the ring and make his debut, and no, I’m not talking about Beau Bowens, I’m talking about me, yours truly, the Golden Boy, Jayson Garrett. When I step out of that curtain, 20,000 people will be booing me because they can’t accept the future, they refuse change. It’s just too bad that they don’t get to decide what’s going to be the future because I am the future. When I win this match and when I win the National Championship, they will still be booing, and still be mindless drones, cheering those that give them comfort. I don’t give anyone comfort, I’m sure you’re not comfortable Daniel.
Garrett pats him on the head.
Jayson Garrett: And that’s good. The audience has a comfort zone, on YouTube, on Twitter, on FaceBook, where they can watch, and talk about their favorite things of the past, but when I become the best wrestler in the world, they will be forced to talk about me, forced to watch my highlights, forced to listen to me because I’m that good. Every single person here probably talks about the 80s and 90s, by the looks of them, some of them still have closets from those decades, and that’s where they want to stay, and that’s where the things that they remember fondly of are, but to every person, it’s 2013, time to wake up, smell the roses, and look into the future, and I’m giving you a glimpse tonight of it, because my name is Jayson Garrett, and I am the future.
He then turns, and walks down the hallway heading toward the curtains as Daniel flips it back to the commentary booth.
Samael Ahriman: Big words from Garrett. Gotta wonder if he can back it up.
Alecia Matthews: Well his match is beginning now so, we will not have to wait long to find out what is up with this guy.
Christa Adina: The opening contest is a Proving Ground match scheduled for one fall where the winner will be crowned the number one contender to the WFWF National Championship.
"You Wear a Crown But You're No King" hits the PA system followed by the 6 foot 3 Texan superstar walking out the black curtain. Beau walks onto the steel stage, taken a sudden pause while he looks out at all the people at attendance. Trying to examine everyone's reaction towards him. After showing some interest in the fans opinions for a few seconds Bowens proceeds to make his way down the steel ramp. Trying to stretch his arm muscles while the cameras follow him into the ring. Once Beau is in the squared circle he walks to the nearest turnbuckle and he takes a seat on the second turnbuckle while he waits for his opponent to come out.
Christa Adina: Introducing first, hailing from Dallas, Texas. He weighs in at 201 pounds; Beau Bowens!
Alecia Matthews: Bowens is a newcomer here to the WFWF looking to make a name for himself.
Samael Ahriman: It's a big stage to debut on, that's for sure.
"Don't Stop" begins to play and Jayson bursts out of the curtain at the start of the lyrics with his hands up. He will point at a sign or two with a favorable message toward him until he approaches the ringside area where he greets the famous celebrity he gave tickets to and says hello to them for a bit before hopping into the ring on the four turnbuckles screaming "I am Golden" to the fans.
Christa Adina: Next, from Sacramento, California, weighing in at 245 pounds, he is "The Golden Boy" Jayson Garrett!
Alecia Matthews: Garrett, also making his debut here tonight on the big stage.
Samael Ahriman: I never understand why parents try to spell their children's names uniquely like that. I mean, it's J-A-S-O-N. Why throw a Y in there randomly?
"The Last Fight" begins and he walks slowly to the ring, looking at the crowd with a bit of hate in his eyes. When he reaches the ring, he simply rolls under the ropes, gets on one knee, and mumbles a cuss word under his breath. Carter stands up , walks to the turnbuckle and sits on the top of it.
Christa Adina: And last, from Los Angeles, California, weighing in at 223 pounds, he is Andrew Carter!
Alecia Matthews: The only competitor with experience in this match, Carter has to be considered the favorite here. The stakes are high as the winner gets a National Championship opportunity.
Samael Ahriman: Let's see who can handle the spotlight.
The bell sounds and Bowens immediately goes at Carter, punching him into a corner, but Carter fights back, using some boxing combos to fluster Beau. Garrett decides to enter the fray and clubs Carter into the back before kicking him. Bowens is now recovered and gives him a chop sending him into the far corner. Carter attempts to grab him only to get a chop of his own. Beau then runs at Jayson, but misses a splash, however Bowens springs up off the second rope and hits him with a crossbody for the first cover.
One
Two
Alecia Matthews: And the action has picked up immediately!
Kickout, only two, next he tries a splash on Carter, no one home, and then gets dropkicked out of the ring by Andrew as he tries to springboard onto him drawing oohs from the crowd that turned quickly into boos. Carter turns his attention to Garrett, who’s slumped in a corner; he repeatedly stomps his torso before he picks him up and hits a Wasteland, then a standing splash, only 2 on the pin attempt.
Alecia Matthews: A two count on the impressive move by Carter.
Samael Ahriman: We still have plenty of match to go.
Beau gets back in the ring and is greeted with a superkick for two. He then applies the camel clutch and Beau struggles in it for a little, but he musters up strength to crawl to the ropes. He picks up Bowens, looking for the back suplex elbow drop, but Beau doesn’t let him pick him up and counters with a snapmare takedown and attempts a submission. Carter shifts the weight, but only gets a 1 count as Beau reapplies it.
Alecia Matthews: Bowens is locked in pretty well!
Just then Garrett hits a double foot stomp onto Bowens while he still has the hold on. He picks up Beau and drops him with a reverse atomic drop followed by Rolling Thunder to the still downed Carter.
One
Two
Kickout, Garrett pounds the mat and takes a little too much time arguing as Bowens goes for a leaping reverse STO and connects, but Carter drills Bowens with a backstabber, this could do it!
Samael Ahriman: What the description said.
One
Two
KICKOUT!
Alecia Mtathews: I thought Carter had it for sure there!
Samael Ahriman: All these men are taking a beating. Definitely a great match to open up our show for the night.
Frustrated, Carter tries to pin Garrett, but he waited too long and only got a 2-count. Carter then sets up for a back suplex elbow drop on Garrett but Jayson also counters it rolling through then hits a standing dropkick, only for Beau to come off the top rope with a crossbody, 1-2, no, Garrett rolls over onto Beau, 1-2-nope, just 2.
Samael Ahriman: Near falls everywhere, but nobody can seem to quite put it away.
Garrett throws out Beau and then dumps Carter on that same side, then hits the ropes and takes to the air, suicide dive onto Beau! As Garrett writhes in pain with Bowens, Carter comes in and tosses Jayson into the announcer’s table and rolls Bowens in and tries a GTS on Bowens, but Beau elbows him and hits a German suplex, followed by one more, but as he tries a third, Garrett stops him and suplexes Bowens as he holds Carter once, then twice, and one more time! A Sacramento Trio on two men at once! He goes for the cover on Beau.
One
Two
Rope break!
Alecia Matthews: Great ring presence there by Bowens, could make the difference in the match.
Jayson fumes as he walks right into a spear from Carter! Carter goes for a cover, 1-2-kickout thanks to the bottom rope, but Carter sets up for the End of Days, though Bowens turns him around, but receives a cutter for his troubles. Carter then focuses on Bowens looking for the End of Days, but he counters into a Dragon Sleeper. Carter is fading, but he somehow fights out, and rams Bowens into the corner, but runs shoulder first into the steel ringpost. He cries out in pain and Bowens hits a huge Leaping Reverse STO, this should do it.
One
Two
Samael Ahriman: Here comes Garrett, ready to break it up. This could be his opportune moment.
Garrett interrupts and viciously punches Bowens repeatedly. He rolls him out of the ring and then hits a Pele Kick onto Carter before heading to the top rope and attempting and hitting Andrew with EGADS. He goes for the pinfall.
One
Two
Three!
Christa Adina: Here is your winner, Jayson Garrett
Jayson raises his arm and then smirks at the result as he exits the ring screaming, “Next National Champion!”
Alecia Matthews: Great win there for the debuting Garrett, who is looking to become WFWF National Champion. Proved his statements before the match correct.
Samael Ahriman: Definitely, I really wish his name was spelled normal though.
Alecia Matthews: You're one to talk about weird names.
Samael Ahriman: Oh please, Alecia.
Samael and Alecia glare at the camera, and we all know who they are glaring at. Cough. Cough.
Samael Ahriman: Seriously though, impressive victory for Jayson Garrett. He will challenge for the WFWF National Championship on the next edition of Revolution.

Christa Adina: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and has a twenty minute time limit.
The crowd is tense within the Arena. The card has been great so far, but now the crowd can visibly be seen tensing, as the lights dim once more and the PA system crackling into life with the sounds of 'Bittersweet Symphony' by The Verve. The music is classy and brilliant, but when the voice finally kicks in, its not the expected voice but instead the harsh voice of Mike Shinoba.
3...2...1...Let's Go
This is ten percent luck, twenty percent skill Fifteen percent concentrated power of will Five percent pleasure, fifty percent pain AND A HUNDRED PERCENT REASON TO REMEMBER THE NAME!
And as the 'Remember The Name/Bittersweet Symphony' mix kicks in to high gear, a single golden light illuminates the stage, revealing the back of Ace Andrews in a glittering robe. Ace stands there just for a moment, basking in the hatred from the crowd, before throwing his hands up high with the Ace of Spades handsign, causing a long row of pyro to explode on both sides of the stage. Now the Billionaire Brawler starts to pace down the ramp, smirking the entire way and keeping himself as far away from the fans as possible, while inside the ring Christa Adina steps forward and raises her mike.
Christa Adina: Introducing first, Hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada. He stands in at 6 feet 2 inches tall. He is The Platinum Made Playboy, ACE ANNNNNNDREWS!!!!
Ace now climbs the ring steps, and paces across the apron, looking out at the crowd with a sneer. Ace then steps between the middle and top ropes. Ace steps to the center of the ring, once more looking up at the rafters and raising his hands high with a smirk. After a brief few moments pause, Ace steps away from the center of the ring, undoes and then slips off his robe, and hands it to a roadie on the outside. Now he is ready to wage war against his opponent.
Samael Ahriman: Andrews looking to extract revenge against Beast Kahn.
Alecia Matthews: That is right Samael. Kahn stole the victory from Andrews during their match at this past week’s Revolution.
Khan walks out as the music plays. Khan stares at the crowd and bows then walks to the ring. When walking down the ramp, a white pyro fumes off the ramp. When he reaches the steps, he stops and does Muslim hand motions then enters the ring ready for the fight.
Christa Adina: And introducing his opponent, from India, weighing in at 325 pounds! He is Beast Kahn!
Both men stand toe-to-toe in the middle of the ring. They proceed with a deep stare down as the referee tries to break it up. The referee backs them up as he signals for the bell. Here we go. Andrews and Kahn head straight back to their stare down as they start mouthing each other off.
Samael Ahriman: There is so much tension between these two that you can cut it with a knife.
Kahn backs up a bit but Andrews slaps the big man. Kahn looks in disbelief as Andrews does it again! Ace swings for the giant’s head and connects with a third slap. Kahn gets an angry scowl on his face as Ace runs to ringside.
Alecia Matthews: Well, he just pissed of the giant.
Samael Ahriman: What was he thinking?
Kahn leaves the ring and goes to chase his opponent. They both reach the announce booth outside of the ring as Ace turns around and kicks Kahn right in the balls! The referee leaves the ring to force Ace back into the ring.
Samael Ahriman: That has to hurt like a son of a b*tch.
Alecia Matthews: No doubt in my mind that Andrews just swung momentum his way.
Andrews taunts the fans as he admires his own dirty work. He panders the crowd but walks backwards and collides with an awaiting and very angry Beast Kahn. Kahn grabs Ace by the hair and shoves him to the mat. “The Savior of the Islams” then proceeds to kick the downed Ace Andrews with his gigantic feet.
Alecia Matthews: You know what they say about the size of your feet, right?
The referee forces Beast back but is met to no avail as Kahn picks the rich businessman up on his shoulders. Kahn pushes him up from his shoulders. Splat! Andrews lands stomach first onto the awaiting ring mat.
Alecia Matthews: What a thud.
Samael Ahriman: That has got to hurt.
Kahn throws his arms up and panders to the crowd for a few moments. He turns around and is met with an enziguri! As Kahn drops to his knees, Ace proceeds to forearm the hell out of Kahn’s large cranium. Kahn collapses from the shots as Ace goes for the pin.
…1…
Kickout! Kahn throws Ace from the pinning predicament as the crowd goes wild. Andrews gets up quicker than a cat and starts running the ropes. Kahn then proceeds to give Ace a vicious clothesline that leaves the “The Billionaire Brawler” twisted inside-out.
Samael Ahriman: What a clothesline!
Kahn places his foot on Ace’s throat before he steps over him. All of Kahn’s weight crushing Andrew’s larynx. Andrews starts coughing up blood as he resembles a vampire. Kahn laughs at the downed Andrews and goes for the pinfall.
…1…
…2…
Kickout! The referee clears Kahn into the corner as he signals for medical attention. The WFWF trainers rush to the ring to help out “The Platinum Playboy”. Andrews flips them off before standing right back up with blood pouring from his mouth.
Alecia Matthews: What an athlete. He wants to end this match on his terms.
Andrews backs into the corner as Kahn comes running. Splat! Andrews collapses to the mat as Kahn smiles at his destruction. Kahn panders the crowd as Andrews makes his way back up. Andrews clubs the back of the gigantic Beast Kahn. Kahn turns around before hoisting him up in the air and performs a standing fireman’s carry takeover! Andrews crashes to the mat in pain as Khan goes for the cover.
…1…
…2…
Kickout! Kahn stands right back up frustrated at not getting the job done. Kahn retreats to the corner for a breather.
Samael Ahriman: The big man seems gassed.
As Kahn turns his attention back to his opponent, he is met with a Corner Avalanche by the XWA veteran. Kahn stumbles forwards as Andrews bounces off the mirroring ropes and connects with a huge spear! Both men are down in the middle of the ring as the referee starts the count.
1…2…3…4…5…6…7…
Both Ace Andrews and Beast Kahn stand right back up at the count of seven. Andrews runs the ropes again as he connects with a clothesline. The clothesline sends the big man into the ropes as he gets stuck between the top and middle rope.
Samael Ahriman: He’s been Andre’d! He’s been Andre’d!
Kahn screams from the rope burn on his large arms. Andrews smiles at his opening before punching the big man several times opening a gash on his forehead. Ace grabs the big man’s legs and locks in a reverse Boston Crab!
Samael Ahriman: Holy hell! What an impressive maneuver.
The referee backs Andrews up before unlocking Kahn’s arms from the ropes. Kahn gets back up and is met with an eye gauge. The giant is blind as Andrews ascends the top turnbuckle. Kahn turns around and is met with a huge Diving Crossbody! Kahn falls straight to the mat as Andrews lands on top of him in a pinning predicament.
…1…
…2…
Kickout by Kahn! Andrews gets back up before spitting some blood onto Kahn’s body. This angers the giant as Kahn stands right back up and hoists the Billionaire into the air! Flapjack! Andrews lands right onto his back as its Kahn who now heads for the pin.
…1…
…2…
Kickout! Kahn gets back up and rests on the ropes for a breather as he waits for Ace Andrews to stand back up.
Alecia Matthews: Tremendous heart shown by Ace Andrews, here tonight.
Andrews gets back up and flips off the giant. Kahn, responding negatively to Ace’s actions, charges towards his opponent. Ace ducks a clothesline before running the ropes himself. They both meet with a double-crossbody in the middle of the ring. Both men are down in the center of the squared circle.
…1...2...3…4…5…6…7…8…9
Kahn reaches his feet to stop the double countout. He limps his way over to Andrews. As he picks up the limp body of “The Billionaire Brawler”, he is met with a Triple 7! The giant stumbles back as Ace charges again and connects with another Triple 7! Kahn stumbles off of the ropes as Ace connects with a third Triple 7 that brings the giant down. The fans go nuts as the referee drops for the count.
Samael Ahriman: This one should be all over.
…1…
…2…
Kickout! Andrews stands back up in shock as the crowd goes nuts! Beast Kahn somehow makes his way back up to his feet and pushes Ace Andrews to the mat. Kahn picks Andrews onto his shoulders and delivers a huge Broken In Two!
…1…
…2…
…3…
Alecia Matthews: What a victory for Beast Kahn; a great showing by the giant.
Samael Ahriman: He is now 2-0 here in the WFWF. I see big things in this kid’s future.
Samael Ahriman: What a match that we just saw between Ace Andrews and Beast Kahn.
Alecia Matthews: Another big win for Kahn here tonight. The dude his a big future, pun intended.
Samael Ahriman: Meanwhile Alecia, earlier this week, our backstage interviewer Daniel Knight conducted a special edition of his hit television show with two WFWF Superstars: Dave Demento and Randel Benjamin.
Alecia Matthews: That's right Samael. I'm not being told that we have a special clip from "Knight Time with Daniel Knight." Damn this guy is busy. Roll it.
The camera fades to an already in progress episodic showing of "Knight Time". Daniel Knight welcomes us to his show as he welcomes the extreme duo of the WFWF to the shot. Dave Demento and Randel Benjamin enter the scene both in some pretty snazzy suits and a smile on their faces. Both men sit down next to Knight before he welcomes them to his show.
Daniel Knight: Welcome to "Knight Time with Daniel Knight". I would like to thank both Dave Demento and Randel Benjamin for appearing here tonight on my show.
Dave Demento: Thanks for having us here Daniel. Randel and myself are actually excited to be here.
The camera picks up a very serious blank face on the mug of Benjamin. A quick laugh from the crowd before Daniel gets back to business.
Daniel Knight: Both of you guys are involved in a very important tag team match up this Sunday at WFWF Battleground. A No Disqualification match against the duo of Thunder and a returning Ace Bennett. What exactly are your plans for the upcoming match?
Demento scans the audience before covering his face with a sadistic grin. Randel keeps his straight and serious face before Demento opens up to Knight.
Dave Demento: Well listen here Daniel. This Sunday will not be for the squeamish. And I'm not talking about the huge Battleground Match between Team Demon and Team Xavier. I'm also not talking about the huge Main Event for the WFWF World Championship either. This Sunday, Randel and myself will take everybody back to our days in Japan. We will hurt both Ace and Thunder. We will leave them a bloody mess before we take them and knock them out. Then, we will pin one of them. One, two, three right in the middle of that squared circle. A No Disqualification is right up our alley. We want revenge and we want to send a message, to whomever is the owner of the WFWF, that we are ready to face the bigger and badder stars of the promotion.
The video cuts to a later question of the broadcast in regards to the rumored retirement of Randel Benjamin. The audience wondering about the answer and how it'll effect the hardcore duo.
Daniel Knight: Very well. Now Randel, there are some rumors online regarding a potential retirement from the ring for yourself. Are these true? Will this Sunday be the last time we see you performing in a wrestling ring?
Demento gets angry at the questions before flipping Daniel's papers onto the ground. Randel looks dumbfounded at his partner's questions as he sees his tag team partner leave the set with an upset strut.
Randel Benjamin: Well listen here, mate. I've been wrestling for over forty years now. I'm currently sixty five years old and my body is breaking down. My legs haven't been holding up as I wish. It's harder to get out of bed. I wake up with severe headaches ever since my third concussion back in Japan. You know, mate, with my growing age and the amount of serious injuries I've sustained over the years, I'm surprised I'm still able to stand here on this set. Have I been considering retirement? Yes. Will this Sunday be my last match? Possibly. But mark my words, Daniel, if I'm going out, I'm going out with a bang.
The cameras cut back to the scheduled WFWF broadcast as we head down to ringside for the next scheduled match of the evening.

Christa Adina: The following match is scheduled for one fall, it is for the WFWF National Championship and will be one of three matches to determine who will have the man advantage going in to the Battleground match. Introducing first the challenger, from Wimbledon, England, he weighs in at 195 pounds, Joe Bishop!
The arena lights go dark as Joe Bishop appears at the top of the stage, ‘Hell March’ blasting around the arena. Bishop slowly walks down the ramp to a chorus of boos from the fans in attendance, a crazed look in his eyes as he slides into the ring. Flames shoot from all four ring posts as a twisted smile appears on the face of Bishop, who awaits the arrival of the National Champion Devilkiller.
Alecia Matthews: Here comes Joe Bishop, who I guess it's fair to say isn't particularly thrilled about representing Trace Demon tonight.
Samael Ahriman: Correct, but I'm sure he's looking forward to his first shot at the National Championship since he lost it to Carter Contra.
Christa Adina: And, from New Jersey, weighing in at 270 pounds, this is the WFWF National Champion, Devilkiller!
'Honor' hits, as Devilkiller appears on the stage, receiving a hostile reception from the WFWF fans. An arrogant Devilkiller raises the National Championship in the air as Joe Bishop looks on from the centre of the ring. The National Champion walks to the ring with a smile on his face, unfazed by the reaction he's receiving and enjoying the prospect of stepping in to the ring with Bishop. Devilkiller rolls into the ring and the two men meet in the middle of the ring as the referee gets the National Championship match underway.
As soon as the bell rings, Bishop connects with a right hand, Devilkiller responds and the match quickly turns in to an all out brawl as the two men exchange blows. Devilkiller is eventually able to push Bishop up against the turnbuckle and land a few chops to the exposed chest of Bishop who screams as every blow connects. Devilkiller lifts Bishop up and sits him on the top rope, setting him up for a superplex.
Samael Ahriman: The National Champion gaining control early on in this match as he looks to give Xavier Pierce's team the advantage going in to the Battleground match.
He is unable to hit it though as Bishop hits a series of punches to the gut, before kicking Devilkiller off the top rope. Not wanting to lose the momentum Bishop hits a double axe handle from the top rope, Devilkiller gets up quickly but is met by a dropkick that sends him right back down to the mat. Joe Bishop then pounces, quickly putting Devilkiller into the sharpshooter.
Alecia Matthews: And just like that Bishop is in control again.
Devilkiller desperately crawls towards the ropes looking to keep hold of his National Championship, but as soon as he gets near Bishop pulls him away from the ropes. Bishop, looking to ware down Devilkiller, removes the hold and quickly follows it up by locking Devilkiller into the STF, before eventually transitioning into the crossface. Devilkiller reaches towards the ropes but he has no chance of reaching them.
Samael Ahriman: Well this one could be over already, Devilkiller has no escape route.
Alecia Matthews: If he doesn't come up with something quick he's going to be kissing goodbye to that National Championship.
Just as it looks like Devilkiller may have to tap out, he finds enough energy to roll across the ring, breaking the hold as he does so. This leaves a weary Devilkiller across the ring from Bishop who, looking to keep the momentum charges at Devilkiller, but Devilkiller has just enough left in him to dive out of the way and send Bishop charging into the ring post.
Alecia Matthews: Well Devilkiller survives for now, but that has to have taken so much out of him.
Samael Ahriman: He needs to take advantage, now.
Bishop turns back and is almost met by a 'Legend Killer', but Bishop pushes Devilkiller away as he dives through the air. But the National Champion is able to land on his feet and takes Bishop's head off with a superkick from out of nowhere, Devilkiller drags the lifeless body away from the corner and goes for the pin.
... 1 ...
Alecia Matthews: He's done just that.
... 2 ...
Samael Ahriman: That could be all she wrote.
NO!
Bishop gets an arm up just before the referee's hand can hit the mat. Devilkiller is irate, grabbing the ref by the scruff of the neck and pushing him into the corner of the ring and shouting abuse at the official. This gives Bishop, hoping to steal the victory rolls Devilkiller up.
... 1 ...
No.
Alecia Matthews: Both of these men looking to end this one early.
Samael Ahriman: Makes sense, they need to have enough left in the tank for the Battleground match later on tonight.
Devilkiller is quick to kick out of the pin attempt and the two men end up getting back to their feet, staring one another down. Bishop pushes the National Champion, Devilkiller returns the favour, then comes a right hand from the former champion which is again returned by the current champion.
Alecia Matthews: These two men exchange blows.
Bishop looking to gain some control goes for a clothesline, but Devilkiller ducks it and hits a pele kick. He follows it up with a series of quick kicks to Bishop before lifting him up and sending him to the mat with a DDT.
Samael Ahriman: Devilkiller needs to capitalise...
Devilkiller, sensing his opportunity to give Team Pierce the advantage, leaps on to the top rope as Bishop remains down on the mat. Devilkiller leaps off the top rope going for the Devil's Final Flight, but Bishop is able to move out of the way at the last second sending Devilkiller crashing into the mat. Bishop looking to take advantage of the situation pins Devikiller's knees to his shoulders, going for the pin.
... 1 ...
Bishop puts his feet on the ropes for leverage.
... 2 ...
Samael Ahriman: He's going to steal it...
... 3 ...
Christa Adina: Here is your winner and the new WFWF National Champion, Joe Bishop!
Alecia Matthews: We have a new National Champion and Trace Demon's men have the advantage going in to this Battleground match.
Samael Ahriman: He had to cheat to get the win though.
Alecia Matthews: So, arrest him.
Samael Ahriman: Very funny.
Bishop drops to his knees, lifting his arms in the air as an irate Devilkiller watches on. Devilkiller begins to scream at the referee as Joe Bishop rolls out of the ring and grabs the National Championship, becoming the first man to win the belt on three occasions. Bishop goads Devilkiller, holding the National Championship aloft as Devilkiller shoots him a look that suggests this isn't over.
Alecia Matthews: Bishop did what he had to do, he needed to finish this one early.
Samael Ahriman: Maybe, still I'm sure he's not looking forward to being locked in that cage with Devilkiller later on tonight.
Alecia Matthews: Actually, I kind of think that he might. Especially since Team Trace just gained a one man advantage.
We cut backstage where we see Dave Demento and Randel Benjamin warming up backstage, the two making small talk as they prepare for their upcoming match against Ace Bennett and Thunder. Talk about seeing Daniel everywhere, these guys have been everywhere tonight. As the two chat, Benjamin glances up the hall as a look of anger crosses his face. Benjamin and Demento stand up and stare across the room, out of view of the camera.
Randel Benjamin: What do you want?
The camera pans out to reveal the form of Ace Bennett, one of the aforementioned opponents of Demento and Benjamin, and the crowd can be heard emoting a mixed reaction for the returning star. His hands are up, and it appears as if h doesn't mean any harm, something quite unusual for the Ace Bennett that the WFWF fanbase has become familiar with. Benjamin is huffing angrily and the tension is high in the room.
Ace Bennett: Easy fellas, I just want to talk.
Randel Benjamin: Well, I don't want to talk.
Ace Bennett: Well, you're going to listen.
Benjamin charges at Ace, only to be held back by Demento. Demento shakes his head at Benjamin, telling him that it's not worth it right now. Benjamin tries to calm down a little bit, backup away from the situation.
Dave Demento: You got two minutes.
Ace Bennett: Fair enough. Now I'm sure you're aware of the circumstances of our last meeting, you know, you guys getting fired and everything. And I just want to say that I apologize sincerely. I know that may sound strange coming from me, but I'm here to try to right the wrongs that I've caused since coming here and I'm aware that you and Randel were the victims of one of my outbursts. So I apologize for costing you your job, and I apologize to you for rubbing salt in the wounds by attacking you after the fact and doing as much damage as I did. I don't really expect you to forgive me, but I wanted to come to you as a man and admit that I was wrong in what I did.
Ace extends his hand to Demento, who surprisingly seemed attentive during Ace's apology. Demento stared at the outstretched hand for a good while, he was clearly taken aback by what Bennett had just said. Just as it seems that Demento is going to extend his hand and accept Bennett's apology, Benjamin comes back into frame and slaps the hand of Bennett out of the way.
Randel Benjamin: We ain't hearing your apologies man. Get out of here before I make you wish you had never come here.
Ace Bennett: Thank you for listening to me. Good luck tonight.
Randel Benjamin: Go play in traffic.
Ace shakes his hand and leaves the locker room area, closing the door behind him. As he walks on, he is approached by Thunder, his tag team partner for the tonight.
Thunder: Where have you been? I've been looking everywhere for you.
Ace Bennett: I had some business to take care of. Speaking of which I was hoping that I could talk to you. I wanted to-
Thunder: Ace, there's no time for that. We have a big match tonight. We can give the WFWF an upper hand against Trace with a victory against those goons.
Ace Bennett: Don't worry about me. But I won't be involved with your little war against Trace Demon.
Thunder: What do you mean?
Ace Bennett: I have other things to worry about than some petty argument over this company between two power hungry idiots. We will win tonight, but it's not because I'm crusading for one side or the other. It's because we as a team are better than them. So stop giving me that crap about how I gotta step up for Xavier, because I'm not buying it.
Ace smiles at Thunder and pats him on the back, before walking away. Thunder seems confused about what had just transpired. Is Ace Bennett a trustworthy partner?

As we cut back to the ring, both Penny Shannon and Mak Cross are in the ring.
Samael Ahriman: Big match right here. Team Trace has a one man advantage. If Cross falls here, you might as well hand the keys to the company to Trace.
Alecia Matthews: Yep
The referee calls for the bell and the match is on!
Alecia Matthews: God knows how long I've been waiting to see this!
Samael Ahriman: Unless, Mak Cross can get over himself, the odds of this match seem to be on Penny's favor.
Alecia Matthews: Which is why I've been waiting for this all night!
Mak Cross now reaching for a tie-up, but Penny pushes him off and slaps him in the face. Mak Cross twitches back as Penny storms up to him. “Come on, you p*ssy!”, Penny calls out, mocking him with another slap “Afraid to hit a girl? Oh, you think you're better than me?! Think you're stronger than me?! What kinda man are you?!” Mak Cross snaps and pushes Penny off, but the Velocity Grrrl playfully fires back with another slap in the face!
With a big grin across her face, Penny raises her arms in the air and revels in the moment. Completely satisfied, Penny motions over back to Mak Cross, who's managed to surprise her with a small package!
... 1 ...
... 2 ...
... 3 ...
The Winner: Mak Cross
Mak Cross explodes away from the lock and raises his arms in victory!
Penny's eyes have literally popped out of her head and the Velocity Grrrl is now seething. She rises to her feet and saunters over to Mak Cross's face, but Mak Cross meets with a hard forearm across the face, knocking her down.
Samael Ahriman: Well, that ought to teach her a lesson!
Alecia Matthews: Shut up!
With a smile on his face, Mak Cross exits the ring and heads back to the locker room.
Samael Ahriman: Team Xavier has gotten himself an even matchup at the moment. Now it all hinges on who is able to pull out the win in the Reverend Shadow and Cam Nitta matchup.
Alecia Matthews: Rev is one of the greatest ever. Nitta is a little asian. I like Traces odds.
Samael Ahriman: Man, you are a bitter bitch.
Alecia Matthews: Shut up. Douche.
Samael Ahriman: And with that lovely segue, right away we are entering round three in our ‘who gets the man up’ competition we have going here. Right now, War Games is dead even with Team Trace getting the man advantage due to the victory of Joe Bishop in the National Championship matchup, but just as quickly as they gained it, they lost it with Mak Cross making quick work of Penny Shannon. Rubber match here.
Alecia Matthews: Cam Nitta has not won a match since qualifying for the WFWF Championship a few shows prior to Psycho Circus. He is seeking to get a huge win here tonight and aid his team in War Games, but he has some stiff competition.
Samael Ahriman: Yeah. The best to ever step foot into a WFWF ring. This kid from the Windy City is going to have to hold on for dear life and hope age has caught up to Reverend Shadow, otherwise this is going end very badly for Team Xavier, and Cam Nitta in particular.
“O’ Death” by Jen Titus begins playing over the speaker system. The reacts passionately as Reverend Shadow makes his way to the ring, fully focused on his upcoming contest against Cam Nitta.
Christa Adina: Introducing first, weighing in at two hundred pounds…REVEREND SHADOW!!
"If you're sick, if you're sick, if you're sick, if you're sick of it If you're sick, if you're sick, if you're SICK OF IT!"
Cam emerges from the curtains, cloaked in a black hood and black jacket. Cam extends his hands towards the fans as he walks down the entrance way, but he doesn't seem to care much for them high-fiving. When Cam gets to the ring, he sheds his coat as the chorus his, which sets off the pyro on the stage.
Christa Adina: And his opponent, from Chicago, Illinois and weighing in at one hundred eighty five pounds….CAM NITTA!!!
DING DING DING!
Reverend Shadow slowly strolls out of his corner towards Nitta, who watches him carefully. Shadow stands in the middle of the ring, cracking his knuckles. Nitta darts out suddenly, attempting to nail Shadow with a clothesline. Shadow ducks under, twisting around and locking his right arm around Nitta’s neck before he can move away, violently wrenching him back and locking his leg around his before driving him backwards into the mat with a swift Russian Leg Sweep. He quickly scrambles up, driving an elbow into the chest of Nitta. Refusing to let Nitta recover, Shadow rolls him onto his stomach, lifting his head slightly before driving his elbow roughly into the back of his head, Nitta’s face crashing down into the mat. He tries to lift him back up, but Nitta quickly uses this opportunity to deliver a swift knee into Shadow’s abdomen before slamming a forearm into the left side of his jaw. Shadow stumbles back slightly, and Nitta darts forward, delivering a swift kick to the chest, followed by a kick to the back of his right leg, and a third kick to his left leg, sending him stumbling backwards against the ropes. Shadow leans against the ropes, weathering his legs before Nitta darts forward, baseball sliding between his legs and grasping them as he slides out, tripping up Shadow and sending him collapsing onto his face. Nitta nimbly hops onto the apron and up onto the top rope before jumping and executing a picture perfect Superfly Splash!
1…
2…
KICK OUT!
Nitta hops up to his feet, grasping Shadow’s head and pulls him to his feet before delivering a swift forearm to the right side of his jaw. Shadow stumbles back and Nitta goes for another kick, but Shadow lunges his arm down, grasping his opponent’s leg and quickly shoving him away before running at him and nailing him with a rough clothesline, sending Nitta to the mat. Shadow grabs Nitta once more and attempts a piledriver. However, Nitta wiggles and flails his legs, allowing his legs to hit the floor once more, quickly grasping the backs of Shadow’s legs. However, Shadow counters by hopping up slightly, driving his hips into the back of Nitta’s neck and sending him crumbling to the mat, allowing Shadow to haul him up once more, lift him and finally nail the piledriver spiking his head into the mat! Nitta is groggy, so Shadow quickly picks him back up and executes a fisherman suplex, hooking a tight bridge and going for the win!
1…
2…
KICK OUT!
Alecia Matthews: Such great technical wrestling from Reverend Shadow. This man is a true highlight of the sport.
Samael Ahriman: A great suplex to be sure, but unfortunately he just couldn’t get the pin!
Shadow now whips Nitta into the corner and charges forward to attempt a clothesline, but only slams himself into the turnbuckle as Nitta slides to the right, turns to face his opponent and leaps up, hitting a swift dropkick which sends him backwards into the turnbuckle. Nitta twists onto his feet, jumping up a second time and nailing Shadow with another dropkick, sandwiching him against the turnbuckle and sending him sliding down the turnbuckle, landing on his rear. Nitta turns around, running towards the opposite turnbuckle before turning around, hurtling forward and sliding downwards, nailing a baseball slide into Shadow’s stomach. He attempts to follow up with his trademark head scissors DDT, but Shadow brilliant spins out of the move and grabs a waistlock before executing a picture perfect German Suplex!
1…
2…
KICK OUT!
Nitta thrusts a shoulder up, causing Shadow to release the pin. Shadow attempts another German Suplex, but Nitta brilliantly counters by bracing with his legs and swinging his body forward, taking Shadow over into a victory roll and trying for a flash pin!
1…
2…
KICK OUT!
Alecia Matthews: What action in this contest!
Samael Ahriman: I think their styles are meshing well here, with each working to counter the other’s strengths.
Alecia Matthews: Agreed, I love the proverbial human chess match.
Shadow quickly gets to his feet and turns around, but walks right into a dropkick, sending him backwards to the mat. Nitta runs forward, vaulting over Shadow’s body before hopping onto the second turnbuckle, climbing onto the top rope and turning aroundand diving forward, locking his legs around Shadow’s neck and swinging violently backwards, nailing a Huracanrana which sends Reverend Shadow rolling across the mat, under the bottom rope and all the way to the outside! Seeing his chance, Nitta now throws caution to the wind as he used the ropes to springboard over the top and crash down onto Shadow with a beautiful cross body attack! Shadow is hurt, so Nitta quickly rolls him back inside the ring. As Shadow tries to get his bearings, Nitta springboards off the top rope and nails a beautiful springboard missile dropkick!
1…
2…
KICK OUT!
Nitta senses the momentum is on his side now and grabs Shadow before signaling for the C4!! However, Shadow is far from done and quickly back drops Nitta to escape the move! Nitta is stunned slightly, so Shadow runs forward and tries for the Revelation! However this time it is Nitta that is able to dodge by rolling out of the way! Nitta tries a regular dropkick, but Shadow CATCHES him in mid-air and executes a front powerslam! The move dries the air out of his opponent, so Shadow quickly grabs him and spikes him head-first with a double-arm DDT!
1…
2…
SHOULDER UP!
Samael Ahriman: What a move that was!
Alecia Matthews: I’m more impressed that Cam Nitta was able to kick out myself!
Shadow tries to follow up with another move, but Nitta fires off a quick series of rapid fire kicks to the ribs! When Shadow backs off to avoid the blows, Nitta shows his agility by executing a perfect spinning heel kick! Nitta knows he has to keep up the pressure, so he grabs Shadow now and grabs a hammerlock, only for Shadow to roll forward and throw him over. Nitta is to his feet quickly, but charges forward recklessly and pays for it when Shadow throws a BRUTAL lariat, nearly taking his head clean off! Nitta gets up slowly, so Shadow keeps up the pressure by bouncing off the ropes and executing a strong running kneelift! Shadow grabs him now and looks for an Implant DDT, but Nitta brilliantly scoops the legs and flips over into a jackknife pinning cradle!
1…
2….
KICK OUT!
Shadow gets a shoulder up and Nitta launches to his feet, starting to stomp on Shadow’s face before leaping up, driving the point of his knee into Shadow’s face with a nice kneedrop. Shadow clutches his face in agony as Nitta gets to his feet, turning around and waiting for Shadow to get up. When Shadow makes it to one knee, Nitta charges forward and strikes him dead in the face with the Shining Wizard!
1…
2…
KICK OUT!
Nitta gets to his feet, his hands on his hips as he looks around at the crowd, looking absolutely frustrated before looking down at Reverend Shadow, wondering what it’s going to take to pull it off! He grabs Shadow in a headlock now and seems to try and wear him down, but pays for it when Shadow manages to brace himself and take him over into a Backdrop Suplex! Nitta lands almost directly on his head, so Shadow picks him and quickly gives him a second Backdrop Suplex! This isn’t enough though, as he hits a THIRD Backdrop Suplex, again nearly folding his opponent in half!
Samael Ahriman: Reverend Shadow is showing no mercy here tonight.
Alecia Matthews: You do what you must to win! This is the WFWF!
With Nitta hurting from the suplexes, Shadow now hooks the leg and tries for that elusive win.
1…
2…
SHOULDER UP!
Reverend Shadow now leans down and pulls Cam Nitta up to his feet. He hits a quick elbow to the gut to double him over, then quickly bounces off the ropes and spikes him into the mat with a beautiful swinging DDT! Shadow, feeling the momentum swing his way, hops to his feet and grabs Nitta before swinging an elbow at him, catching him in the jaw and causing him to stumble around, allowing Shadow to lock an arm around his neck and drive his back into the mat with another Side Russian Leg Sweep. Shadow now whips Nitta into the turnbuckles once again and follows with a running clothesline. Nitta is groggy, so Shadow quickly sets him on the top rope and hoists him up, taking off in a Superplex! Both men crash to the mat below and Shadow once again goes for the cover!
1…
2…
KICK OUT!
Sensing that his opponent is hurt, Shadow decides to end it and throws Nitta back into the corner. He lifts him up once again, obviously going for another Superplex. He gets onto the top rope himself, but Nitta manages to hit a shot to the midsection to knock him off. Shadow lands on his feet doubled over, so Nitta jumps off and bounces forward before flipping into the C4!!! However, Nitta is exhausted and can’t make the cover! He finally revives after a few seconds and manages to put an arm over Shadow’s prone body!
1…
2…
KICK OUT!
Samael Ahriman: Tough break for Cam Nitta! That momentary pause has kept Reverend Shadow in this match!
Alecia Matthews: Reverend Shadow is one of the best in the WFWF! If you give him the slightest amount of time he’ll be able to make you pay for it!
Shadow gets a shoulder up at the last possible second, causing Nitta to slap the mat angrily. He turns to the referee, holding up three fingers and pleading that it was a three count. The referee holds up two fingers, assuring him that Shadow kicked out at two. Nitta runs his hand angrily through his hair, stepping over Shadow and climbing onto the nearby turnbuckle once more, getting to the top rope and steadying himself. In a burst of momentum, Reverend Shadow stumbles to his feet, grasping the nearby top rope and pulling it away, causing Nitta to slip and land groin-first on the metal rung holding the turnbuckle in place! With Nitta crotched on the ropes, Shadow takes advantage by lifting him up onto his shoulders and spiking him into the mat with a Death Valley Driver! With Nitta clearly out of it, Shadow hoists him up and spikes him once again into the mat with the Unholy Rapture!
1…
2…
3!!
Samael Ahriman: A great match to be sure, but Reverend Shadow comes out on top in a hard fought contest.
Alecia Matthews: Cam Nitta went to the top just one too many times and it wound up costing him. When you’re facing someone like Reverend Shadow, all it takes is one mistake and that’s all for you.
Samael Ahriman: Yep. And with that, Team Trace has the man advantage going into War Games. This is going to be one hell of a brawl...and with that sadistic f*ck having the advantage...look out.
Alecia Matthews: You do realize that if he wins, he is now your boss, and you are probably out of the job for that comment.
Samael Ahriman: If Trace wins I am walking. Plain and simple.

As their loud music hits, Dave Demento and Randel Benjamin make their way out from behind the curtain, both intense.
Christa Adina: The following tag match is a no holds barred match and it is scheduled for one fall. First, from Canada, at a combined weight of 680 pounds, Dave Demento and Randel Benjamin.
Alecia Matthews: Demento and Benjamin have been everywhere this week. They were helping advance Team Traces agenda, having interviews with Daniel Knight and altercations backstage with their opponents tonight.
Samael Ahriman: One can only hope that they are on the same page.
As they get into the ring, “Over and Under” by Egypt Central hits as Ace Bennett makes his way down to the ring.
Christa Adina: And the opponents. First, from Syracuse, New York, he is Ace Bennett.
Samael Ahriman: Bennett made a surprising return last week, aiding Thunder and David Williams in saving Malakai from the attack Trace sent out, the assailants being the two opponents he has tonight. But he and Thunder have had a rocky history to say the least. Can they remain on the same page?
Ace waits outside of the ring as “Horseshoes and Hand Grenades” by Green Day hits the PA system, Thunder coming out to huge fanfare.
Christa Adina: And finally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he is Thunder.
Alecia Matthews: You know, Thunder has been the most staunch supporter of Malakai as of late and is firmly on Team Xavier. But as you said Samael, he and Ace are hardly in the best of terms so this should be interesting.
Ace and Thunder roll into the ring and the bell rings. Starting off the match, all four men circle the wagons before they all get out of the ring as fast as they can. They all go under the ring and all come up with a weapon. Thunder and Benjamin have chairs, Bennett has a Kendo stick and Demento has a pipe.
Samael Ahriman: Well I see someone got the lucky draw.
All four men got themselves back into the ring, circled the wagon, but Ace and Thunde made the first move, going after Benjamin, whailing on him, the big man trying to stay up but having issues keeping his balance with all of the wiffs. Demento goes after Thunder, cracking him in the ribs with the pipe. He then turns towards Ace, who is bringing down a hard shot with the Kendo stick. Demento gets his pipe up in the nick of time to block what would have keen a KO shot right off of the bat. Demento gives Bennett a kick to the chest who backs up in defense. Ace, a sly smile on his face, twirls the stick in his hand and yells ‘Bring it on’ to Demento who flips the pipe and smirks.
Alecia Matthews: Well here we go.
Samael Ahriman: Shades of the WFWF Tag Team Championship match back when Ace and Thunder were on opposing sides. If this plays out the same, it was nice knowing you Demento.
Demento and Bennett start cracking at one another, Bennett starts out on the offensive, trying to land blow after blow to any part of Dementos body but Demento is very quick to the draw, blocking every shot with his pipe…some getting a little too close for comfort but nothing hitting. Bennett backs Demento up to the corner with a series of hard shots, the two at a cross in the corner. Demento gets out of it though with a sickly headbutt, Ace almost instantly bleeding from the mouth.
Samael Ahriman: Someone might want to take a look at Dementos forehead and see if there are any of Aces teeth in there.
Demento now starts with a series of cracks, mostly toward the rib area, Ace blocking all of them successfully. The fans are eating it up. Similar to how Ace had Demento cornered, the tides have changed, Ace now pinned to the corner. Bennett, remembering his bloody mouth, tries to get out the same way Demento did. Demento was smart though, realizing the same exchange was happening, he moved his pipe over and instead of Ace headbutting Demento, he cracked his forehead into the lead pipe.
Samael Ahriman: Ouch. Pain.
Demento then stomped on the foot of Bennett, forcing him to hunch over a bit and took the end of the pipe and cracked Bennett right underneath the jaw. Ace crumples to the mat and rolls out of the ring, holding his jaw, blood just gushing out of his mouth.
Alecia Matthews: Dirty trick there by Demento.
Samael Ahriman: Correct. But smart. Just do not get cocky kid.
Demento raises his pipe up into the air and shouts towards the fans, they are surprisingly behind him. He turns around…Thunder chucks a chair at his face and delivers a beautiful dropkick, driving the chair right into Dementos face.
Alecia Matthews: What happened there?
Samael Ahriman: Kid got cocky.
Thunder picks up Demento and drops him with a fishermans suplex. Cover.
… 1 …
… 2 …
…
Demento kicks out at two. Thunder shrugs, picking up Demento and Irish Whipping him into the corner. Thunder parades around the ring and charges at Demento. He leaves his feet for a splash but Demento moves out of the way, runs the opposite ropes and comes back at a recovering Thunder and takes him up and over the ropes with a vicious clothesline, both men now outside the ring, along with Ace.
Alecia Matthews: This match is like a f*cking car wreck.
Samael Ahriman: Yeah…wait…I think you might want to change that to a Freight Train.
Alecia Matthews: LOOK OUT ACE.
Ace, using the corner of the barricade to balance himself getting up, just gets dead leveled by Randel Benjamin, who comes from out of no where and spears him through the barricade.
Alecia Matthews: Instantaneous death.
Samael Ahriman: Good.
Alecia Matthews: Someone is bitter.
The fans are up, out of their seats. The place is rocking, the fans screaming ‘Holy sh*t’ and just going absolutely crazy.
Samael Ahriman: This place is coming off of its hinges. These fans are f*cking insane. This match is insane.
Alecia Matthews: Well Thunder and Ace Bennett expected somewhat of a challenge, but I do not think that they were expecting to be absolutely taken to task like this. I do not think anyone saw Benjamin and Demento coming out here and unloading nothing but fire on these two guys.
Thunder and Demento are beginning to stir, both having a hard time pulling themselves up. Once they get their wits about them though, Demento goes after Thunder, who dodges and uses Dementos weight against him, Demento coming dangerously close to cracking off of the steps, but he stops himself at the last possible second, taking a deep breath. He turns around and gets a swift kick to the knees from Thunder, the kid falling on his ass, back against the steps. Thunder then charges, jumps, and using the middle step as leverage, strikes Demento in the head with his other knee, the back of Dementos head hitting the steps hard, his eyes glassing over almost instantly as he completely crumples into a ball of nothingness.
Samael Ahriman: Thunder pulling out all of the stops early on, crushing Demento with a violent Shining Wizard.
Thunder, not completely in it, struggles to pick up Demento and roll his lifeless body into the ring. Somehow he succeeds in doing this though, also barely pulling himself into the ring. Thunder covers Demento, the fans counting along loudly, in unison.
… 1 …
… 2 …
…
Demento kicks out and the building absolutely erupts. Thunder pulls himself into the corner and hangs his head, just in absolute awe that Demento survived such a violent onslaught and still managed to kick out. Even Samael is standing from his commentary spot, pulling off his headset, staring in disbelief.
Alecia Matthews: He…kicked out?
On the outside, Benjamin has gotten up and has pealed Bennett off of his shoulder, blood running down his back from Bennetts mouth. Benjamin takes a stab at a chop, but Bennett ducks underneath and hits Benjamin with what seems like a nasty low blow. Desperation. You hear the clicking of a headset.
Samael Ahriman: Enough of this.
Benjamin goes down, naturally. Bennett is smiling, finally getting the big guy down, albeit in a questionable manner. Samael took question with it in particular, coming up behind Bennett and getting into a screaming match with him.
Alecia Matthews: For those of you who do not remember, Samael and Bennett are not on the best of terms. They are generally rooting for Malakai later tonight, but personally they have had their issues in the past. Ace Bennett, in particular, leaving Raider for broke when they were set to defend their tag titles against The New Epoch. As a result, Raider was forced to almost enter the match with it being a handicap. Luckily for him though, my commentating partner went ahead and took action into his own hands, donning the second tag belt and going into a match against two of the best ever. Clearly, they lost, but if it were not for Sam, who knows what would have happened to Raider. This could get ugly.
Bennett and Samael are jawing at one another, expletives being spewed from both sides, with Raider the popular topic. Samael, losing his cool, swings and decks Bennett. Bennett looks out to the fans, shrugs, and takes a swing at Samal and the fight is on. Lefts and rights are thrown, no one able to get the advantage.
In the ring, Thunder is having issues of his own. Not only did Demento kick out, he recovered rather quickly, taking the fight to Thunder, grabbing one of the chairs left in the ring and taking him to task. Demento hits a lethal headshot and Thunder goes down. Demento stands over Thunder, preparing for a cover, but he looks outside of the ring and sees Samael and Bennett duking it out. Demento looks at the motionless Thunder, shrugs, tosses the chair down, runs the ropes and throws himself up and over the top rope onto Samael and Bennett.
Alecia Matthews: HOLY SH*T. SAMAEL.
Demento gets to his feet and runs around the outside of the ring in a frenzy. He rolls into the ring and pulls Thunder up, ready to put Thunder to sleep. Up onto his shoulders Thunder goes, but as Thunder is going down, he pushes himself away from Demento and hits him with the Thunder and Lightning. What a reversing maneuver. Thunder with the cover.
… 1 …
… 2 …
... 3 …
The ref calls for the bell.
Christa Adina: Here are your winners, Ace Bennett and Thunder.
Alecia Matthews: Wait…it is over? That fast? Demento was just on fire a moment ago…
Samael has made his way back to the table, not too coherent, but somewhat understanding.
Samael Ahriman: He…he got cocky. He put up a hell of a fight, the bastard took me out. But he went after me and Ace instead of finishing Thunder. Rookie mistake, but his own fault.
Thunder is on his knees, holding his head. Ace has rolled his way into the ring at this point, his mouth a bloody mess at this point. Nothing but soup for him for a while. But the ref raises their arms in victory…but it is all for naut. The giant has arisen, and he is royally pissed. Benjamin has pulled himself into the ring and, out of the four of the men, is in the best condition and he is looking for a fight. He clotheslines Bennett, punches at Thunder and when Bennett rises, both men try to fight off Benjamin to no avail. The big man has the momentum.
The crowd is booing Benjamin. While putting his body on the line for this match, Thunder and Ace are still the good guys. Benjamin is not, and Benjamin is taking it to the two veterans like no ones business. But then, the crash heard around the world.
Samael Ahriman: WHAT THE HELL?
The fans are going nuts. From behind Benjamin, to make the save of Bennett and Thunder, is Dave Demento, taking down Randel Benjamin. A couple of chair shots later and the big man is out for the count. Demento looks at the chair, a sorrowful look on his face, like he just put down his favorite pet or something. The fans are soaking it all up though. Demento looks at Thunder and Ace, lays the chair down and rolls out of the ring and walks to the back.
Samael Ahriman: What the hell did we just see?
Alecia Matthews: I am as clueless as you are. I could understand if it was the other way around. Why, Demento?
Samael Ahriman: Yeah, we need to know why he did that…hey WAIT. WHAT IS THUNDER DOING?
Thunder, who in the time it took to say those commentary lines had rolled out of the ring, grabbed one of the hammers used for the ring posts and rolled back in, swinging it around, his eyes never leaving Benjamin. Thunder cocks the hammer high, but Ace screams at him. Something about he will not allow another career to be ended like this, on his watch. Thunder cocks an eyebrow and stares down Bennett, all kinds of seriousness in that ring. Thunder drops the hammer and both men get nose to nose.
Samael Ahriman: Another battle?
Thunder scoffs at Bennett, stomping away and rolling out of the ring. Ace stares at Thunder who is walking up the ramp, with as much haste as he can, clearly fuming.
Alecia Matthews: Something tells me that this is not over.
Samael Ahriman: Not by a longshot, Leccie.

Battleground has already been a memorable pay per view for most, which makes it all the more exciting when you realize that there’s still two big main event clashes yet to come. The first of which is up next, so get strapped in because all hell is about to break loose. The steel cell has already been lowered, an enormous structure that rises nigh on thirty feet above the ring with a roof preventing escape from above. The only way in is through a single door. This monstrous structure is intimidating to all.
Christa Adina: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is the Battleground for complete control of the WFWF. The rules are as follows. Two men will start inside of the steel cell. Every three minutes a new competitor will enter from alternating teams, starting with Team Demon as a result of winning the best of three series. Pinfalls or submissions with result in an elimination, and the match can only end when the entirety of one team is entirely eliminated!
Alecia Matthews: There you go ladies and gentlemen, the rules are explained, the cage is down and we are ready to determine the future of this company.
Samael Ahriman: By the time this match is done either Xavier Pierce or Trace Demon will have complete control of the WFWF and I for one know exactly which way I want this to go.
Alecia Matthews: I see you’re not saying which way that is.
Samael Ahriman: I’m not stupid; if the other team wins I want to keep my job!
Alecia Matthews: Well earlier tonight we saw Team Demon take the best of three series two to one to gain the one man advantage which means they’ll have a serious advantage after that initial three minute period, and every other one after that.
Samael Ahriman: Not if there’s a quick elimination they won’t.
Alecia Matthews: A very good point, but let’s see how it works in practice.
With the announcers run down finished we head back into the ring where Laura Watts is still standing, ready to make the initial introductions.
Christa Adina: Introducing first, representing Team Pierce…
If you’re sick, if you’re sick, if you’re sick, if you’re sick of it. If you’re sick, if you’re sick, if you’re SICK OF IT!
As “Sick of it” echoes out across the arena Cam Nitta emerges from the curtains, cloaked in a black hood and black jacket, drawing a loud cheer from the fans here in Miami, Cam clearly being a fan favourite in this match. Nitta extends his hands towards the fans as he walks down the entrance way, but he doesn’t seem to care much for them high fiving. He reaches the bottom of the ramp where the WFWF officials open up the cage door, Cam shedding his coat as the chorus hits, which sets off the pyro on the stage. Nitta heads up the steps and enters the cell, looking around at the intimidating structure that he must contend with as much as he contends with his opponents. As his theme comes to an end he looks to the ramp, knowing exactly who he’ll be starting out with.
Christa Adina: Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, standing in at 5’9 and weighing 185lbs… Cam… Nitta!
Alecia Matthews: This is by far the biggest match of Cam Nitta’s young career, a chance to prove he belongs with the elite of the WFWF.
Samael Ahriman: And get himself in the good books of Xavier Pierce in the process. Of course if he’s on the losing end… well I wouldn’t want to be him, that’s all I’ll say.
Christa Adina: And his opponent…
The sound of a bullet suddenly explodes out through the arena before a brand new theme begins to play, sending the lights in the arena shutting off one by one. As the opening chords of “Shoot the War Pigs” by INHUMANZ begins to blare across the arena six crimson spotlights switch on one by one, each shining down upon a different part of the arena in sequence. One by one each of the spotlights move to the tip of the ramp and showing the first glimpse of the man who tonight fights for control of this company – the WFWF International Champion Trace Demon, kneeling with his back to the ring and a hood covering his head. As the song builds to a fever pitch and the rap kicks in he suddenly rises, spins around and in one simultaneous motion pulls his hood down and throws his other hand up like a gun, mouthing “Boom” as a spectacular pyrotechnics display shoots off all around him, only the best for the WFWF’s co-owner after all. As the pyrotechnics display comes to a stop the lights in the arena turn back on, showing a full look at the egomaniacal Trace Demon.
Christa Adina: Hailing from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at 230lbs and standing at six foot, three inches, he is the reigning WFWF International Champion and the co-owner of the WFWF, the King of Demons… Trace… Demon!
Alecia Matthews: Trace Demon has the opportunity right here to do something he has always aspired to do – take complete control of the entire WFWF.
Samael Ahriman: The last time he was calling the shots he had an entire board of directors hanging over his head but if he wins tonight… well let’s just say it’s going to be a completely new WFWF.
Trace Demon stands on the ramp and takes a look around at the crowd, completely brushing off the incredibly loud chorus of boos coming in for possibly the most hated man in the WFWF. He doesn’t care what the fans think of him, he’s ready to take this company no matter what anyone else thinks. The King of Demons begins making his way down towards the cell, completely ignoring the fans on either side of the barricades as they attempt to reach out and touch him, instead focused solely on Cam Nitta, the first of four who intend to stop him getting what he wants. As he reaches the bottom of the ramp he removes his hoody and the WFWF International Championship, forcefully handing them over to one of the officials before ascending the steel steps, not fazed by the cell in the slightest, this isn’t the first time he’s been in this structure, he knows the kind of violence and pain to expect. As soon as he is inside the ring the officials close the cell door behind him and bolt it shut, as it will remain for the next three minutes until the second member of Team Demon enters the match.
Alecia Matthews: And there we go, the door is shut and this match is about to get underway.
Samael Ahriman: The odds have never been greater for either of these men, or probably anyone in this match, than they are right now.
DING! DING! DING!
The in-ring official calls for the bell and this match is officially underway, Trace Demon and Cam Nitta kicking things off as a huge clock on the big screen begins counting down from three minutes. Cam Nitta is immediately cautious as Trace Demon stares him down with a grin, he’s done his research, he knows how dangerous Trace is, he knows he can’t go diving into this especially when he has a second member of Team Demon on their way in a matter of minutes. Trace takes a step forward and Nitta instinctively takes a step back, drawing a laugh from the King of Demons at Cam’s apparent cowardice. As Trace laughs Cam decides to shut him up and charges forwards only for the International Champion to quickly stop laughing, sidestep and drop down at the same time, wrapping his legs around the near ankle of Cam Nitta and dragging him down to the canvas with a drop toe hold. Nitta is taken off guard as Trace’s experience gets the better of him, the King of Demons leaping across his back and locking in a side headlock, wrenching on the neck to increase the tension upon the head of the fan favourite.
2:46
Alecia Matthews: Less than fifteen seconds into this match and already Trace Demon is in control.
Samael Ahriman: Just goes to remind everyone exactly how dangerous he is, you can’t rush into anything when you’re against Trace because he will punish you for it.
Trace continues tightening the headlock as he slowly drags Nitta up onto his feet, his arm still wrapped around the head of the less experienced competitor. Trace suddenly tries to deliver a martial arts style flip to Nitta in an effort to slam him back first to the apron but Nitta counters quite spectacularly, managing to flip as Trace tosses him and landing on his feet. Nitta uses the momentum to run for the ropes, rebounding off of them and on the return leaping up and driving both of his boots right into the chest of the International Champion with a dropkick that sends Trace crashing to the canvas, though Cam follows due to momentum. Both men quickly roll through and are up onto their feet immediately but Cam strikes quicker, leaping up and connecting with a beautiful hurricanrana that sends Trace flying backwards. Trace manages to push himself up to his feet fully aware that he is now standing right in front of the cage wall and seeing a charging 5’9 ball of Illinois fury coming right at him. Trace ducks down, hooks his arm around the incoming leg of Nitta and lifts him up, releasing and sending Cam flying towards the steel cage. Cam manages to grab hold of the cage wall and then, without even looking back, leaps and turns in mid-air sure that he’s going to crash straight down upon Trace. The King of Demons has other ideas, taking a step back and driving his boot into the gut of Nitta right as he lands with his feet on the mat. Demon swiftly pulls Cam in and delivers a vicious spiked DDT, driving Nitta head first into the canvas.
2:17
Alecia Matthews: Well just when Cam Nitta was building a head of steam it’s stopped dead in the early goings of this match.
Samael Ahriman: But take into account how Cam used the steel cell to his advantage there. It may not have paid off but he’s got a feel for that steel now and that’s important to get early in the match.
Trace is quick to his feet and makes sure Cam is as well, pulling him up and then delivering a big Irish whip to the corner, sending Nitta back first into the turnbuckle. With Nitta prone Trace approaches, grabbing hold of the top rope for leverage and bringing his boot to the throat of the young fan favourite, beginning to choke Cam Nitta out. Not only that but Trace is making sure that Cam’s face is pushed towards the cage, not quite against it but close enough to make the point of what he’s gotten himself involved in with this match. Trace releases the choke, letting Cam fall to the canvas gripping his throat as he tries to catch his breath. It’s at this point that Trace, hands still on the ropes, pushes his boot against the side of the kneeling Cam’s skull and pushes him face first through the ropes and into the steel cell. Cam shouts out in pain as his face is pressed against the steel, grated by the mesh wall of the Battleground cell. The official can do nothing but watch as Trace pushes harder and harder, only releasing because you can’t put a man down when he’s kneeling, Nitta dropping to the canvas holding his face in pain while Trace simply smirks.
1:43
Alecia Matthews:
Samael Ahriman:
With the clock nearing the halfway mark to our third competitor Trace Demon looks to ensure Cam won’t even make it that far as he pulls him up to his feet and away from the cage, pushing Nitta’s head down into a front chancery, hooking the arm and then with speed likened to a much smaller man lifts Nitta up and drops him back first with a snap suplex, the King of Demons rolling over and going for an early pinfall.
ONE!
TWO!
KICK OUT!
But he can only manage a two count as Cam Nitta manages to kick out, saving himself from an early bath here tonight in this highly important contest. Trace doesn’t look all that shocked, it was a hopeful move at best, but he does look like he wants to finish Cam off right now. The King of Demons lines Nitta up with the turnbuckle and then begins to climb it, using the cage for some extra balance as he lines himself up with Nitta who is oblivious, busy writhing in pain. Then Trace leaps elbow first, looking to drop the elbow straight across the chest of Cam Nitta… but Nitta moves! Cam manages to roll out of the way and Trace just goes crashing elbow first into the canvas as the crowd let out a huge cheer!
1:03
Alecia Matthews: Cam Nitta dodges and now this is his chance to try and do some damage to Trace before the International Champion gets some backup.
Samael Ahriman: That one man advantage is going to become very noticeable in just over a minute Alecia.
Indeed as the clock ticks down Cam Nitta knows he has to move quickly if he wants to put Trace away before the second member of Team Demon makes their presence known. Nitta leaps across onto Trace, beginning to unload with a series of uncharacteristically violent right hands. Trace manages to block some of the blows with his hands but a number get through and leave Trace groggy enough for Nitta to grab him by the hair and drag him up onto his feet. Once up Nitta delivers a hard Irish whip that sends Trace back first into the turnbuckle, Cam lining up and then charging straight after him. Nitta quickly steps up, driving his knee into the jaw of the King of Demons and pulling himself up onto the turnbuckle in the process, allowing Trace to stagger out from the turnbuckle. Cam waits for Trace to turn before he leaps off, wrapping his arm around the head of Demon as he comes down and then flipping him straight up, driving him head first into the canvas with a quite spectacular flying DDT that looks like it’s knocked the co-owner of the WFWF clean out in one blow. Nitta quickly rolls Trace over and goes for the cover, hoping that he can eliminate one member of Team Demon before a second gets to enter.
ONE!
TWO!
KICK OUT!
0:33
Alecia Matthews: No such luck for Cam Nitta as Trace manages to kick out at two, you know that it’s going to take more than that to eliminate a man like Demon.
Samael Ahriman: He’s fought through things that would seriously injure a normal man, even a DDT like that won’t do the job.
Cam takes a look up at the clock on the big screen, knowing he’s got thirty seconds to do something drastic. He begins to drag Trace up onto his feet but as he does Trace fires off with a right hand that, while sloppy, stuns Cam and sends him staggering backwards. Trace bounces up onto his feet and begins to fire off with forearm blows to Nitta, backing him up against the ropes and the cell wall behind them. Trace grabs Cam by the arm and delivers a big Irish whip and on the rebound Demon charges forwards, the International going for a clothesline only for Cam to duck underneath it, the young star bouncing off of the opposite set of ropes. Trace swivels on the spot and charges forwards, both men going for a running clothesline at the same time and both of them connecting, the two men hitting a double clothesline and sending each other crashing to the canvas simultaneously. Both men are down as the clock ticks, ticks, ticks right down to…
0:00
Alecia Matthews: And here we go, the second member of Team Demon is about to make their entrance.
Samael Ahriman: The big question is who’s it going to be, because there’s a certain member of Team Demon who… oh, here she is now.
Indeed as the buzzer sounds Penny Shannon makes her way out onto the stage and heads straight down the ramp towards the Battleground cell. An official quickly unbolts the door and opens it up allowing her to ascend the steps and enter into the cage where both Trace Demon and Cam Nitta are down and trying to gain their bearings after being rattled by the clothesline collision. It should be an easy decision, Penny should go straight for Nitta and try to get him out of this match but it’s a lot harder than that, the problems between Trace Demon and Penny Shannon in recent weeks threatening to backfire upon Trace. The seconds tick by as Penny looks from one to the other, every time she looks at Trace getting a cheer from the fan. She approaches Trace, looking set to turn her back on the leader of her team… before suddenly swivelling and driving her boot into the ribs of Cam Nitta, making her choice very clear.
2:40
Alecia Matthews: Well Penny Shannon had her doubts but it looks like she’s made the wrong decision in the eyes of these fans.
Samael Ahriman: Well these fans won’t be the ones who keep her employed if Trace Demon is victorious here tonight. She’s saving her own skin.
Penny Shannon drives her boot into Cam Nitta over and over again in a relentless onslaught and it’s this sight that Trace Demon first sees as he reaches his knees. He smiles at Penny who looks back at him in disgust and just goes back to stomping on Nitta who is taking some serious punishment right now. Trace pushes himself up onto his feet and barges in, pushing Penny out of the way and hooking his hands around the head of Nitta, pulling him up onto his feet and driving a knee right up into the ribs of the fan favourite who drops back down to his knees from the pain. Out of nowhere Penny bursts forwards and drives her boot straight into the side of Cam’s skull, dropping him to the canvas in a heap of pain. Trace again pulls a groggy Nitta up onto his feet, this time lining him up with the steel cage before charging right at it, the King of Demons throwing Cam Nitta full force into the steel cell wall, Cam colliding head first with the steel mesh and bouncing off, dropping to the canvas and going motionless as the crowd watch on disgusted. Trace quickly rolls Cam over and goes for the cover.
ONE!
TWO!
KICK OUT!
2:15
Alecia Matthews: Cam manages to kick out but things are not looking good for the sole Team Xavier member in the ring right now.
Samael Ahriman: And there’s over two minutes until the next entrant, how is he going to last that long at the hands of these two sociopaths?
Indeed things are looking bleak and it’s not just the announcers that have noticed it, but the crowd as well as they boo relentlessly. Trace and Penny ignore them, the duo closing in around Cam like buzzards. Trace hauls the out of it fan favourite onto his feet and holds onto him from behind while Penny sends her boot painfully into the mid-section of the Chicago native. Cam grips his mid-section as Trace pushes him into the ropes, Nitta having to hold onto the top rope to stop himself from collapsing. That’s the last place he wants to be as Trace charges at him and brings his boot up, looking to crush Cam’s head against the cell wall but Cam sees it coming, managing to duck down, Trace’s boot hitting nothing but the mesh wall! Trace staggers backwards, stunned, and this gives Cam the chance to explode forwards with a forearm smash to Penny Shannon, dropping her to her knees. As Trace turns back to Cam he finds the sparkplug of a competitor leaping up and sending his boot right into the side of his head, Cam hitting a picture perfect kick that drops Trace Demon down on the spot. Before he can capitalise on this Penny Shannon is on him, unloading with kicks and knees to the mid-section that backs him into the corner, seemingly defenceless.
1:43
Alecia Matthews: Cam Nitta has taken Trace out of the equation temporarily, now he just needs to contend with Penny Shannon.
Samael Ahriman: No easy feat, but if the spirit of this kid can shine through then he might just manage it.
Penny has Cam in the corner, throwing knees and kicks into his ribs like they’re going out of fashion, but suddenly Nitta manages to catch Penny’s boot and uses it to drag her around, pushing her back first against the turnbuckle and nailing her with a right hand for good measure. Cam climbs up onto the second rope in front of Penny Shannon and goes old school as he gets the crowd going and proceeds to unleash with punches, ten punches in fact, each one being delivered with a count along by the live Miami crowd. When punch number ten connects with the skull of Penny Shannon Cam glances behind him and sees Trace Demon making his way onto his feet. Nitta doesn’t like that one bit and then does something pretty spectacular, leaping up onto Penny’s shoulders and back flipping straight off of them, twisting himself in the air and delivering a beautiful corkscrew moonsault as he crashes down on top of the International Champion. He literally leaps right back up onto his feet and charges at Penny who has dropped to her knees in the corner, Nitta stepping up and delivering a Shining Wizard to the side of the head of the Velocity Grrrl that drops her to the canvas and gives Nitta the chance to attempt his first pinfall of the match.
ONE!
TWO!
KICK OUT!
1:09
Alecia Matthews: Oh, so close for Nitta right there but he’s really picking up some momentum now.
Samael Ahriman: And with just over a minute to go until backup makes its arrival he’s actually taking the fight to Team Demon quite convincingly.
Both Penny and Trace are down and Cam knows he’s only got to last another minute. He grabs Penny by the hair and slowly pulls her up onto her feet, dragging her back over to the turnbuckle. Nitta ducks down, hooks his arm around the leg of Penny and lifts her up onto the top turnbuckle, looking for a high impact move to keep himself in control of this match as the clock drops below the minute mark. Nitta slowly begins to make the climb up the turnbuckle, holding onto the cage as pulls himself up onto the top turnbuckle, standing in front of Penny. While holding the cage for balance he slowly pulls Penny up onto her feet so that both of them are now standing precariously on the top rope. Cam goes to hook the arm when suddenly he finds himself shaken, Nitta dropping down and painfully crotching himself on the top turnbuckle as Trace Demon has risen and barged into the ropes. Penny, holding onto the cage to avoid the same fate, gathers her bearings and then uses a boot to push Cam back, leaving him hanging from the top rope in a position he doesn’t want to be in. Trace shouts directions to Shannon and she nods, remaining on the top rope while Trace positions himself across the other end of the ring. Trace nods at Shannon and as Trace begins to run forwards Penny leaps up. In a spectacular display of teamwork Penny Shannon delivers a thunderous double stomp to the chest of Cam Nitta, rolling out of the way immediately after as Trace leaps up and drives his boots into the skull of Cam Nitta with a low dropkick that pulls the fan favourite straight down to the canvas in a heap.
0:25
Alecia Matthews: My god that was absolutely brutal, Cam Nitta was so close to taking the advantage and now…
Samael Ahriman: Now he might be dead.
Dead is as good a word as any for the state of young Cam Nitta right now, the fan favourite being entirely out of it following the double team. Trace shouts some more orders at Penny who looks angry at having to take them but does so none the less. Seeing the clock ticking down closer and closer to zero Trace drags Nitta to the centre of the ring while Penny positions herself in front of the cell door. Trace places his leg between Nitta’s and wraps them around it, hooking an arm around the wrapped legs and then stepping over, turning Nitta onto his chest and hooking in a painful looking sharpshooter! Nitta lets out a roar of pain as the official ducks in close, asking Nitta if he wants to quit. Nitta refuses but every second is agony, every second feels like his back is about to explode, every second is one second closer to being unable to walk. But it’s not every second that’s important…
It’s this one.
0:00
Alecia Matthews: Cam Nitta has held on, and now he’s got some backup on the way!
Samael Ahriman: But Penny is right in front of that cell door waiting, Trace wasn’t taking any chances with this one.
The crowd roar in delight as Mak Cross, Cam’s friend and tag team partner, steps out onto the stage as the second member of Team Xavier. Despite the tension between the two partners in recent weeks Mak wastes no time in charging down the ramp to aid his friend. The officials have to act quickly to unbolt the door in time but as they do it Mak dives underneath the bottom rope into the cage, ducks underneath an attempted clothesline by Penny and delivers a leaping clothesline straight to Trace Demon that forces him to break the sharpshooter, saving Cam Nitta from certain elimination. Mak’s on his feet just in time to come face to face with Penny Shannon. He teases not being able to hit a girl and then simply says screw it and fires off a vicious right hand that knocks Shannon onto her ass. Mak is blindsided by Trace who nails him with a blow from behind but Cross spins round and fires back with a few right hands of his own, shocking Trace as the less experienced competitor takes the fight to the veteran, sending him backing up into the corner and then delivering an Irish whip that sends Trace back first into the opposing turnbuckle. Penny is rising at this point but doesn’t get far as Mak runs at her, grabbing her by the arm, spinning her around and delivering another Irish whip, this one sending Penny back first into Trace in the corner. Both of them are propped up against each other in the corner making them a simple target for Mak Cross who charges across the ring and delivers a leaping splash to both Team Demon members at the same time, sending them crashing to the canvas!
2:32
Alecia Matthews: Mak Cross has been in this match less than half a minute and he’s already taken both Trace Demon and Penny Shannon out!
Samael Ahriman: No signs of the tension that’s been on show between Mak and Cam in recent weeks, Mak is here to win.
With Trace and Penny down Mak makes his way over to Cam, checking on his friend and tag team partner. Nitta’s hurting but he’s still got some fire left in him, Cross helping him up onto his feet and the two men simply nodding at each other as they both go after separate targets, Nitta grabbing Penny and Mak grabbing Trace as they both drag their opponents up onto their feet. Both begin working over their targets, Mak pushing Trace into the corner and beginning to deliver some pretty vicious boots while Cam drags Penny to the centre of the ring and goes to deliver an Irish whip. Penny manages to counter, flipping them round and sending Cam barrelling across the ring. Nitta rebounds off the ropes and literally baseball slides between Penny’s legs on the return, Nitta bouncing up onto his feet and keeping on running like it’s one fluid motion. As Nitta reaches the ropes he leaps up, grabs hold of the cage and then flips off, landing right down on top of Penny with a flying crossbody. It’s at this point that Mak drags Trace out of the corner and pushes him into a front chancery, ducking down, hooking the leg and delivering a Fisherman’s suplex to Trace Demon, sending him straight down on top of Penny Shannon! Mak points at the ropes and Cam gets the message, Nitta running for the ropes as Mak ducks down and puts his hands together. On the rebound Cam leaps up landing with one boot on Mak’s hands as Cross then gives Nitta a boost up and over, the high flyer flipping in mid-air and landing straight down on top of both Trace Demon and Penny Shannon with a big swanton! As Cam clutches his back in pain from the move Mak quickly dives on top of Trace and Penny, intending to pin and eliminate them both at one time!
ONE!
TWO!
KICK OUT!
1:56
Alecia Matthews: An innovative attempt at eliminating two in one that just doesn’t quite pay off, but Mak Cross and Cam Nitta are definitely on the right track.
Samael Ahriman: They’ve got the kind of teamwork that Trace and Penny just couldn’t dream of.
Both Trace and Penny manage to kick out but there’s still plenty of time before the third member of Team Demon makes their entrance for Mak and Cam to hopefully get the first elimination. Firstly they drag Penny up onto her feet before simultaneously hooking her arms and delivering a big double suplex that seemingly puts her out of action for the time being. Pushing Penny away the duo look to target the most dangerous man in the WFWF, Trace Demon. Cam drags a defenceless Trace up onto his feet, holding him from behind before pushing him straight into a superkick by Mak Cross that knocks Trace clean out cold. That’s not enough for Mak who shouts directions to Nitta, pointing to the top of the cell. Cam seems sceptical but heads for the cell anyway and begins to climb up, heading straight for the roof. During this Mak puts the boots into Trace, and delivers a kick to skull of Penny Shannon to keep her down for good measure, before dragging Trace into the centre of the ring. Cam has reached the top of the cell at this point and carefully hooks his hands up into the mesh ceiling and, in a spectacular display of strength and agility, begins to climb across the underside of the cell ceiling to the centre so that he’s right over the top of Trace Demon. Mak has hold of Trace’s legs to keep him there as Cam suddenly leaps off, flipping in the air and attempting to Claymore from the top of the cell… only for Trace to kick Mak away and roll out of Cam’s reach at the last second, Nitta crashing straight into the canvas chest first!
1:19
Alecia Matthews: Cam Nitta just crashed into that mat from thirty feet up, he could be paralyzed.
Samael Ahriman: He could be dead.
Cam Nitta lies motionless as Mak Cross looks on shocked at what’s happened to his partner. He doesn’t get any respite as he’s suddenly nailed out of nowhere by a sick looking Spear courtesy of the International Champion! Mak clutches his ribs in pain as Trace takes the opportunity to catch his breath, noticing Penny slowly dragging herself onto her feet at the same time. Trace makes his way over to Penny, dragging her up and pushing her against the ropes to keep her up, the Velocity Grrrl being more than a little groggy after being kicked in the skull. Trace slaps her across the face to wake her up but as Penny realizes what he’s done she fires back with a slap of her own that shocks her, Trace and everyone else watching. Trace shakes his head at her and then furiously grabs her by the hair, yanking it back and screaming at Penny that he’ll “end everything she loves” if she does that again. He’s only interrupted by Mak Cross who is up onto his hands and knees, the King of Demons releasing his grip on Penny and delivering a running boot straight to the ribs of Cross. As Penny simply watches on Trace drags Mak up onto his feet and then runs at the cage, sending him head first into the cage with such force that when he bounces back we see a cut in his forehead, blood trickling down from the collision with the cell.
0:45
Alecia Matthews: First blood has been spilt inside the Battleground, but I doubt it’ll be the last.
Samael Ahriman: Did you see what Trace just did to his own partner? How can he be trusted to run a company when he does that to the people who are trying to help him keep it?
The moment Trace sees the blood he mounts Mak and begins hammering away with right hands right at the forehead of Cross, perfectly content with just beating on his opponent while Penny watches on, pacing around the ring like a rabid animal. She sees Cam begin to stir and just drives her boot into his back as if sending a message to stay down. Trace unmounts Mak, grabbing him by the head and dragging him over to the cage wall. He props Mak kneeling against the ropes and then backs up, Cross looking out of it as the King of Demons comes right at him, bringing his boot up and proceeding to crush Mak’s head against the cage wall! The crowd let out a huge boo as Mak Cross slumps to the canvas in an unconscious heap, his partner Cam being in very much the same state, the two members of Team Xavier being brutalised in the centre of the cell. Trace turns his attention back to Cam, hooking his hands around the head of the young star and dragging him up to his feet, only to be shocked when Nitta unleashes a groggy right hand that connects with the skull of Demon. Trace backs up as Cam quickly catches a charging Penny with a back elbow that sends her down and lets Cam charge Trace who has his back to the wall, the high-flyer leaping up and connecting with a dropkick that sends the back of Trace’s head straight into the cage wall! Cam turns back to Penny, waiting for her to reach her feet before running at her, flipping around her body and delivering a vicious headscissors DDT. With Penny and Trace down a still groggy Nitta heads for the corner, climbing up to the top, composing himself and leaping off as the clock ticks…

Cam Nitta remains down on the canvas as the door is unlocked, both to pull Penny Shannon from the ring but also because Joe Bishop is making his way down the ramp! Bishop climbs up the steps and enters through the cage door, the new National Champion making his entrance into the Battleground knowing that his team is now down one to Team Xavier’s full strength squad. As Penny is removed from the cage she begins to argue with officials, furious that she’s been eliminated and beginning to tear the ringside area apart, it taking several seconds before she is restrained by security and dragged away. With that spectacle out of the way we return to the ring where Joe Bishop has dragged Cam up and nailed him with a flurry of right hands that take him to the cage wall where Bishop proceeds to grate Nitta’s face against the steel mesh. This isn’t the first time this has happened to Nitta but it doesn’t hurt any less as Cam feels his flesh ripped away from his skull. Content that he’s done enough grating to cover some toast with flesh Joe pulls a now split open Nitta to the centre of the ring and lifts him up with ease, Bishop flipping Nitta over and planting him to the canvas with a big body slam before dropping down on top of the busted up Cam Nitta and going for the cover.
ONE!
TWO!
TH… KICK OUT!
2:34
Alecia Matthews: Cam Nitta somehow finding the versatility to kick out despite the punishment he’s already taken in this brutal contest.
Samael Ahriman: Everyone’s been punished in this contest Alecia, we’re nearing the ten minute mark of Battleground and we’ve already seen enough damage done to put normal men in a hospital.
Across the ring Trace Demon is using the ropes to pull himself up onto his feet, his head spinning after having it slammed straight into the cage. He glances first at Mak Cross, who remains down after his own booting to the skull, blood trickling from his forehead onto the mat, and then over at Bishop who has begun dragging Nitta back up onto his feet. Trace shouts something over at Bishop who, while slightly surprised to find Trace conscious, follows order and proceeds to deliver an Irish whip, sending Cam straight at Trace Demon, the International Champion running towards Nitta, leaping up and catching him in the jaw with a Busaiku Knee Kick that takes Nitta off of his feet and crashing to the canvas in a heap. With Nitta once again laid out Trace continues to direct Bishop, this time the two men grab Cam by the arms and drag him over to the ropes. They proceed to tie Nitta’s arms up in the ring ropes and leave him there as they head after Mak Cross who is beginning to stir. Bishop grabs Cross and pulls him up onto his feet, nailing him with a right hand that sends him into the ropes, the cell wall being the only that stopping him from falling. Bishop goes to grab Mak again but Cross tries to fight back with a few choice right hands to the gut but before he can capitalise Trace Demon comes from behind, taking Mak’s feet right out from under him with a chop block to the knee.
2:02
Alecia Matthews: I certainly don’t like the looks of where this is going, not with Cam all tied up over there.
Samael Ahriman: What I’ve never understood is why someone can’t just pull themselves free, ropes aren’t that strong.
Trace Demon quickly grabs Mak’s left leg, the very one he chop blocked just a second ago, and begins to put the boots into the limb while Bishop delivers a few hard right hands to the skull to keep Mak down. With that sorted the King of Demons turns Cross over onto his back, wraps his leg around the middle rope, hooks an arm around the ankle and then places his boot in the centre of the leg, pushing it against the cage but also stretching and twisting the leg of Mak Cross out in a way it just wasn’t designed for. Cross lets out a roar of pain that seems to wake his partner up, Nitta groggily seeing the situation but unable to escape from his binds as Trace continues to try and tear a few ligaments in Mak’s leg and maybe just claim a submission in the process. For his credit Cross manages to hold on despite the pain, refusing to tap out as a single in ring official ducks down to check whether he wants to continue. As Cam tries to struggle out of his binds Joe Bishop intervenes, driving his boot into the gut of Nitta and then dropping down onto his knees beside him, making sure that Nitta gets a good look of his tag team partner’s knee and lower leg being torn apart by the rope and cell assisted leg bar, just another innovative submission hold courtesy of the King of Demons.
1:40
Alecia Matthews: Trace Demon and Joe Bishop have taken control since the elimination of Penny Shannon, and we could see the odds evened with this unique leg bar.
Samael Ahriman: In a normal match using the ropes like that would be against the rules, tonight however… well let’s just say goodbye to Mak, shall we?
Trace continues pulling back on the leg while pushing the limb into the cage at the same time, Mak desperately holding on as the clock ticks away. Joe Bishop then stands and begins nailing Cam Nitta with a series of right hands, the fan favourite unable to do anything because he’s still bound by the ring ropes. The crowd boo relentlessly as their heroes are beaten down, knowing there’s no help coming because of the steel cell that separates them. But they don’t need help from outside, not when there’s still some fight left in Cam Nitta yet because as Bishop unloads with right hands to the tied up Nitta he suddenly finds himself in a hell of lot of pain because Cam has just brought his boot up right between the legs of Bishop and nailed him with a completely legal low blow. Bishop drops like a rock and in a matter of seconds Nitta has managed to free himself from the ropes and is struggling up onto his feet, feeling the damage that’s been done, blood still dripping from his cut forehead. Nitta immediately sets his sights on Trace Demon but the King of Demons is ready for him, releasing his grip on Mak Cross who slumps to the canvas clutching his leg in pain, and heading straight for Nitta. The two explode in a flurry of rights and lefts more akin to an MMA fight than a wrestling match as both men fight through the fatigue to try and take control.
1:18
Alecia Matthews: Cam Nitta and Trace Demon, the two men who started this match out, going toe to toe once again.
Samael Ahriman: Cam’s really proving himself tonight, the kid’s got guts.
Not just guts but a mean right hand as well, Nitta managing to get the better of the exchange and backing Trace up against the ropes. Cam follows up with an Irish whip attempt but Trace quickly turns it round, sending Nitta straight across the ring. Nitta rebounds and Trace charges forwards, only for Cam to leap up and attempt to pull off another head-scissors DDT. Trace gets a grip of Nitta and spins him round in something resembling a strange dance before flipping Nitta off, Cam managing to flip out and land on his feet, Nitta carrying the momentum through into a run and that leads him to delivering a running hurricanrana to a slowly rising Bishop that cuts him down immediately. As Cam rises up he finds Trace Demon coming in with an attempt a big boot straight to the skull but Nitta manages to hook the leg as it rises and then in a display of surprising strength manages to lift Trace up, spin him around and then deliver a powerbomb straight into the cage wall. Trace collapses to the canvas and Nitta follows, exhausted. All four men are down and the clocks still ticking.
0:45
Alecia Matthews: Everyone is down and there’s less than a minute to go before the third member of Team Xavier makes their entrance.
Samael Ahriman: Which would put Team Demon at a numbers disadvantage for the first time here tonight.
The clock keeps ticking with all four men down and nobody quick to rise. Nitta is exhausted, Bishop took a nasty bump from the hurricanrana and Trace and Mak are clutching their back and knee respectively as they try to push through the pain. Bishop is the first to start to rise, using the ropes to start to drag himself up. Meanwhile across the ring Mak attempts to do the same, knowing what Cam did to save him and wanting to do the same. Slowly they make their way up at the same moment, Bishop striking first as he charges at Mak, dropping down low and taking him right off of his feet with a low dropkick to the knee that garners a cry of pain. Bishop tries to capitalise immediately, hooking the injured leg and turning Mak Cross over with a leglock and leaning back, Cross once again in a difficult position as he tries desperately to hold on. He doesn’t have to hold on long though, because the cavalry isn’t on it’s way… it’s here.
0:00
Alecia Matthews: It’s now three on two for Team Xavier and with just one entrant left for each we’re nearing the crux of this match.
Samael Ahriman: And it’s only going to get more brutal and hard hitting.
Indeed, this is a man who personifies hard hitting – the now former National Champion Devilkiller. The moment Bishop sees the big man coming he lets go of Mak Cross’s leg, allowing Cross to roll away in pain, and readies himself for what’s to come. Devilkiller takes his time, lumbering down the ramp and pushing the officials out of the way, opening the door himself and entering the ring to confront the man who ended his near-record setting title reign. Bishop is ready and doesn’t waste any time, going after Devilkiller the moment he enters the ring with clubbing blows to the back. Devilkiller is taken off guard but fights back, pushing Bishop away with impressive strength, the smaller man rolling through and charging right after Devilkiller only to receive a boot to the face for his trouble. Bishop is sent down to his knees where Devilkiller grabs him by the back of his head, yanking him up and then throwing him full force into the cage wall, the crowd going mad at this insane display of brute strength. That doesn’t last long though as Trace Demon, now on his feet, hits a stiff elbow to the back of Devilkiller’s head. A second elbow follows, this time to the face of the big man that sends him staggering backwards. Trace goes to run the ropes, rebounds and then returns… only to be taken out by a leaping dropkick by Cam Nitta!
2:27
Alecia Matthews: Cam Nitta comes out of nowhere with that dropkick, Team Xavier’s in firm control now.
Samael Ahriman: I wouldn’t want to be Trace Demon at this point.
Indeed a downed Demon has big problems as Cam Nitta recovers, having hit the dropkick out of desperation. Devilkiller on the other hand is more than ready to do some damage, grabbing Trace by the head and dragging the International Champion up onto his feet. He drives his forearm straight across the back of Demon and then slowly lifts him up overhead with a Gorilla Press, showing the strength that has gotten him this far. The badly named former National Champion turns to the cell wall and promptly throws Trace at it, the King of Demons hitting the cage back first and then slumping down behind the ropes, his back against the cage. Nitta has an idea and draws Devilkiller over him, getting the big man to provide a momentum building Irish whip straight towards Trace, Nitta using the momentum to connect with a high velocity baseball slide right into the ribs of Demon, slamming him against the cell wall in the process. Devilkiller is about to continue the attack when Nitta points out Joe Bishop who is slowly trying to make it to his feet. Not about to let the man who took his title get a seconds respite Devilkiller heads straight for him but as he goes to grab him Bishop literally crawls through Devilkiller’s legs and kicks him clean in the ass, pushing him away.
1:55
Alecia Matthews: Well that’s just a humiliating way of countering.
Samael Ahriman: Funny though, can’t beat a big guy getting a literal kick in the ass.
Joe Bishop scrambles onto his feet just in time to counter a right hand from Cam Nitta with one of his own, Bishop grabbing Nitta and delivering an Irish whip that leads to him accidentally elbowing Mak Cross, who was trying to use the ropes to pull himself up to his feet, straight in the head and into a powerslam. Bishop doesn’t get a chance to make the pin as Devilkiller grabs him by the back of the head and yanks him up, these two men now being the only two left standing. Devilkiller wraps a hand around Bishop’s throat and lifts him up, intent on delivering a big chokeslam only for Bishop to slip out back and then roll Devilkiller up, using his own weight against him as the official slides in to make the count…

1:32
Christa Adina: Devilkiller has been eliminated!
Alecia Matthews: Devilkiller’s gone, Joe Bishop has evened the odds in a most anti-climactic fashion.
Samael Ahriman: First he loses the National Championship and now this, it’s almost like he didn’t even bother showing up.
Devilkiller can’t believe what’s just happened, and neither can anybody else in the ring or the crowd. He gets to his feet as the officials open up the door, expecting him to make a quick exit but rather he turns to face Joe Bishop and finds him smirking, having pinned Devilkiller twice in one night. That’s the final straw for the big man who nails Bishop clean in the face with a vicious boot, knocking him straight on his ass. The official tries to stop him, to get him to leave, but Devilkiller isn’t having any of it and instead hauls Bishop up and lifts him up onto his back, spinning him around and then planting him head first with the Devil’s Coffin. Devilkiller leaves Bishop lying there and then heads towards the cage door but stops when he sees Nitta getting to his feet, a look of fury coming across his face. He grabs his own tag team partner, lifts him up onto his back and then plants him head first with a second Devil’s Coffin, silencing the crowd as Devilkiller has just knocked out both Joe Bishop and his own partner Cam Nitta. The officials finally get him out of the ring which is when we realize that Mak Cross has seen all of this but rather than help his partner he’s stayed silent until Devilkiller is out of the cell and then pulls himself across the ring and makes the cover on an unconscious Joe Bishop.

1:04
Christa Adina: Joe Bishop has been eliminated!
Alecia Matthews: And just like that Team Demon has lost the advantage one again.
Samael Ahriman: But Devilkiller basically took Cam Nitta out of the match at the same time, Mak’s the only man… well, he isn’t even standing with that leg.
Indeed Mak Cross is suffering and as officials enter the cell to get Joe Bishop out he rolls away, leaning against the cell wall to check on it. He’s got some time, Cam Nitta is definitely knocked out and Trace Demon is only just stirring after his own collisions with the cell wall. The clock falls below a minute and Mak realizes that if he wants to guarantee his team victory all he has to do is capitalise on the situation and eliminate Trace Demon. Sure that’s harder than it sounds but he’s got the opportunity and he needs to take it. Mak uses the ropes to pull himself up and slowly limps over to Trace, pulls him away from the cell wall and then seats him in the centre of the ring, Mak taking a few steps back and then charging forward, ignoring the shooting pain in his leg and driving his knee straight into the skull of the King of Demons, nailing him with the Boma Ye! Trace drops onto his back and Mak quickly drags himself on top of him for the cover.

THR… KICK OUT!
But no! Trace Demon kicks out, Mak rolling off of him just as the clock ticks down those final few seconds…
0:00
Alecia Matthews: Trace somehow manages to kick out, and here comes the final member of his team.
Samael Ahriman: And we all know who this is, fresh from a successful return over Cam Nitta earlier tonight, service is in session.
Of course they’re talking about the one and only Reverend Shadow, the returning WFWF legend making his way out onto the ramp amidst a smoke and lights show that’d make even the biggest crushed ice fan proud. Shadow takes his time heading down the ramp but it only takes a few seconds to realize he’s not come along – he’s brought a baseball bat along for the ride. The officials attempt to stop him taking it into the cell but all he has to do is point it in their direction and they move out of the way, letting him ascend the steps and climb inside the steel cell, trapping everyone inside with a baseball bat wielding Reverend right out of your nightmares. Mak Cross struggles up onto his feet, wanting to meet Shadow head on but strangely Shadow pushes the tip of the bat into Mak’s chest, basically telling him to back down. Mak slaps the bat away which isn’t the smartest of moves at Shadow drills the bat straight into the ribs of the fan favourite.
2:40
Alecia Matthews: As if this match couldn’t get any more brutal Reverend Shadow has brought a weapon into play.
Samael Ahriman: Dude should be playing for the majors with a swing like that.
Mak doubles over, clutching what very well may be broken ribs after that vicious strike. Shadow raises the bat up and then brings it straight down across the back of the Team Xavier man, sending Cross dropping down onto his knees, his entire body in pain. Shadow backs up, looks at Cross and shakes his head at him before giving one final swing and slamming the bat straight into the forehead of Mak Cross, reopening his cut and sending blood streaming down his face and all over the canvas as Mak hits the mat like a rock. Shadow drops the bat and then goes for the cover.

2:11
Christa Adina: Mak Cross is eliminated!
Alecia Matthews: Those shots just looked absolutely brutal, there was no kicking out from those.
Samael Ahriman: Mak Cross might have a serious concussion but more importantly Cam Nitta has two minutes stuck in that ring with Reverend Shadow and Trace Demon, two of the most dangerous men ever to step foot in the WFWF.
The crowd have just realized that very fact and they’re making their displeasure over it very clear. Inside the ring the officials are helping Mak Cross out while Reverend Shadow walks over to Trace and helps him up onto his feet, the two men looking at each other for a moment before they both eerily stare at Cam Nitta who is just beginning to stir from Devilkiller’s Devil’s Coffin. Trace begins directing Shadow, the two men heading for Nitta, grabbing him by one arm each and dragging him over to the cell wall, pushing him up against the ropes and placing his head between them. Trace gets first dibs, pushing his foot against the throat of Nitta and beginning to push it against the cage wall, Cam immediately waking up but not to a pleasant feeling as he feels his windpipe trapped between Trace’s boot and the mesh steel wall of the Battleground that has already caused so much pain tonight. With Trace’s foot pushing on his throat Reverend Shadow throws the bat to the side and begins to put the boots into the mid-section of Nitta who can do little but take the punishment that is being inflicted and try to survive for just over another minute and a half.
1:39
Alecia Matthews: Cam Nitta is being torn apart in there by two rabid dogs, how can anyone expect him to survive this?
Samael Ahriman: He’s just got to hold on and then Yukio Blaze will make his grand return… we hope.
Well this is going to be a long minute and a half if Trace and Reverend Shadow have their way. They finally relent on the choking / booting combo but only so Shadow can grab Nitta and drag him into the centre of the ring, the pair pushing him down into a front chancery, hooking one arm each and then lifting him up with a double suplex lift. Instead of delivering a suplex though they hang him up there, not needing to say a word to each other before both of them simply let him go and allow Nitta to fall straight down, landing awkwardly on his head and shoulders and no, we’re not talking the shampoo, we’re talking his damn head. The official isn’t happy about the move but there’s little he can do about it as Trace and Shadow just seem to be savouring the moment of watching Cam writhe on the canvas in pain. They both look up at the clock and decide that they want to actually eliminate Nitta before Yukio makes his potential return, Trace holding his arm out and letting Reverend Shadow do the honours. Shadow hooks his hands around the head of Nitta and slowly drags him up onto his feet before pulling him into another front chancery, only this time he grabs the tights and pulls Nitta up before planting him head first into the canvas with the Unholy Rapture! Nitta goes limp and Shadow rolls him over, going for the cover and his second elimination in as many minutes.

THR… KICK OUT!
1:12
Alecia Matthews: I can’t believe Cam just kicked out of that, he’s been in this match since the very start and he refuses to go down.
Samael Ahriman: He’s making himself a star, let’s just hope that tonight ends the right way for this kid.
Reverend Shadow is shocked that Nitta managed to kick out and Trace Demon isn’t exactly happy about it. He tells Shadow to get out of the way and let him handle this and that’s reluctantly what Shadow does, Trace dragging the limp Cam Nitta up onto his feet, pulling him into a front chancery and hooking the arm. He goes for the suplex lift and at the very peak of the lift Trace flips the fan favourite over and then drops him straight down across his knees, connecting with the always painful D.I.E.D! The crowd burst into a chorus of boos as Cam Nitta against slumps to the canvas and this time it’s Trace’s turn to go for a pinfall.

THR… KICK OUT!
1:00
Alecia Matthews: And again Cam kicks out, he’s just not going down!
Samael Ahriman: He’s playing a dangerous game, but if Team Xavier can somehow win this match it’ll all be down to Cam’s performance here tonight.
Trace Demon and Reverend Shadow are shocked that Cam is still fighting but the look on their faces tells us they don’t intend for him to be fighting much longer. Trace drags Nitta up onto his feet and the two men grab an arm each, delivering a strong Irish whip to the ropes. Nitta rebounds and on the return Trace and Shadow grab him and throw him up into the air, clearly looking for some big move here but the only big move turns out to be courtesy of Cam Nitta who on the fall back down hooks his arms around the heads of Trace and Shadow and delivers a double DDT, laying both men out! All three men lay there inside the cell, none of them moving after that sudden counter. Yet the clock keeps ticking away.
0:45… 0:40… 0:35
Reverend Shadow begins to stir, being the freshest man and having taken the least amount of punishment. Slowly he works his way up.
0:30… 0:25… 0:20
He reaches his feet and grabs hold of Trace, dragging him over to the turnbuckle and propping his leader up, trying to wake him up, not noticing that Cam Nitta is stirring in the centre of the ring.
0:15… 0:10… 0:05
And just as he notices.
0:00
Alecia Matthews: Here comes Yukio!
Samael Ahriman: This is the moment everybody has been… wait, what happened to the lights?
Yes indeed, the lights in the arena have suddenly shut off, plunging everything into total darkness. A few seconds tick by without any theme music, without any light, without anything much at all. And then they suddenly turn back on and standing there in the centre of the ring is the one and only Yukio Blaze, with Shadow’s baseball bat in hand. The door to the cage is wide open and every single official on the outside is laid out, confusing the hell out of the fans. Reverend Shadow sees Yukio and charges him only for the returning Random Hero to drill him with the baseball bat straight to the ribs, followed up by a second cracking blow to the back of Shadow’s head that drops him in one. Next Yukio throws the bat away and dives at the still out of it Trace Demon, unloading with a series of vicious right hands that quickly split the King of Demons open and leaves him bleeding as Yukio just drills him with blow after blow. The official inside the ring has no idea what to do as Yukio drags Trace to his feet and then drop him head first onto the baseball bat with a DDT. With Trace down Yukio turns his attention back to Reverend Shadow, dragging him up onto his feet, hooking his arm across Shadow’s body and then dropping him with the Trail Blazer!
Alecia Matthews: Yukio Blaze is back and in some style, he’s just taking everybody out, including the officials.
Samael Ahriman: Maybe Trace really did break Yukio’s mind last month.
Yukio Blaze looks at Cam Nitta who during all of this has been standing in the corner, leaning against the turnbuckle for stability, watching Yukio’s new attitude with surprise. Blaze simply points at Reverend Shadow, signalling Nitta to pin him, and then turns his back on Nitta, Shadow and even Trace before just walking straight out of the wide open cell door, walking down the steps and heading right back up the ramp. Within seconds Yukio Blaze has disappeared with no explanation of why. Cam is looking at the official trying to work out how in the world he’s just been left on his own when the fourth member of Team Xavier was just here but he doesn’t have long to waste as he sees Shadow and dives on top of him, going for the cover.

Christa Adina: Reverend Shadow has been eliminated. Also, by the order of the official, Yukio Blaze has been eliminated by leaving the cell and the ringside area!
Alecia Matthews: Wait, Reverend Shadow and Yukio Blaze have both been eliminated, that means it’s down to…
Samael Ahriman: The two men we started out with, Trace Demon and Cam Nitta.
Cam realizes this, that he’s just one pinfall away from winning the match for Team Xavier. He slowly makes his way over to Trace, hooking his hands around the head of the International Champion and dragging him up onto his feet. Nitta pulls him over to the centre of the ring and pushes Trace’s head down between his legs before gripping the waist. Nitta takes a deep breath and suddenly flips over, driving Trace Demon back first into the canvas with the C4! The crowd go crazy as Nitta connects with one of his biggest moves, the fan favourite crawling on top of Trace for the cover…

THRE… KICK OUT!
Alecia Matthews: No pinfall in this match has come closer than that!
Samael Ahriman: Come on Cam, just finish him off!
Cam is so close that he can damn well taste it. He looks high up at the cell and decides what he has to do, slowly making his way to his feet and staggering over to the cell wall. Once there he begins the climb up, first using the ropes and then the mesh wall as he slowly ascends to near the top of the thirty foot cell. He looks down at Trace Demon, breathing deeply as he tries to keep his balance and then he leaps! Cam flies through the air, twisting his body as he comes crashing down right on top of Trace Demon with the Claymore! Cam Nitta hits the Claymore! Cam rolls around clutching his own back in pain from the move. He goes to sit up, is about to pull himself on top of Trace Demon and make the cover to end this match when…
BOOM!
Alecia Matthews: My god!
Samael Ahriman: Did he… was that a…
Reverend Shadow, eliminated but not removed thanks to Yukio taking out all the outside officials, suddenly blows a fireball right into the face of Cam Nitta, shocking everybody as Nitta screams out in pain! Nitta rolls on the floor in agony as his face burns, Shadow using the opportunity to slap Trace about and wake him up, the King of Demons coming to but not entirely being there. Shadow points at the writhing Nitta, screaming at him to finish this and Trace takes notice, weakly telling Shadow to get Nitta up. Despite the officials arguments that Shadow needs to leave there’s nothing he can really do as Trace Demon struggles onto his feet and Reverend Shadow lifts Cam onto his. Once they’re both up Shadow pushes Cam at Trace who delivers a boot to the gut and doubles Nitta over, the King of Demons double underhooking the arms. In one fluid motion Trace lifts Nitta up, flips him over and then plants him to the canvas with the Demonstration of Hell! Trace can barely believe he pulled that off as he lies there, only just managing to roll over and drape an arm over Nitta as the official reluctantly counts the pin.

Alecia Matthews: Not this way!
Samael Ahriman: It’s over… it’s actually over, Trace Demon… Trace Demon wins.
Christa Adina: And your winners, Trace Demon, Reverend Shadow, Joe Bishop and Penny Shannon… Team Demon!
The crowd can’t believe what’s just happened as Trace rolls off of Cam looking like he’s just… well like he’s just won the entire damned company. The crowd are full on throwing rubbish at the cell as Trace Demon sits up, screaming at the ceiling while Reverend Shadow simply looks at him and then over at Cam Nitta. Tonight he’s done his job, he’s guaranteed Trace Demon has control of this company. But at what price for the rest of the WFWF?

"Slip Out" by Beck resonates throughout the arena as from behind the curtain comes the number one dontender for the WFWF Championship.Christa Adina: The following match is scheduled for one fall and it is for the WFWF Championship. First, the challenger. From Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, weighing in at two hundred and fourty pounds, he is Shawn Malakai. Samael Ahriman: It has been a long, hard road for Shawn Malakai. He has been wrestling for almost 12 years and he is, after all of this time, finally getting a shot at the most prestigious title in the entire wrestling world. I hope he makes the best of it. Malakai, completely alone for the first time in months, walks down to the ring, clapping the hands of a few fans. He pulls himself into the ring, raising his arm.The arena lights fall as the opening The Offspring's "Come Out and Play" surround the arena. Strobe lights of red and violet cover the ring as smoke begins to surround the entrance way. Scarlett comes walking through the entrance curtain with her arms stretched. She pauses for a moment, bathing herself in haze of red and violet. Just a short moment later, Penny Shannon comes through and stands behind Scarlett. Blinks of white light sprinkle around the arena as Scarlett makes the walk down to the ring. Grabbing the bottom rope, Scarlett slingshots herself into the ring, swooping right between the bottom and middle rope. Scarlett rises to her feet and holds up the WFWF World Championship belt as the lights fade back.Shawn Malakai charges Scarlett Quinn rushes over- taking to the air as she pounces Malakai with clubbing blows. Malakai pushes Scarlett off and just as she's about the charge back into the attack, Malakai pushes forward and clips her off with a big boot. The audience gasps with a major, "Ouuuuuuuuuuuwwwww!" as Malakai drops to the mat and hooks the leg for a cover.Samael Ahriman: That's it! Alecia Matthews: Wanna bet? 1...

Scarlett Quinn kicks out and crawls towards the ropes, where Penny's waiting for her with an open arm. But Malakai is quick to his feet now as he grabs Scarlett by the back of the trunks and lifts her up, holding the Princess of Wrestling a good couple feet off the canvas. Scarlett's arms flop about as she tries to wriggle out of Malakai's hold. Malakai picks up a handful of hair now and lifts Scarlett even higher off the mat. From the position, he begins spinning around until he tosses Scarlett into the corner, where she collides violently into the second turnbuckle. Malakai takes Scarlett's arm and drags her to the middle of the ring.

Scarlett kicks out
Shawn Malakai grabs a handful of hair again and sets Scarlett up to her feet. He knocks her first with a forearm across the jaw and lifts her up for the sidewalk slam, but Scarlett rolls herself over Shawn Malakai's arm and positions herself on his back, locking in a sleeper hold in complete despretation. Malakai reaches his arms up, grabbing Scarlett by the side of her head. Thinking quickly, Scarlett uses her positioning and start attacking the base of Malakai's neck with elbow thrusts, striking hard as the giant screams out. Scarlett continues the elbow shots, eventually getting Shawn Malakai down to one knee, reaching over, Scarleet works her arm around Malakai's neck and forces him down with a variation of a reverse DDT. Scarlett covers the elbow.

Shawn Malakai kicks out and the Princess of Wrestling just snaps. She starts off with a series of mean stomps across his chest and shoulders before sinking down with a blatant chokehold. Grabbing the back of Scarlett's hand, Shawn Malakai easily forces her hands away, but this doesn't phase the Princess of Wrestling, as she strikes Malakai's arms away, rises to her feet and snaps back with an albow drop across his neck.
Scarlett goes for the cover again.

Shawn Malakai grabs Scarlett in his arms, rolls over and rises to his feet, holding Scarlett up in his arms now as he spikes her with a rib-breaker, but before he can capitalizes, Scarlett starts rolling over to the edge of the ring, where Penny waits for her- quickly, grabbing her by the waist and rolling her to safety in the outside.Alecia Matthews: Quick save from the Velocity Grrrl Samael Ahriman: But is it going to be enough? Alecia Matthews: You just can't leave things alone, can you? Malakai rolls to the outside, following after Penny and Scarlett and as the Princess of Wrestling takes sips from a bottle of water. Penny storms up to Malakai, pushing her him off. Not in the mood to deal with the Velocity Grrrl's antics, Malakai grabs Penny by the shirt and tosses her into the security rail and reaches after Scarlett, who counters back by spitting a mist of water into his eyes.
Shawn Malakai stumbles back a couple steps as Scarlett takes to the apron now. The Princess of Wrestling charges forward, taking air with a flying crossbody. But Shawn Malakai catches her and sends her flying into the ringpost with a modified powerbomb. In a sprialing fall, the Princess of Wrestling crashes unceremoniously into the arena floor. The Velocity Grrrl starts to crawl towards Scarlett, but Shawn Malakai once again cuts her off with a hard stomp across her back, stopping her right in her tracks. Samael Ahriman: I don't think I've ever seen this level of viciousness from Shawn Malakai before. Alecia Matthews: And to think, that same attitude would have probably made a World Champion years ago. The referee slips out of the ring now, trying to create some distance between Scarlett and Shawn Malakai. He storms right up to Malakai, trying to enforce some level of control back into this match. Behind him, the Princess of Wrestling stumbles back to her feet and comes charging back, bumping the referee into Shawn Malakai. As to be expected, the referee is completely knocked out beyond repair and with that, Scarlett wastes no time in picking up a steel chair and making the charge to Shawn Malakai. Makalai takes her straight on with a hard forearm, shoving the steel into her face. A close up reveals the crimson mask decorated across Scarlett's face as Shawn Malakai grabs her by the hair and wedges her in for a powerbomb, turning his attention now into the announce table.Alecia Matthews: Don't do it, man! A low blow from Penny Shannon makes the save!Alecia Matthews: Thank god! Shawn Malakai stumbles back, letting go of Scarlett who drops on top well-secured announce table. Taking the steel chair, Penny smashes it across Shawm Malakai's back, pushing him against the frame of the table. By now, both Alecia Matthews and Samael Ahriman have had the presence of mind to abandon their posts and back away from the table. Scarlett now had Malakai locked into a front face lock and began trying reel him in as Penny forces him up by the legs. It takes some effort, but both girls manage to secure Malakai on top of the announce table and with that, the Princess of Wrestling sets her sights to the top rope. Hopping off the announce table, Scarlett gazes up as she procedes to make her way to the top rope.Samael Ahriman: What's she doing now?! Alecia Matthews: Girl, don't do it! Don't do it! Eventually, Scarlett manages to make it to the top rope, taking the extra time to steady herself as she prepares for her attack just as Shawn Malakai has started to come to. The Giant pushes Penny off with a hard kick across the chest as he makes it to his feet now, rushing up the apron and knocking Scarlett with a punch across the face. Scarlett grabs Malakai by the head and fights back with a headbutt, but Shawn Malakai grabs a handful of Scarlett's top and with that, hurls her off the top-rope, sending her crashing head-first through the announce table!Alecia Matthews: OH MY ING GOD! Samael Ahriman: My God, I think he killed her! The crowd has risen to their feet, collectively chanting “Holy Sh*t” in unison! Shawn Malakai watches from a distance as Penny scrambles to Scarlett's side, screaming at the time keeper to call the match off. Hopping off the apron, Shawn Malakai clips Penny in the back of the head and tosses her over the security rail. He picks up the Princess of Wrestling and shoves her back into the ring, following after her, hooking the leg for a cover.

The count was made by the crowd as the referee has yet to come to from such a weak assault earlier in the match, when just at that moment, Xavier Pierce, a man recently unseated, makes the run into the ring, slipping beneath the bottom rope as he races to Shawn Malakai, driving his palm into the canvass for his three count.Alecia Matthews: No, it can't end like this! 1..

3...The ref calls for the bell.Christa Adina: Here is your winner and the NEW WFWF CHAMPION, SHAWN MALAKAI. Alecia Matthews: Son of a bitch! Xavier Pierce grabs the WFWF World Heavyweight Championship belt from the time keeper's hands. “Slip Out” now resounds across the arena as Xavier Pierce hands Shawn Malakai his WFWF World Heavyweight Championship. Still on sunk on his knees, just before Scarlett, Shawn Malakai takes the belt into his arms and holds in close; closing his eyes to really savor the moment. Xavier Pierce takes Malakai's arm and raises in victory as our new WFWF World Heavyweight Champion makes it to his feet, holding his new found gold. The fans are going nuts. They are chanting this mans name. Fireworks go off. Confetti. The whole ten yards.Samael Ahriman: This was hardly a childhood dream for Malakai. A boy born and raised in Pittsburgh, so many hardships in his life...such a painful life. He has certainly had his ups and downs here in the WFWF, but he has finally reached the pinnacle of this company. Shawn Malakai is the WFWF Champion. “Seizure of Power” cuts off the celebration as Trace Demon, International Championship in hand, starts to make his way ringside with a mic in hand.Alecia Matthews: Hold on, I think the boss has something to say about this! Trace Demon: You pathetic bastard, what the hell do you think your doing? The music cuts off as Trace takes the steps to the apron now. Trace Demon: Are you that delusional to think that you still have that kind of power in my company? Xavier, you are such a fool. I cannot tell you how the world will look at this match. In theory, yes, Shawn Malakai should be the WFWF Champion. Perhaps that is how he will be looked upon in the future...but just that. Should have been. Xavier, you have no power in this company anymore. Get the hell out of my ring. I am restarting this match. And just before Malakai and Pierce can even follow that up, the Velocity Grrrl stormed into the ring behind them, taking Malakai out with a chair shot across the back. Xavier Pierce makes the run towards Penny, but Trace clips him off by striking him in the back of the head with a microphone.
Having disposed of Shawn Malakai for the meantime, Penny takes the steel chair and sets up n the middle of the ring. Trace takes the cue and places Xavier Pierce's head against the seat of the chair. Penny hops onto the top rope and takes air with the Liberty Cap, smashing Xavier Pierce's face into the steel, just obliterating the steel on impact!Samael Ahriman: Holy crap! Alecia Matthews: And I do believe this the last we're ever going to see of Xavier Pierce. Trace tosses Xaveir Pierce out of the ring and calls for the bell. Penny cradles Scarlett in her arms and pushes her over Shawn Malakai, covering him for the pin attempt; Trace making the count now.

Shawn Malakai kicks out!
Another official has made it into the ring as Trace and Penny clear out. Scarlett barely makes it to her feet as she walks over to Malakai and fires a series of stomps across his chest. Working behind him, Scarlett locks the head with the McGurk lock! Wrenching away, she drives elbow after elbow into Shawn Malakai's ribs. Malakai now, trying to force his way out, but Scarlett locks him in place with her legs and continues her assault. The referee jumps in, pries Scarlett away and calls for the bell. Christa Adina: Here is your winner and the NEW...or still...or...here is your WFWF Champion, Scarlett Quinn. Scarlett remains on the canvass, lying on her back as Penny comes rushing over with the WFWF World Heavyweight Championship as “Come Out And Play” hits the arena again.
Holding Scarlett by the shoulder, Penny helps up the Princess of Wrestling an raises her arm in the air. Scarltt holds herself in place for a moment before ultimately falling into Penny's arms. From behind the curtain comes the rest of Team Trace. Bishop. Rev.Alecia Matthews: This could be bad. Both men circle the wagons, eyeing up Malakai, who is also being surrounded by Trace, Shannon and Quinn. Malakai pulls himself up into the corner and looks around, seeing that it is five against one. He smirks. He screams bring it. As all of the men and women begin to take their steps, "Horseshoes and Hand Grenades" resonates throughout the PA system. Everyone stops dead in their tracks and looks up at the stage. Assembled is Thunder, still with wear and tear, standing side by side with David Williams, Cam Nitta and Mak Cross.Samael Ahriman: Time to even up the odds, motherf*ckers. The headset clicks again as portions of Team Xavier/Malakai make their way down to the ring to huge fanfare, Samael going around the outside with them. All of the men enter the ring and an all out brawl ensues.
Note that every person is exhibiting effects from their respective matches tonight, the War Games participants the worst, but are fighting valiantly for their own causes.Alecia Matthews: WAR GAMES ROUND THREE. DROP THE CAGE. There is absolutely no way of knowing who is fighting who. There are 12 people in the ring right now and it is absolute chaos. It seems like Thunder and Williams are fighting off the advances of Scarlett and Shannon, who are trying to get at Malakai. Bishop is holding his own against Samael, Trace and Rev are making quick work of Nitta and Bishop.
"Over and Under" resonates as Ace Bennett comes out to the ring now, the fans on their feet, trying to see all of the action. And with the arrival of Bennett, the flood gates have been opened. Running down to the ring....Demento, Khan, Stone, Carter, Andrews, Garrett...pretty much the entire roster sans a few have made their way out to the ring, and it has gone from Team Xavier versus Team Trace to an all out brawl, all people for themselves.
The clear strong man is Rev at the moment, going after everying. Thunder took a swing at him, down. Carter, down. Andrews, down.Alecia Matthews: Rev looking strong. Trace has dumped Williams over the ropes, eliminating him from the equation. Carter and Andrews are now going at it, dumping each other over the ropes and fighting outside the ring. Stone and Khan go toe to toe, Stone tries to give Khan a kick but Khan avoids it, dumping Stone out of the ring and going after him.
Demento and Garrett are making a huge go in the center of the ring though, the fans going loco. Demento, the recent new good guy, taking on the new bad guy. Both men trying to get the upper hand, but a double clothesline at the same time take themselves out of this battle.
It is getting ugly, Xavier just getting all kinds of pounded by Trace as Trace sends the former CEO off to another world, chucking him so far out of the ring it is ridiculous. Trace follows, getting a sick kick out of taking out Xavier.
Shannon and Mak are having yet another faceoff, this one lasting longer than their last match. Mak is still hesitant, but throwing some hard punches her way, but she is taking them like a champ, dishing out exactly what she was recieving. Shannon goes for her finisher, but Mak wriggles out and rolls away, living to fight another day. Shannon has other ideas, chasing him down.
Rev has somehow disappeared in the commotion, who knows where the hell he went. Probably off to a shrine to a pink hat. Or something. Weird cat that guy.
Ahriman and Bennett picked up where they left off, duking it out.Alecia Matthews: Ugh. Boys. ...it got bad for Sam. Bennett ENDED him with a nasty superkick. Those teeth Bennett lost? Yeah...Sam will PROBABLY not make commentary next show. Teeth like chicklets, they are everywhere. Bennett surveys the chaos, and decides that this is enough and with a dead Sam, he rolls out himself, avoiding interaction with any other Team Malakai members.
Scarlett makes quick work of Nitta, sending the little asian man flying over the top rope. Malakai comes up behind her and turns Scarlett around, towering over her. Malakai, having just lost everything, is absolutely seething. Malakai takes a shot at her, Scarlett dodges and throws a hard elbow. To the nuts. Death. Malakai goes down, but even on his knees he is just the same height as the WFWF Champion. She throws another punch, Malakai blocks it, and continues to block punches until he is able to get to his feet again. Thunder makes a charge but Scarlett uses all of her power to back body drop Thunder over the top rope and onto the floor. Malakai and Scarlett tie up and then BAM. From out of no where, Malakai and Scarlett are unceremoniously dumped over the top rope with a nasty double clothesline. The fans stare in awe at the last man standing. Joe Bishop stands in the middle of the ring, with all of the title belts just sitting in the center of the ring. He looks around, smiling a cocky ass smile. He raises his WFWF National Championship up in the air, screaming NOW. He then grabs Trace Demons WFWF International Championship which he left behind, looking at it in his other hand, smiling even bigger, screaming NEXT. He drops both belts though, for the ultimate prize. He picks up the WFWF Championship and raises it high up in the air.Alecia Matthews: Of all of the carnage tonight...of everything that happened tonight. The battles. War Games. A new WFWF Champion. That champion being told he was not the champion and then losing the rematch...or whatever it was. Just an utterly confusing night. But this was proof that this is the start to Super Brawl, as we are now on our way to Scars and Stripes. This fight was not a precursor to it but damn...it makes the possibilities for who wins it endless. Or does it? The most unlikely of men stands tall in the ring, WFWF Championship in hand. Is it a sign? Is Joe Bishop the true, real deal? Team Trace reigned supreme here tonight, right down to the very end, this skirmish leaving carnage and bodies in its wake, and a Team Trace member reigning supreme, with the WFWF Championship in their hand. It was not the person Trace Demon expected though, I can assure you that. But hot damn...Joe Bishop...jeez. This brawl, and after War Games...Joe Bishop standing tall. Look out, WFWF. I think we have our early first Scars and Stripes favorite. Matthews signing off. Goodnight everyone...wow. Fade to black.

...I just noticed a problem with the word choke for whatever reason. I hope that someone knows how to ing fix that because I am clueless. Well here are the results. They are long, but they are pretty cool I must say. I must give a huge thanks to Ace, Constantine, Garrett, Demento, Mike, Bishop and Trace for making these awesome results so ing awesome. I apologize there was such a wait. I still will not say who, or why, but I hope that this at least lives up to all of your expectations. I tried to make the ending fight as even as possible, and after getting the OK from those who were in it, I made sure everyone got some action as this was not intended to be a match, but rather a precursor to Scars and Stripes, which I can now say is definitely our next PPV. So I hope you enjoy these guys. Haha.

That got stickied quickly. Perfect timing (well not exactly, but you know what I mean) as far as I'm concerned will give me something to read over the course of the five hour car journey I've got coming up. Glad to see that the majority seem to have handed in eventually and we can forget about the last few days.

But seriously, great job to everyone who contributed to these results and made this a great PPV despite the delay. Glad to see some new blood get over on the show.

Yeah. I mean us old guys had to have our moments, but I think this show...all of the writers did a hell of a job putting everyone over. I think that even the people who did not win their matches still came out looking strong which is hard to do let alone for every match. So I liked that.

The results were great, and I want to give a shout out to Constantine for writing my match. Obviously, I would have if I had time, but I have other projects that actually net me something, where this is for fun. So him doing such a great Job, was a solid move for me, because I got to enjoy a great match. Thanks man.
Also the two main events were amazing...yea, I said it. xD
