I am hoping the ricin will be for Skyler and/or Marie. I hate them both with a passion.

I think Walt is coming to kill nazis for money, meth and the pleasure of killing Jesse himself. And the ricin is for a lovely family dinner. He's pure evil.

I can see the rest happening. Problem is there's nobody left to root for. I like Jesse but he's really been a lost cause since season 4.

It's like they shoehorned in every possible attempt for it to be 'edgy'. I really don't buy that Skylar would try to kill Walt after having his back the whole time, nor do I buy that Walt Jr would call the cops on his dad. Am I also supposed to believe that Heisenberg, the smartest guy in the room, wasn't able to reason with an inbred Neo Nazi in order to save his brother-in-law's life? As far as Skylar knew Walt had just killed Hank. There's no way she is now going along with Walt's plans knowing he had just killed their brother-in-law. I didn't find Walter Jr calling the cops on his dad all that surprising, Walt and Skylar were just fighting on the floor and after hearing the truth about his dad Walter Jr is clearly going to take his mother's side. But what made no sense to me was Walt ordering for Jesse to be killed? Are they serious? That goes completely against the whole point of Walt's character, who had just realized how bad a decision it was to kill Jesse in the last episode. I thought it was completely shoddy writing, this character who we have gotten inside the head of for the last 5 season and he did a complete u-turn. The characters didn't act like themselves in any of the scenes and none of the plot of the episode fitted in with where the story seemed to be heading up until this point. I think Walt has some grand scheme in mind to go save Jesse in those flash forward scenes. EDIT: oh I also forgot to mention how much I hated Todd saving Jesse. That, "wait we should spare him for information" cliche was done to death in the 80's. I agree with you here, I thought it was a really cheesy but I don't know how else they could have saved Jesse at that point. Not trying to start an argument at all, just giving my feedback on some points you made.

haha, I welcome the feedback. as soon as the episode ended I expected to see a flood of hate and criticism and yet here it is as the highest rated episode of breaking bad on imdb.
I think for Skylar to come to the conclusion that Walt killed Hank is a REAL stretch. Not totally out of the realm of possibility, I guess I'd buy it.
As for Jesse though, I can't see any way that was part of a plan. What I'm holding out for is that if Walt and Todd interact again, it is revealed that they had an aside whereby Walt instructed Todd to spare Jesse. Maybe Walt comments on how close Todd cut it when he stepped in. I still think to put the life of Jesse in the hands of a trigger happy Neo Nazi is ridiculous though, unless Walt genuinely wanted him dead. Why Walt wants him dead I have NO IDEA. It still makes no sense to me now and is by far my biggest criticism of the episode. Jesse has arguably been as much family as the rest of them in these past two years.

Jesse was his partner in crime and ratted him out. Walt was obviously disgusted by that.
I think Walt shares Gus's opinion on snitches. . He'd rather you kill him than rat on you.

Sunday nights episode was amazing. I'm so glad that Hank was shot in the opening few minutes, left an impact and made room for everything else that happened in the rest of the episode.
Loved the acting from everyone during the scene where Walt took Holly. Incredible.

I have to wonder why we got foreshadowing of Hank committing suicide, if that wasn't the way they were going.
If you don't know what I mean, check youtube.

His phone call was over the top & purposely for the police to hear him say hurtful things -- so that Skylar wouldn't be dragged down with his actions & by her eyes moving back & forth, I think she knew that he was saving her. I just don't see that he is going to ever kill family -- he couldn't even let the thought of that be a possibility for Hank, let alone Skylar.

His freeze ups and stuff? I think that was moreso to add depth to the Hank character (whichw as formerly just a wisecrackin a hole cop)

(1:04 in the second video) That is going to give me nightmares As good as the last episode was, I am disappointed to be honest that the foreshadowing didn't pay off. I was really hoping that Walt's confession tape would lead Hank down that road (not really been done on t.v. before from a character so close to catching the bad guy). While it's interesting that Walt unknowingly dug Hank's grave, I really wish they went the other way.

Yeah, definitely think you're looking too much into with the suicide thing.

Could be foreshadowing that he gets shot in the head? The Gus stuff was interesting though

The bug squashing and the head clips were definitely intriguing and could signify instances of foreshadowing, but I think the Hank stuff is a total stretch. Even if Hank had ended up killing himself, I wouldn't consider those links to be of particular substance.

Yea I'm not buying the Hank suicide stuff that much, especially the first video where he's relearning how to walk. That one is a bit of a stretch.

I think Walt won't be able to keep up his cancer treatments once he goes into hiding. Maybe he goes out in a blaze of glory?

I think Walt won't be able to keep up his cancer treatments once he goes into hiding. Maybe he goes out in a blaze of glory? He has a full head of hair and beard in those scences so its safe to say that he isn't in chemo at that time. Now does that mean he's been rendered unable to get treatment, or that his cancer is gone at that time. Either way now we know why his neighbor was so freaked out when she saw him, but we still need to learn who wrecked the house, who the assault rifle is getting used on, who the ricin is for, and so much more. All in only two hours? This is gonna be CRAZY
