It's my summer show now. They've been airing reruns on BET. I absolutely love Urkel. "Did I do that?" Anyone else watched this show?

I always liked it while I was a child, now I find it incredibly cliche and annoying.

I grew up watching it, but stopped when Laura started giving it up to Urkel & they replaced the mom.

Laura was a stuck up bitch. Didn't wanna date Steve because he was a nerd. But once he transformed into Stephan, she was all up on that.

Seen every episode. Haven't watched it in a long time though.
The middle seasons are definitelt the best, imo.

It was an awful show then and even worse now. It was better before Urkel became the focal point though.

I always liked it while I was a child, now I find it incredibly cliche and annoying. Yeah, some things just cannot be revisited without thinking "What the crapwas I watching as a kid?"

I always liked it while I was a child, now I find it incredibly cliche and annoying. You and I are alike in this situation. I tried to watch an episode of Family Matters with 24 year old eyes and boy, I could not get into it at all. As a kid, I enjoyed it with reverence. Fast forward to 2013, I can't fathom watching an entire episode these days. You set it best Yeezy's Mullet: Team X Blades, Family Matters has not aged well. Not to derail this thread, the only TGIF show I can watch and appreciate it is Boy Meets World. After 13 years since BMW's finale, I would say it aged well even though it seems dated for 2013 standards.

I have to say that a lot of the shows I used to watch growing up are border line unwatchable now. I used to LOVE All That and Keenan and Kel, when The N started to air reruns a year or so back (might have been longer), I could barely sit through an episode of either.
I do agree with Brian's comment above, Boy Meets World is just about the only show I watched growing up that I can actually rewatch now.

Boy Meets World is the best thing I ever discovered while watching Disney Channel as a young teen.

I watched it.
I was a kid when it came on television. And as a kid you dont have a job or much to do, so you watch a lot of tv. I didnt really enjoy the show then and I think it's horrible today. I think I prob only watched it because I must have been very bored by what must have been on the other channels at the time.
