You all realize that kids buy these too right? We do realize that but instead of the 10tg different Cena sitting on the shelf, put a basic Kevin Nash or Diesel, Mankind, old school Rock, old school WWF Big Show, one of the other hundred legends that are signed to Legends deals We hardly need more Miz, Cena, Brodus & Mysterios to clog up the shelves. They already have the ones that haven't sold over the last year or more Does mattel not realize it. I can go by a Elite Best of 2011 Randy Orton , Elite Series 12 Orton, Elite 16 Orton & Elite 21 Orton at the same time at the same stores. That is a problem. Substitute Mysterio, Cena, Miz instead of Orton Brodus & Cara are getting there but they are not in the same category yet Great job making the figures and I am not complaining about the figs, just the selection sucks a lot of times (yes certain series are wonderful) but a lot of the selections leave a lot to be desired After Summerslam tonight maybe finally some of these Ortons will start to disappear!! Hope so

You all realize that kids buy these too right? So let's say a store just stocked an entire case B34. A kid walks in with his mother, and looks through all the figures. Does he buy another Cena? Another Rey? Sin Cara Miz or Brodus? I don't think there's any kids left who play with wrestlers that don't have one of those 5 guys. They've been so overly produced that unless you JUST started collecting, you'd never buy them. Hell even if you did just start, you could go to any store and see a Cena,Rey,Miz,Brodus, or Cara from series past sitting there on the shelfs because no one wanted them. The kid would buy the Ricardo. But now that he went to only 1 per case, that probably won't even be possible to find. Ill say it again..I truely believe this will be your lowest selling set to date. There is no way anyone could answer this question. You don't know if the kid already collects figures or if this is their first one. You don't know who their favorite wrestler is. The idea that kids are going to be lining up to purchase Ricardo is just wrong.

I would love to know the breakdown as to how many different Basic Cenas, Mysterios, Ortons, Sheamus, Miz have been produced. Does anybody keep a running count? Trust me if a kid is looking for his first Crna he will have NO trouble finding one.
And correct me if I'm wrong but Elite figs are geared towards adult collectors right? Being $16-$20 a pop. What on earth would make Mattel think we want Cena and Mysterio in every other series?

There is no way anyone could answer this question. You don't know if the kid already collects figures or if this is their first one. You don't know who their favorite wrestler is. The idea that kids are going to be lining up to purchase Ricardo is just wrong. Yup. But the problem some people on the board have is that they think the things they want are the same things that the mass audience wants. You're a Vader fan, judging by your signature etc. You'd probably love an elite Vader three-pack capturing his different outfits/runs. But you've probably got enough self-awareness and perspective to realise that an elite Vader three-pack isn't realistic. Some people on the board don't have that self-awareness or sense of perspective. They just think "I don't like Cena, therefore nobody likes Cena. I want Ricardo, therefore everyone wants Ricardo." Somehow, they also think they have more access to Mattel's sales data and figures than Mattel does. It's got to be a horrible way to live, upsetting themselves every time a new series is announced or released, considering we're collecting these things for fun.

Kids are going to walk into the store, see the full case, and buy the Cena right? Because he is popular. Regardless of the fact that the number of children without Cena figures is likely in the tens. The kid buys Cena right? So sorry for not using logic before.
