This whole event should've been on PPV. I would've paid for it, no question. Definitely one of the best cards of the year. I hope they end up releasing it on DVD/Blu-Ray at some point. I'd buy that too.

A very solid card all around. I enjoyed all the fights, however I missed Travis Brown KO'ing Overeem with that left up kick. Chael choking out Shogun was incredible.

what a promo for chael p, he is the best. Oh definitely. I don't think there is a better trash-talker in the UFC than Chael Sonnen. He's very entertaining whether you like him or not. He called out Wanderlei. I hope Wanderlei accepts because that will be a hell of a fight. He can talk the trash and back it up too. He's a great fighter. You can't possibly deny it. |

Wow - awesome win for Chael P! Great promo afterwards too, lol. I wonder where Shogun goes from here... he looked gutted afterwards (...still wouldn't mind seeing Hendo/Shogun again...).
Really disappointed in Overeem... he's gotta start learning to RESPECT opponents - that's twice he's grabbed defeat fom the jaws of victory. His camp must be so frustrated...
And McDonald looked great... I loved the way he pulled that sub off after being mounted for most of the round.

^ Oh God, they are just comin' out of the woodwork, aren't they?? LOL. Why would Phil Davis be calling Chael out?? That one confuses me because he just beat Machida which arguably makes him the #1 contender and if he were to take a fight with Sonnen, that would be taking a back-step, so I'm not sure why he would want to risk that at this point.
I'm not exactly sure where Chael Sonnen ranks now after beating Shogun, but it's gotta be in the top 4 or 5 for sure.
