I laughed at the fact that Phil Davis wants to fight Chael Sonnen for "the whole country of Brazil". I'm guessing he's getting a lot of Brazilian hate after the Machida decision, and is just looking to get back in their good graces.
I think they should go ahead and just give the fight to Wanderlei.

Well Vitor has called Chael out on Twitter and Chael has accepted on Fox Sports Live. Vitor Belfort Vs Chael Sonnen, strong wrestling vs a strong guard, hard pick. I love Chael, but chinny Wand was winnable, while Belfort will be a nightmare. I think they both pose the same threat really... let's face it - Chael isn't going to stand and trade with either... the gameplan will be exactly the same as it was with Shogun. And if Wandy can (still) stand and trade with guys like Cung Le, Rich Franklin, and Brian Stann, he can with Chael too.

Le is undersized for 185 and fueled by cupcakes, Franklin's success was the result of a weak/developing division, and Stann has shown himself to be quite mediocre (e.g., his fights with Bisping, Soszynski; who has he actually beat). I would not be surprised if Sonnen showed off some of his boxing, with which he is quite competent, and dropped a very chinny Wanderlei. Totally forgot he's now fighting Belfort. Belfort is a different beast and has been since his TRT use. Sorta like Sonnen in that regard. I actually think Belfort on TRT is far more potent than Sonnen on TRT. Wrecking Bisping and Rockhold is undoubtedly impressive and undoubtedly a side effect of Lorenzo himself personally injecting Belfort with the juice. Sonnen is in a lot more trouble if this takes place in Brazil. No regulations and Belfort is gonna juice himself until it's leaking from his pores. Given how Sonnen is somewhat Lesnar-esque when he gets hit hard, I think there's a good chance that Belfort will win by TKO. He won't completely knockout Sonnen, but Sonnen will collapse.

Looks like it's Vitor and Henderson 2.
I imagine UFC sees more dollar signs in a Wandy/Chael fight.

I'm down with this - I don't think Vitor's knocking out Hendo (no matter how much juice he's on, lol). Hopefully it will be a main-event... it could turn out to be a 5 round war/classic like Hendo-Shogun.

Looks like this fight is at 205 as well. This fight makes no sense at all, especially at 205. But whatever, it should still be fun.

Very good card this was. Pretty disappointed in Overeem and Shogun, but sh*t happens, man. Big ups to Chael for getting a SUBMISSION on Shogun. NEVER saw that coming.
I've grown to respect Michael McDonald a LOT more. Even though he looks like a geek to me, that kid has some SERIOUS power at 135lbs. Props to Pickett, too. He's always had my respect. Still a top-10 guy and a huge favorite of mine.
How's everyone doing, anyway?

Not surprised this card dragged you back, it was amazing! I'm a huge McDonald fan.

Wanderlei lays the verbal smack-down on Chael...
