I've noticed one major flaw with the spring rings besides it's size. As most of you already know the turnbuckle stickers do not stay stuck. Do you think Mattel will ever fix the turnbuckles and/or stickers? Also, I know it's because of cost cutting, but I wish we could get four apron stickers and not just two.

Wow, they don't even give you four apron stickers? Cheap bastards.

I got my first with the HIAC set. Those rings f'n suck compared to the RSR. Or even the Jakks ones that had the blue mat.

I don't think those turnbuckle stickers ever stick for long. I had 2 basic rings and they were always falling off.

Mattel just doesn't put any effort into their basic rings and it shows. Stronger turnbuckles are just a small pro on a list full of cons.

Basic rings can kind of be fun to just mess around and let your imagination get the best of you, but The RSR is the best ring. Hands down! and Of course, I mean the classic ones not the Raw ones. In that regards, the ESR rules.

At least you don't have to tie the ropes together like the earlier Jakks basic rings

I wish they'd just print the logos on the turnbuckles so we wouldn't need stickers

I wish there was a happy median somewhere between the ESR and the basic rings. the ESR is too big, it needs to be shrunk like 3 inches inward. also metal ring posts that can't break would be amazing

Making your own stickers is probably the best way to go. You could also try gluing them or using your imagination when they fall off for good.

Im blessed that I found the elite scale ring at retail. The spring loaded ones are just garbage

That's the downside to toys that come with stickers. Unless it's a piece they can reuse for multiple sets companies give stickers versus printing directly on the plastic. You could try some craft bond that's good for both paper and plastic. I recently bought a Tributes to the Troops right and absolutely love it. Luckily i wont be using the stickers. I hate the spring feature but I'm planning to modify it so it's stationary.

The ONLY complaint I have is that its not big enough! The ring itself is awesome, but its just the size that bothers me.

Have you seen how a superplex has been done? When being trained, the way it's done is the guy doing it has his legs bent and the opponent is bent almost on a 90 degree angle. If you do it like that in a basic ring, it doesn't hit the other corner.

Anyone got any good ideas for steps for these rings? Would 2 sets that came with DA figs work?
