TNA needs to make this an absolute priority. I agree, they cannot let him slip through their fingers.

I feel like we go through this everytime someone's contract is set to expire. He will resign obviously. And we will have this same discussion next time Angles contract is going to expire I think last time we did this it was for RVD so... TNA seems to be in a different place financially than the previous times we've talked about guys jumping ship or heading back to WWE.

-- Paul Heyman walks out on the entrance ramp on Monday Night RAW, and introduces his latest acquisition.... out walks a man with a hood covering his head.... (we all know who it is)... music hits, he reveals himself by quickly pulling back the hood and extending his arms out... Heyman shouts, "LADIES AND GENTLEMAN.. THE PHENOMENAL, ALLEN STYLEZ!!"

Hard for me to say if he should stay or go.To me AJ Styles is TNA,will him and Double J.So him leaving TNA would be a huge blow to the company and a void they can't fill.TNA just wouldn't seem the same without him and as stupid as it sounds without AJ I really don't care or want to watch TNA anymore even with talented guys I like in Angle,Aries,Daniels,Kaz,Storm,Roode...ect.AJ Styles to me is like what Sting was to WCW and what Undertaker has become for WWE.
But on the other hand AJ has done everything possible in TNA.He's feud with everyone their is to feud with, won every title multiple times over, won every different match possible, headlined and main event their biggest shows, put on five star classic matches...ect their nothing left for him in TNA while a jump to WWE theirs a hole new universe to play in pun intended.
Going to the WWE would increase his name power and drawing ability on a much larger scale,he would have all new fresh feuds and stars to work with, new titles to chase after, more then likely a higher payday...ect
For his career its a very easy choice to make the jump to TNA,again just for his career shack and legacy. But you have to keep in mind his family as well, which AJ has stated in the past he wants to spend as much time as possible with while continue with his pro wrestling career.Thats the only draw back I see with his jump to WWE instead of staying with TNA.

Everyone needs to stop pretending AJ would somehow become a star in WWE. His moveset will be incredibly limited and he has heat with CM Punk.

How come there's heat between Punk and AJ? BTW, I agree with you with people to stop pretending he's going to WWE or become a star in WWE.

When TNA quit allowing its stars to perform for ROH the first time, TNA forced wrestlers to choose, do to AJ being the star of TNA at the time and such pay cuts would effect many talents, Punk was furious AJ refused to take a stand against TNA and stop them from doing so which Punk believes AJ had the ability to. Punk stayed in ROH and Aj went to TNA only. Punk was upset basically because it caused pay cuts, hurt roh, and limited wrestlers who were in ROH from gaining national exposure and improving the wrestling business as a whole. I don't blame TNA from doing what they did though after RF got busted.

Oh, yeah. Like they aren't going to resign their next World Heavyweight Champion... Bahahaha! Well if he doesn't want to there's nothing they can go about it. Bahahahaha logic.

His new gimmick had promise but they should have kept him from wrestling for longer. If they were going to copy the Sting WCW angle, might as well go all the way.
The problem with AJ is that he's just bad on the mic. There's nothing you can do with him if he has to talk. Maybe you can give him a manager, but I think he could get over without ever saying a word.

AJ's home is TNA. The smaller schedule fits the new(er) father perfectly.
He'll be the top guy again come October, which is an angle they've been building up since last September. There's no way they don't sign him to at least a year extension, leading into BFG.
He's had many opportunities before earlier in his career. Times where he was much more valuable to a company. His worth is only dropping with age. I personally feel his still worth a contract from the WWE, but they might not.
... there's your logic.

It would be pretty nuts to see him go to WWE. This. It can also go both ways, hopefully if he EVER goes to WWE, they don't completely ruin him. It'd be a sad day to see AJ Styles become a jobber, or stay in mid card hell for over 2-3 years

"Like they won't resign their next champion." Correct me if I'm wrong but its not 100% their call if they resign him or not, I think AJ might have a say in that too. I'm sure THEY would love to, but its up to HIM if he does or not. You see that logic?

Of course it's Styles' choice in the end.
With staying where he's known, loved, comfortable, etc. it's a pretty obvious choice. There's no way his contract extension would be less than what he currently makes, he's clearly winning back the title at BFG... so it's not like his talents will be wasted. The light schedule works much better for a new father and obviously his kids mean a lot to him.
AJ Styles will not be leaving TNA in 2013 or 2014.

If WWE offers A.J. a contract, I feel that it would only be to pluck one of TNA's top talents to further weaken TNA.
There hasn't been one of 'TNA Originals' to sign with WWE. I don't see the WWE really getting behind a wrestler with the 'TNA stank' on him. They're okay with Christian, RVD & Jeff Hardy coming back, because they were WWE guys first.
Styles should just sign with New Japan for awhile and see what happens to TNA. If the company is in better shape (or even exists) in a few years (and Hogan will presumably be gone), he could come back and get a mega push and long TNA Heavyweight championship run.

Or he could just continue where he is and receive that Championship run in 2 months...

Who's to say WWE won't offer AJ a limited travel schedule?
If WWE wanted to put a nail in the TNA coffin signing AJ Styles away would do just that.
Put him with Heyman and he will instantly get serious heat with the WWE Universe. He will already have some Heat from the guys who know him from TNA.
I think that it makes sense for AJ to jump to WWE and try an cash in on the exposure doing so will give him. I can't see him wrestling very much past 40 so jumping now will probably be AJ's last chance for a real payday during his career.

The only guys who receive part-time schedules in WWE are well-established names (RVD, Y2J). In the end AJ Styles is nothing more than a big name indy talent to WWE, like Chris Hero. People seem to think it's AJ's choice to go to WWE. Who's to say WWE even would want him?
