Entering this Junior year also makes me think about how crappy the school systems are nowadays. I don't feel like ive learned a damn thing from being lectured all day by women who didn't know what to do with their lives after school. Ive been a self taught boy for quite some time now and listening to teachers try and teach me what the school board thinks I need to learn is crap... I'll just stop right there.. You seem to have a problem with women don't you? you harassing me now? Do my opinions offend you? Too bad

Calm down. I'm nervous as well man. I have always dreamed of entering the police academy at one point though. I am almost certain I will do that after I get my Associates degree.

I've been back at university for a little over a week now, classes start tomorrow. Just a word of advice from me about the sports thing: if you're really new and don't think you'll be good at the sport, join one that your school isn't particularly competitive in. That will give you a better chance to play in the actual games and have more fun with it. I come from a high school that was very competitive in lacrosse (made states every year I was there). So instead of bothering with that, I went with track, because we were one of the weaker teams in our area. Turned out to be a good idea, because I had a lot more fun with it. Made sectionals my junior and senior year after starting sophomore year.
But yeah, high school sucked for the most part.

School sucks. The only advice I can give you is to do what I did and just try to get through it. Being at school is a miserable time and always will be. After school is when life gets good though.

Disagree. I've been out of college for 10 years now. I really wish I was back in school and had a lot less things to worry about.

I'm starting high school in 3 days. I'm very nervous and excited, but it will Probably wear off in the weeks to come. Oh and pray for me that I don't see ryback in the cafeteria. Any advice? Just have as much fun as possible, honestly. Try your best to excel academically, but always keep a balance between school work and your social life. Being social in high school, to me, is always key. I was too shy my freshman and sophomore year. I still had fun, but I was very secluded within my group of friends. I opened up junior year and I had the time of my life my last couple of years there. I had good relationships with people in almost every "clique", and it helped out a lot. I found that I could be myself in nearly every situation and never really have to worry about it. By my senior year, I had great relationships with my peers, with my teachers, and my class in general. I stayed incredibly busy my senior year and had my hands in nearly everything, but it was one of the most rewarding times I've had in my life to date.

It was great. I honestly didn't know that you could eat outside the cafeteria. Anyways the teachers were nice and the students were cracking jokes but it made me feel calm. I couldn't really see any of my friend from last year. The only time I get to see them is at lunch time, but I kind of expected that. All in all I had a very good day. No more uncomfortable uniforms thankfully.

I just graduated college last year and I miss being with people with like aspirations.. doing something I am passionate about.. just being in a place that fosters creative thinking

I love hearing aboiut how stressful high school is. I miss it so much. It was so easy and so much fun. I'd go back tomorrow. Girls are so slutty and easy now. Relax my man. I'd think having your cousin there would be awesome. My cousin was in my crew and one of my best friends growing up.
Also, how do you just decide that you are "gonna do track and bball" in August? Don't you have to tryout??

Me and my friends you used to get up to all kinds of crazy s**t in school, I have to admit we were always very mischevious haha. It sucks because I don't have contact with any of them anymore :/. Really miss those guys.
