I've asked this countless times. That pic shows that he did in fact wear it......but what is it based off of. He's worn slimer, batman, and United Nations trunks. What are these? Some people have said Wolverine.

As soon as I first saw pics of this battlepack I immediately thought wolverine and since Rey is obviously Batman, I thought they were going with a comic theme.  |

I thought it was Wolverine as well although I didn't think they can do a Wolverine attire seeing he's Marvel.

I think since there aren't any trademarked/copyrighted logos they can get away with it since really its just yellow tights with 3 black lines on the side. I do believe Wolverine was the inspiration behind it, though
I saw Punks attire at SummerSlam and thought Wolverine as well, a buddy of mine thought he was just matching the summer slam colors as they were really close.

I mean, I guess it could be Wolverine, but most of his attires aren't based on anything in particular. Considering the real attire is more of a tennis ball or highlighter shade of yellow, I would assume it has nothing to do with Wolverine, especially since it's missing blue.

Yeah, it's just part of Kofi's "Wildcat" phase. All his gear had the same designs around that time, just in different colours (grey, black, tennis ball). I think it's been the worst looking outfit he's had, possibly beaten by the new tights though. |

its the wrong color. They made it light yellow......when the color Kofi actually wore was Optic Yellow (the yellow/green color of a tennis ball)
The correct color would've been more what they used on the Rockers.
Its also not based on anything. Its just one of his wildcat attires
