There were two figures I really wanted to add to my collection, E6 Batista and the E8 Edge. After searching eBay for the last couple days I pulled the trigger on them. I grabbed a loose mint Batista for $50 and Edge MOC for $45, did i overpay or get a good deal? I started collecting last August so I'm still missing a few figures but these seemed to be 2 really rare and desirable figures. Hopefully i did good.
Thanks for any comments or input, definitely appreciate it.

It's all about timing with eBay. I grabbed E8 edge mint loose for $25 and Batista E6 mint loose for $40. Since you got the edge MOC, I'd say it was an ok deal. The cost of the figure is always based off the value it is to yourself. If you plan on reselling you won't make much but if you plan on keeping them, and you feel it was worth it to have em, then it definitely was, both great figs

I'm definitely keeping them. I keep seeing the Batista get more and more expensive so i figured anywhere between $40-60 was about right. The Edge i've never seen go cheap in my searches so i figured anything around what i paid would be good since there is a live auction right now for a loose one and its at $43. |

$45 MOC for Edge was a deal. That's how much it fetches loose.

I personally would say you over payed as I have heard of people getting better deals just by waiting for it, but I guess if your happy it was a good deal then

I personally would say you over payed as I have heard of people getting better deals just by waiting for it, but I guess if your happy it was a good deal then That can be said for any item when it comes to eBay, however, there is a loose E8 Edge in auction right now at $43 and a loose E6 Batista in auction currently priced at $34 (last i checked) so i would say waiting out for better deals isn't really a feasible option right now. A year ago maybe, but their rarity and desirability only continue to increase. I just wanted to check in with fellow collectors to see if that was about going value currently, who knows where those two auctions will end up in 2-3 days when they end but a difference of $5-10 isn't anything to fret over. Especially with Edge being MOC. |

I sold my Elite 6 Batista months ago for $66.99 loose, mint, and complete. And that's around where I see them consistently sell, so I'd say you did get a good deal.
