Got this from a member on here. I've tried getting this fig several times only to get screwed over or ppl asking ridiculous amount for him. I never saw him in stores and figured I'd give up and hopefully get a swat bossman from mattel down the road.
My 80's to early 90's shelf
I also grabbed Rosa from Kmart. She's for trade if anyone is interested.
I walked into a TRU I don't normally go to and I notice a empty package of the 60's Batman that someone had opened and stolen Penguin. So I look directly below it and BAM! 4 Batmobiles sitting there. I found it weird other TRUs in my area all got the single batman figs but not the 2 packs or the batmobiles. Anyway knowing that most of u guy said it was $60 (which I was hesitant to pay honestly) at TRU I knew that me being in NY meant it would be more and sure enough it was $70. I was like GTFO here. I don't need this that bad. Thats when I remember PJ telling me that Target.com had it for $50. I went to the Customer Service desk to get a price match. I opened the link in my iphone and the lady called the manager to the desk and asked if she could do the price match and he said yes! So long story short go get it price matched!
My memories of this show was my Grandma picking me up from school, brining me home where I would eat grilled cheese sandwiches (out of that sandwich press machine lol) and watch Batman. I absolutely loved it as a kid. So when I heard about this line I knew I needed to get at least batman and the batmobile. The Adam West Batman is a great, I love everything about it including the stand he comes with. The batmobile on the other hand I'm a little disappointed in. I feel like if they are going to charge $50-$70 it should have come with a Batman fig or at least have some cool feature. I would have loved some rubber wheels and a working siren. The doors dont even open . It looks cool and has that wow factor in the box, which has amazing artwork but once you get it out the box it kinda disappoints. I'm honestly debating on returning it. I kinda wanna keep but its taking up a whole shelf on my superhero display. I'm not sure if this will warm stores like the movie masters batpod and then sell for a crazy amount once its gone or if there are a lot of hardcore collectors who will scoop it up at the first sight of it. What do you guys think? Worth having and taking up a whole shelf? Or Return it?
Got this guy from Midtown Comics. I paid more than I wanted to but Hawkeye was the only one I really wanted from the set. Almost picked up black panther but I'll wait till amazon get him in stock.
