I can't imagine it could top the first LP, but I'll give it a listen.

Cannot wait for this. The single comes out tomorrow, and I'm very excited about it. Em really reinvented himself with a new sound in Recovery, and this album already sounds like it's going to be outstanding. I wonder why he's back to bleaching his hair? Maybe just to go back to his roots (no pun intended) and give everything more of a Marshall Mathers LP feel to it. , I can't wait till November 5!

Very excited, love me some Eminem. It will never live up to MMLP but to name this one after it, it should be good. I don't think he's bleached his hair for good, I think it's only for the music video of Berserk.

Damn that song "Beserk" sounds great. Coming from a guy who made a "I hate Eminem" thread.

The last time I listened to him I was 17. I turn 30 in 2 months. Add me to the not excited list Yeah, I could care less. The last album of his that I listened to in full and enjoyed was Encore. I have since fell out of love with rap/hip-hop

Best Eminem song ever. Especially the first 30 seconds, wish the whole song was that good.

Great song. Reminded me of an early LL Cool J record, but he loses it a bit after the first verse.

Man, I really didn't like Berzerk at all. I'll give it another try but on first listen, not feeling it. And I love Em.
Just re-listened and read the lyrics along with the song, since you can't understand it at all in the song itself. I really feel like there's way too much going on. The writing is great when I read the lyrics along, but when I listened to the audio alone, I was going, "What? Wait, what? What did he say there? What?"
Too much happening.
This sounds a lot like it was meant for Relapse. Especially the second verse. The way he's delivering it, his cadence, straight off Underground/Ken Kaniff.
Still looking forward to MMLP2 regardless.

Bezerk is good, it really sounds like Beastie Boys though. First thing my dad said when it played in the radio is "Oh now he's rippin Beastie Boys" lol. First verse with that style is the only good part of the song though in my opinion.

The chorus is extremely catchy. This was a great single to put out since it's sure to be a big hit in the radio and at clubs.
I get the Beastie Boys comparisons but you have to remember this record is produced by Rick Rubin, who loves this style of sound. The beat is clearly influenced by him.

I'll give it a go. Not been a fan of his stuff for a while though. It's a shame as he wa incredible when he first came on the scene.

Truthfully, the song could've been much better. I expect the rest of the album to be pretty decent hopefully he doesn't disappoints me. Imagine a Stan Part 2.

Love Eminem. He broke at the absolute perfect time for my generation. We were all in high school, the music was everywhere. Marshall Mathers LP is still my 2nd favorite album by him, but overall one of my favorite rap albums ever. If Eminem is gonna try to make the big comeback by going "old school" I'm all for it
