I've always thought Impact was a great foundation. It's such a shame there was never a sequel.
I still enjoy playing Ultimate X matches with friends.

Great foundation and I think in the ring it was better than SVR09 on some levels but the fact everyone played the same hurt that game so badly. That engine was pretty versatile. They took that and built All Stars on top of it. IMO All Stars showed what that development team was capable of.

Wow I'm surprised to see so many positive comments. I thought it was pretty damn fun but it seemed to get crapped on a lot. It was limited in moves, but it was enjoyable (except for fighting double JJ in the story mode - you needed to spam like a mad man to beat him). They used the same engine for both WWE All Stars and the AAA Lucha Libre game. I still hope we see another TNA game someday but it doesn't seem like it will anytime soon, if ever.

The Story Mode really killed this one for me personally.

The Story Mode really killed this one for me personally. Hated that story mode. Thankfully someone uploaded a completed save on PS3 so playing through that wasn't required to play as Senshi or Don West.

I always had a hard time kicking out of pins. I thought the graphics were awesome and it was a fun game, the biggest negative was how limited it was with gimmick matches, roster & no championships. I was looking forward to a sequel.

For what it was, I liked it. It could've been better, but it could have also been a lot worse.

It took me two years to beat the story mode. That chocolate shark pissed me off way to much.
Also used a save file for everyone else afterwards.

I preordered this game, and although limited, never had many complaints. I'll still pop it in occasionally, just because I love using the X-Division guys for all the flips off the ropes so much. I lost my save, so I'm trying to complete the roster again, but not with any sense of urgency.

I thought the way they put Suicide on TV was brilliant.
Funny how now that's how Goldberg ended up returning and the first time we saw Sting, I guess it started a trend!
