And Jason Marsden as Eric's "only" friend in the entire series other than Jack. And how Keiner randomly changed actors for one episode, then changed back. LOL that was ridiculous. I love seeing Adam Scott as Griff. It was like the HS version of the brother from Step Brothers. But a complete opposite of his Parks and Rec character. I hated Erics ratty ass friend Jason though..my least favorite character in that show along with Angela. |

I liked Jason.
I also liked Griff as THAT should have been the "bully" character all along. Harley Keiner sucked. I mean REALLY sucked. He belonged on a show like Happy Days or something but certainly not a mid 90s show. Griff was unique and something different as a snobby and smart "bully" instead of the usual greaser bs which has been done a million times.

I think mine is probably the Lauren trilogy episodes. I always liked the serious ones.
In fact, the last two seasons when they are in college are my favorites. Those first couple seasons are hard to watch now, imo, but the last few still hold up pretty good. Especially the ones with Eric being stupid and crazy.

I like the serious ones too. Episodes like Shawn's dad dying are very memorable. I suppose in a way the Vader vs. Jake episode is a fav of mine for obvious reasons, but I also love the one where Cory beats up his teacher (Fred Savage). And yeah, I love the Lauren ones, too. I definitely agree that the first season is quite hard to watch, and Seasons 4-7 are definitely the best... They could have easily turned it into a friends type sitcom as they got older. In the later seasons, the only episodes I don't like are the really zany ones like Cory going back in time, Topanga going into another dimension etc. And yes, Eric is just amazing in the later seasons, in the early ones he was like a mean bully, he turned into a kind hearted doofus. |

I liked how the show grew and became more mature as the cast also grew and matured.
There were duds. The time travel one you mentioned and there was also one where Eric goes to Disney with Feeney and there is like some alternate universe called "Kid Gets Aquainted with the Universe". It was just weird.
You know who I didn't like? Rachel. I just wasn't a fan. She wasn't hot and just took up tv time that could've been devoted to other stuff. Angela was ok. At least her character was developed. With Rachel it was the same crap over and over.

It was way too cliche and out of place in the 90s. Frankie and Joey were great though and should have had more tv time than Harley. As a kid I always had the hots for Harley's little sister T.K. though when she appeared in one episode and dated Cory. You're not alone, I too had the hots for her lol and this is her now, btw  |

On a slightly unrelated topic, Cory's unbroken voice in Season 2 was pretty hideous... Good job it broke by Season 3. I'm watching Season 2 right now. He sounds OK. The weird part was that his physical development in the show was so natural. Got taller and voice got deeper. Simple. BMW is virtually the only thing on this forum that has Bashcrash acting normal.  |
