Before I get started, I just wanted to say that when I left wfigs last summer, I had full intention of coming back eventually, whether it be for one match or one run. Proof? I am not "retiring." That would imply that im never coming back, which is not true. I will be back someday. But its not gonna be in 3 months, thats for sure. Honestly, I had only planned on coming back to face Rob. After the match however I realized how much I missed this place and that I could still have a little time left in me to put some more guys over. I had no idea that a brief return would lead me into some of my biggest and most important matches I have had here in my 5 years on wfigs. I mean I beat Stevo for the World Championship! How many guys can say that? If you are looking for a long, drawn out speech about my whole career, you won't find it here. I gave one last year and there's no point in repeating it. I never want to use the word retirement unless I know for sure that this is the end. Retirement is like the word love, both are powerful words that have been weakened over the years by people overusing them and misusing them. So this IS my retirement. I will not compete on wfigs again. Hell, I don't even think i`ll animate ever again. My ring is falling apart, my figures are being packed up and hopefully will be sold in the next few years. I didn't mention this before but my tripod broke before Summer Catastrophe, in case you didn't notice the by the shaky animations. I am NOT using this as an excuse. Cam was definitely the better man on that night and deserves everything he has right now. It's time for me to move on. You guys have been here through some of the best and worst times of my life and no matter where I was physically or emotionally I was still somebody here. You guys made me feel like somebody.  This was the last stip I made for Summer Catastrophe and it is one of my favorite animations I have made. For that one animation, I felt like I was back in the summer of 2009. I liked that feeling. If I could do this all again I would, and if it wasn't for college maybe I could have stuck around. But I can't. You can't stay in the past forever. It's time to move on. Peace. |

You can honestly be proud of your animating career, and i'm talking not only titles, i'm talking being dedicated to this board, having friends, having FUN, that's what's the most important part in our hobby, and i'm pretty sure you had fun, and i'm 200% sure you will have fun in your future no matter animating or not. Thank you, "Angus", and thanks to your cat(i know you act like you're a cat but still i hope you get it lol) Angus for appearing in some of your animations and at the end of your YT videos  Good luck in your future! |

I've told you time and time before about how your my favorite animator and I really mean that.
I watched your TFW Best of 2008 video and I was instantly hooked on your channel and wrestling animation. I can't tell you how many times I've watched "Ready to Fall" and all of your other complimations to get motivation to animate. You always had a creative mind set and style that I didn't think matched with anyone. Before I came to wfigs I would see all these videos about the epic battles between you and LKS and they would give me goosebumps. I wasn't on here and I had watched a promo from the wfigs channel about the retirement match at Animania, and I was so worried you were gonna lose *at the time I was clueless, and still am* and so when I found out you beat LKS I went crazy. I've looked back the past few months of how much you've improved since when you started and you've improved remarkably. I remember learning how to use a video converter and making you a tribute, and when I saw that you commented my mind was almost blown, I found it so cool that my insperation, the person who made me want to be an animator actually looked on my channel and then saw one of my anis. When Blake retired I remember db saying how his blake's animations were like the lyrics to his favorite song and I feel the same way about your animations. You've beaten the best, jws, lks, stevo, and many others and I hope to be like you one day. Thank you for all the advice you've given me and for the insperation to animate with action figures, you'll never be forgotten on this forum.

It's been an absolute pleasure getting the chance to see you compete over the years Angus, you've faced the best in the years come and have overcome the odds despite the few that constantly said "You could never do it". You are one of the few that made the board fun yet competitive driven and I have appreciated every contribute weither little or large that you have brought to the board. You're leaving WF on the note of a high classic noble legend in my eyes and I would hope nothing more then to see you excel at your very best towards anything you do regardless of what obstacles lie ahead of you because you've showed that you can compete at the highest level possible amongst us all in this field. Sad to see you go Angus! I know you probably don't know me, but I've been watching your animations for years. It's amazing how much you've grown and how fast you've risen to the top. You've deserved everything you've gotten. You are actually my second favorite animator with LKS at number one. I loved your creativity and your ideas. I wish to be as good as you one day. Thank you Angus.
