I'm a big fan of John Cena the person, but I dislike John Cena the character. I have tons of respect for what John Cena does with the Make-A-Wish foundation and actually going through with the match with Daniel Bryan while injured made me respect him a lot more. It's a little refreshing not having Cena on TV.

I am a fan of the person being as he has done a lot. But not of the wrestler but used to be. I'm not one of the ones wanting him to turn heel. I want him to sell more, and to make it look like he has to struggle to win. I feel he has squashed every opponent accept for DB since he beat Edge to win back the title the first time Edge took it with MITB.
If he would show some aggression and anger I'd be a fan. But as of now not of the wrestler. If he would be like how he was when he feuded with Kane I'd be on his side. As of now accept against punk and DB he seems like he wins without even trying.

I wouldn't say I'm a fan, but I somewhat respect his impact on the sport. I used to could not stand the guy. Same with Miz. But the both have grown on me considerably. And I think the fact Cena has strayed from the white rapper gimmick has made me gain respect. He really reminds me of Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart and Mark Wahlburg rolled into one.

I am definitely a fan of Cena. I had some points and time where I didn't care for him as much, but in the past couple of years I have been a big fan of him.

A long time ago I was, for sure. But he is beyond stale these days, sadly. He has no edge to him at all and he just makes corny smarmy jokes - it's awful. He always put on solid, entertaining matches, though, I'll give him that. But I wish his character wasn't so lame.

I don't think Cena is bad at what he does. I do enjoy his matches. It's the character that bores me.

Cena gets carried in matches. lol Yep, as I said in my original post, he was wrestling on D-Bry's level at Summerslam. If anything Cena was outperforming him. |

ive never ever been a fan of john cena in any capacity. i personally feel there are guys out there working with better gimmicks, better look, better mic work, better characters, etc. that are more deserving of his position in the business. i mean, sure, i am happy for him that he was able to get so over and get a nice cozy spot in the company, but as a passionate fan of the business, i feel like HIS time is up, someone else's time is NOW. ive just personally had enough of his character and the way he is booked.
