RVD/Ricardo is ridiculously random. Everyone has already said that they expect Ricardo to turn, and I completely agree. I just hope Sandow doesn't cash in and win. I don't think he has won a single match since MITB. In WWE's rationale perhaps they think that this makes it more of a surprise if he wins, but to me it makes for a weak, terrible champion.

WWE should have hired Bill Alfonso.

Don't know if it has been said...but RVD will be in his home state at Night of Champions...will WWE go for the pop?

I just want Del Rio out of the title picture... Such a boring champ. RVD vs Sandow would be a whole lot better.

He's the only Mexican they have that doesn't get injured or fail drug tests. They want to have a Mexican main eventer, and it sure ain't gonna be Sin Cara. So because he is Mexican he gets world titles?? Why dosent that apply for african americans? Or canadians? I don't get it. He is a good wrestler ill give him that but he isn't world champion material. WWE has a large Hispanic market and they want a Hispanic wrestler they can market to them. Like him or not Del Rio is the only one that can be trusted enough to put in that position.

Never had purebreed African American WWE Champion, British, or Non Russian-Asian. They have had Italian, Caucasian American, Hispanic, Russian, German, Samoan American, Canadian, Arab, French, and Irish.

WWE, for one reason or another, wants to maintain and improve their Hispanic markets and fanbase, and have for a long time. They did it with Eddie and Rey, tried to do with with Sin Cara, and now they're doing it with Del Rio. Their Hispanic demographic is probably larger and more profitable than the rest of them, so they focus on them more, and Del Rio is the only guy consistent enough to put time into.

IMO this will culminate in Ricardo screwing RVD to get back with ADR. I agree. I think they used richardos return to start a mini fued/swerve instead of having him just randomly return back with ADR.

Like him losing nearly every match since MITB and the cheap way he won MITB doesnt make him look weak? I think no matter what he will be aweak champ.

Rybackv1 probably lives in a less diverse area and like KvE said; the WWE has a strong Latino following, especially in the western and southern states like California and Texas.
