Am moving in a couple of months, and was wondering how best to transport my figs (mostly MOC). Will moving company usually care or pay attention to packing/moving these? Don't suppose they will insure much? If I were to pack myself (more care), wat are good boxes (dimensions pls) to use?

Best bet is to pack them yourself and NOT to let moving companies handle it.
Most department stores carry moving/packing supplies (Lowe's does for sure). I've used the 'Large' fold-out cardboard boxes to move stuff with and they're pretty sturdy and durable. In addition, I used some bubble wrap for extra protection which isn't a bad suggestion.

I agree! Always move my figures by myself.

Move them yourself, large plastic storage containers are best.

I use the office style boxes for manilla folders to store my MOC collection.

Definitely do it yourself. A moving company will throw your packages all over the place.
