I collect loose LJNs & Hasbros and I recently noticed there are Mattel WWE figures made to resemble LJN toys.
I've been trying to research them to see which ones were produced and I have to say, they look pretty sweet.
If I were to go to Wal-Mart/Target right now, which LJN-like Mattel would I most likely be able to find?
My other question pertains to the actual height of the figures. The original LJNs are around 7 inches (give or take)...with the Rey Mysterio figure being the exception (it looks drastically smaller than the others), are the rest Mattel LJN-like figures as tall or slightly shorter?
If I purchase them, I'd like to display them near my LJNs, so I wasn't sure if they'd look odd.
Thanks

The ljn figures you're talking about are made by jakks from the classic Superstars line.

In all seriousness I have a very thin understandind of what your trying to ask. From what I know Jakks made afew ljn like figures in the classic line based on the fact that ljn and jakks were established by the same person or group of ppl. As for mattel doing figs based on ljn figs.....I have NEVER heard of any connection what so ever. Based on scale by most if not all mattel figs would not fit in the 7 inch ljn line.

Mattel didn't make LJN styled figures...that was Jakks and they are shorter and stockier than real LJN's

Those were made by Jakks and they are weird. Too big and odd to fit in with regular Jakks/Mattels and too small to fit in with real LJNs.

The Trish Stratus one is her best figure yet. Possibly to be overtaken by the upcoming Elite.

You must have seen the Mattel's non articulated figures? They're only about 4" tall and sold at Dollar General. The sculpts look good but I think they're a little pricey at $6. Especially when Hasbro can sell a decent Star Wars figure with 5 POA + weapons at $5.99.

The ljn figures you're talking about are made by jakks from the classic Superstars line. Ahh, see this shows how little I know about brands other than LJNs & Hasbros. I had no idea these are Jakks figures.

I had no idea these are Jakks figures. Ah, gotcha. Jakks is somehow affiliated with what used to be LJN (I don't recall exactly how), so they were able to make "retro" figures that were kinda-sorta in the old LJN style. LJNs and Hasbros are all you really need, though.
