The greatest title fight I have ever seen. I scored it 48-47 for Gustafsson. I could see 48-47 Jones though. Not 49-46 though. Either way, insane fight.

Amazing fight... Bones showed the heart of a true champion and Gustafsson proved he belongs at the very top. Forget Glover... I want to see Jones/Gustafsson 2.

Glad I decided to watch this. Worth it for the main event alone.

The end of the 4th round (actually and round 2 as well) seems to be the reason Jones is still Champion, Gus was wining round 4 until the Spinning back fist which almost finished the fight stole Jones the round.
1 and 3 i gave Gus and 4 and 5 i gave Jones, round 2 was close and could have gone either way. What a fight from both men brutal fight and tough luck for Gus, so close.

Glad I decided to watch this. Worth it for the main event alone. Absolutely. I feel sorry for anyone who ordered the Floyd Mayweather yawn-fest last week over this, lol. The end of the 4th round (actually and round 2 as well) seems to be the reason Jones is still Champion, Gus was wining round 4 until the Spinning back fist which almost finished the fight stole Jones the round. Yeah... I think Jones was 2-1 down and losing the 4th - until that spinning elbow and subsequent attack. He showed a lot of heart and toughness tonight.

I have heard of fight to the death, and fight to the pain, but that was pretty much a legit Ambulance match. Only they both got ambulance rides.

Never in a million years did I expect that kinda fight. Especially with Jones being a 9-1 favorite. I didn't see this fight going past the first round. Definitely a FotY candidate.

Lordy Lordy, what a fight. This was like Hendo/Rua, but with a belt on the line.
I had the first three rounds for Gustafsson, personally. So bring on the rematch.

^ I keep hearin' that a lot of people scored the fight for Gus, but the judges saw it differently. It was a close fight for sure. If Forrest can win a belt by decision, then I think Gus could've as well.
I didn't watch the post-fight press conference, but did Dana White announce if there was going to be a rematch or not??

Awesome match, I don't think it's fair for anyone to call this a robbery for either guy because of how close it was. I personally give it to Jon Jones: Rounds 2 4 and 5

My biggest take away from this fight is that Jones has been feasting on smaller/shorter fighters and coming out looking like a legend. Then the first time he fights someone his own size (size, not weight) he looks beatable.
With that in mind, I foresee two or three 6'5" 205ers coming through the ranks in the next year or so. The reach and leverage advantage is just too great.
Also, with that being said, Jones did show a fighters spirit and IMO, won the fight 3 rounds to 2.

Jones doesn't want the rematch right away apparently. He thinks he won rounds 2,4, and 5 decisively. Jones vs Glover planned for Superbowl weekend in Feb.

Good, I'm glad. I'm sick of UFC and their constant rematches. The fight really could have gone either way.

If Jones and Gustafsson both win impressively in their next fights, the rematch could be even bigger.

With how he fought against Bader, I don't see Glover picking up the win. He got rocked at least 2 times in the first round, and Bader is nowhere the striker or has the speed of Jones.

I think Jones opinion of the fight does not matter at all honestly. His fans are clamoring for a rematch and he doesn't want to give it to him. And I think it has a lot to do with the fact he realizes that he is going to struggle with fighters that have just as long of a reach as him.
