It's been three years. They've done an a small amount to be honest. Here is what I think they should do:
TNA Single Figures (Deluxe) I think they should scrap Deluxe iMPACT! and start fresh, perhaps a wave of deluxe figures, with six in each set. No figure should be repeated until five series have gone past. Each figure should have cloth clothing and molded underneath, so there's two attires in one figure!
TNA Two Packs (Ruthless) I think they should bring back Ruthless but in two-packs. Why? They're more likely to be distributed in bigger stores. Cross The Line did fairly well.
TNA Legends (Deluxe) This should be an online series, and stores if possible, with fifteen in each set. The goal? To release EVERYONE whom has stepped in the TNA ring. Push WWE stars back until they leave the company, then add them later.
TNA ULTIMATE Playset A play-set where you can change the ring from four to six sides, comes with cage, Ultimate X, King Of The Mountain, Terrordome and weapons.
TNA Belts To release every TNA belt ever. From the Knockouts Tag Titles to James' Storm's Drinking Title. perhaps even Sports Entertainment Xtreme Championship!
-
I think this would do well. It depends if they can be bothered though. Over here in the UK only one physical chain store still sells TNA, but even they're dying out!
What do you guys think? Do you agree? What would you add or change?

I was thinking about The Entertainer, so I suppose there are two then. Sorry about this thread being in the wrong place. Is it able to be moved? Despite signing up a while ago, I've only really started on here consistently for a few months. I'm still getting an idea of how this place works! Sorry about that.

Would it kill them to throw in a bit more effort, if any left? Jakks needs to give their consumers more that excuses, excuses. More characters, less repaints, throw in some needed accessories, some championships, a bigger ring set (prefer 6 sides), and... BOOM! There is your successful line you've been looking for, Jakks. But in all seriousness (snickering...), keep up the great work, Jakks; for no one pisses off more of their consumers with unanswered questions, like YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYOU!

I think this would do well. It depends if they can be bothered though. No, it doesn't depend on "if they can be bothered." Jakks employees are not just sitting around going "Shall we bother making a TNA mega playset that would cost $750 today? It'd do well, but nah, I'm too lazy." Finances dictate their actions. All of your ideas are high fantasy along the lines of "Wouldn't it be great if elves made the figures?" The reality is that Jakks is not in a position to make great TNA toys. Jakks' wrestling figures have always been deeply flawed, but people lived with it back when they were the only real game in town. When the Mattel figures came along and blew them out of the water, it exposed the (lack of) quality of Jakks' stuff. But the TNA brand isn't strong enough to develop all-new molds for and pump tons of money into... Toybiz/Marvel tried that and that line died faster than the Jakks TNA one has. TNA was basically just a consolation prize for Jakks after WWE moved onto greener pastures, and I am almost certain that the reason we're seeing slow releases of all or almost all repaints now is that that's literally the only way they can make the finances work to release any TNA figures. Reusing existing molds and popular characters is both cheaper and a safer bet than a series of all-new characters. It's safe to say that if Jakks would make money producing fifteen-a-set Legends, figures with two outfits, James Storm's drinking belt and all in one mega expensive playsets, they'd be doing that. The demand just isn't there for that stuff, outside of maybe a couple hundred people on this forum... If even that many. It's fun to fantasy-book toy lines, but it's important we don't convince ourselves that our fantasy-booked lines are realistic or feasible. Otherwise we just upset ourselves by comparing out fantasies to the real toys too much. Toy companies have to deal with realities when making toys that we don't have to deal with when we just make a list of toys we'd like. But on a purely fantasy-booking level, I'd like to see them start from scratch too, making the figures properly scaled this time. Series 1: Sting with coat and bat Hulk Hogan with removable red t-shirt, feather boa, shades, bandana Ric Flair with robe Bully Ray with hat, Aces and Eights vest and chain Jeff Hardy with t-shirt Velvet Sky with Knockouts title Series 2: Kurt Angle with TNA title Sting (classic Crow style) with coat and bat Ric Flair in suit with wheelchair Jeff Hardy (different facepaint) with custom title Jeff Jarrett with guitar, glasses and t-shirt Christy Hemme with microphone Series 3: Hulk Hogan (non-wrestling) with badana and white t-shirt Sting (classic surfer style) with entrance jacket Jeff Hardy (no facepaint) with different t-shirt to series 1 Magnus with t-shirt AJ Styles with entrance gear James Storm with entrance gear

All they had to do was keep them RA and stick 1 RA legend in each series and this line would still be going.

All they had to do is get retailers on board, but they couldn't. The line went just as long as any other non-WWE wrestling line that went up against a WWE line.
When Jakks had the WWE license Toy Biz tried to compete with them with both WCW and TNA and failed after about 1 year each as did OSFTM WCW and ECW. Retailers don't want to carry two wrestling brands so they go with the larger WWE.

We shouldn't be too optimistic, otherwise we'll just disappoint ourselves. I think this teaching works well in many more aspects of wrestling, other than action figures. Thanks man.

WWE runs at a profit so is in no danger at all, and Dixie's daddy isn't going to keep pouring money in when TNA is losing millions every month. That's why they've fired half the roster and backstage staff. TNA is very much in danger of being sold or closed down if things don't turn around soon.

They should try to scale down the deluxe style. Keep the same articualtion but like the size of an ra fig. Because when shark boy or amazing red is the same height as Kevin Nash there's a problem. The luchadore figs that came out a few years back would be a good thing to refer to. They were the size of an ra fig but had deluxe style articualtion.
