I would make X-Men movies the right way. I would start with First Class and have the correct lineup: Cyclops, Jean, Beast, Angel, Iceman and of course Prof. X. The Villains would be Magneto and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants: Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, Toad, Blob and Mastermind. It would end of course with the defeat of the Brotherhood. Then I would follow up with First Class 2, adding Havok and Polaris to the X-Men lineup as well as former Brotherhood members, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch now fighting on the side of good. The villains would be the Hellfire Club: Sebastian Shaw, White Queen, Harry Leland, Donald Pierce and it's newest member Jason Wyngard AKA Mastermind, who left the recently defeated Brotherhood for what he thought would be a more successful team. The end would obviously be the defeat the Hellfire Club and the White Queen joining the newly reformed Brotherhood. First Class 3 would be the finale of the First Class trilogy. This would be the return of the Brotherhood and it's latest lineup: Magneto, Mystique, Toad, White Queen, Blob, Pyro and Avalanche. Banshee would be the newest member of the First Class. The movie would end not with the defeat of the Brotherhood but with the defeat of the First Class. The First Class would be captured and held as prisoners to Magneto in a place known as the Savage Land. Next I would of course introduce the Uncanny X-Men. Prof. X needing a new team after the defeat and capture of the First Class. New lineup, Storm(replacing Cyclops as the leader), Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Colossus and Kitty Pryde. The villains: Senator Kelly, Henry Gyrich, Gottfried Adler and Bolivar Trask and his mutant hunting Sentinals. Prof. X is trying desperately to find his First Class team but is forced to put that aside for now because of the rising threat to all mutantkind with the introduction of this new anti-mutant agenda. But there is also the emergence of a "safe haven" for mutants, Genosha. Prof. X is suspicious of Genosha and it's possible connection to the anti-mutant agenda so he sends his new team to investigate. It is of course revealed that Genosha is in fact apart of the anti-mutant agenda and the new team is ultimately captured, imprisoned and forced into slavery. The X-Men eventually free themselves and discover Trask's Master-Mold. They destroy Master-Mold, the Sentinals and Genosha as well, with Adler and Gyrich getting killed in the process but Trask manages to escape. It would end with the return of Cyclops who managed to escape Magneto and inform Prof. X that the First Class are being held captive somewhere in Antarctica called the Savage Land. Uncanny X-Men 2. Prof. X sends his new team along with Cyclops and Banshee to the Savage Land to fight Magneto and rescue the First Class. Upon arrival they discover that their mutant abilities are gone and unlike in Genosha which used collars to neutralize their powers, they are unaware of the source that is inhibiting their powers. They come across a Savage Land native named Ka-Zar who becomes their ally. They ask him for information on where the First Class could possibly be held. He tells them about a volcano that seems unnatural and that it is possible that is where they are being held. On their journey to the volcano they are attacked by a mutant named Sauron who was sent by the high priestess of the god Garokk, Zaladane. He captures Storm because she is the most powerful of the X-Men that he can feed off of to better serve Zaladane and her agenda. The X-Men turn to Ka-Zar and requires his help once again to assist them in rescuing Storm. They defeat Sauron and Zaladane and it turns out that Zaladane was the source of power that inhibited their mutant abilities and with her defeat they are now back to 100%. They arrive at Magneto's volcano lair and find him and him alone, the Brotherhood is nowhere to be found. Magneto is defeated, the First Class is freed and they return home. The movie ends with the old and current X-Men celebrating when suddenly Kitty Pryde goes into a trance and starts to speak of a horrible and bleak future where all mutants are either dead or held captive by the Sentinels who now control the world. They don't know what to make of it then suddenly the tv announces breaking news. Newly elected President Robert Kelly has been assassinated by the Brotherhood which is now lead by Mystique with the absence of Magneto. Prof. X scans Kitty's mind and confirms that it is in fact her future self and she is telling the truth. Enter Days of the Future Past. That's all I got for now. I know it will never happen, but these would be my ideal story lines for the X-Men movies. This is why fans should have input in comic based movies

Cool thread. I would have to say the following;
- A crazy, bad-ass, fun/ultraviolent/dirty Lobo movie with prolly Jason Mamoa being my first choice for him
- A rebooted X-Men film series that (with the exception of First Class which was great) doesn't consistently suck. I'd like in that to do some different villains, particularly I think Proteus would be awesome on film and of course Apocalypse. I would also vow to cast a Wolverine that is actually the correct height, DAMMIT! Having said that though I would possibly hold off on Wolverine until the second film with the first film featuring the original, classic lineup.
- Not a film but I think a Batman TV series on AMC or premium cable would be incredible. Batman's my favorite comic book character and there are so many great villains and entire story arcs to pull from. Maybe do 12 or so episodes a season, do the first season being an adaptation of Batman: Year One with stuff from other early-Batman stories IE Batman and the Mad Monk thrown in for some seed planting and fun, freak of the week type episodes. Then, either do another season and turn The Long Halloween essentially into a season or you could do that as S2 however the nerd in me says that's not comic-accurate. Either way, with Batman being a detective and that aspect of his character rarely translating to film due to the running time, a TV series would allow for one to really get into that side of him plus giving a chance to do ALL of his villains and not have to pick and choose what essentially amounts to three or four every ten years.

I've just finished reading Captain America: No Escape. That has the potential to be an incredible movie. I hope they take certain elements from that story and apply them to the Winter Solider.
Obviously, Batman: Year One. Everything a Batman movie should be.

Gotham Central would make a great TV series and/or movie. I think it would make a better series. I read a short lived series called District X set in the X-Men Universe several years ago that was fantastic as well. It was a similar premise, only the cops (including Bishop) delt with mutants.

Oh yeah, I would love to see Batman: The Long Halloween, even if it's a straight to DVD cartoon movie. I would kill for that.

I'd reboot Supergirl. Since she had so many rewrites I would make her Linda Danvers era Supergirl.

I'd love to see an epic Lord of the Rings style take on the Sandman comics. It would need to be in the right hands, but it could be amazing as the novels are some of the greatest ever.
I also second Preacher. I think that would actually be very doable as it takes a lot of influence from modern pop culture. Just needs a good script and actors who can capture the feel of the characters. On the topic of Garth Ennis, I think an adaptation of The Boys (which I rate as probably the best comic book in the last 10 years) would be absolutely insane. Such a great time to introduce this kind of hard nosed take on superheroes when Hollywood is overspilling with them.
Also, Green Lantern should be redone... as an epic trilogy. That universe is far too unique and fascinating to have been given such a shoddy film.

For DC I would love a Lobo movie or Blue Bettle

Movie- R rated Deadpool and a Magneto stand alone movie are my #1 and 2.
TV- HBO or some cable chanel should do XFactor. I say HBO or the like for the amount of $ needed to do effects properly.
But the private detective agency run by multiple man with people like Polaris, strong guy, wolfsbane, shatterstar etc would do a great combo of action and comedy.
Or a Nightwing show on AMC. Do a flashback montage of him as robin to establish a little background and have it start by him taking off on his home after a disagreement with Bruce.
Batman is never seen in 1 and 2 season. Alfred and Barbara Gordon would be his only connection to Bats. Maybe introduce Tim as Robin season 3.

Well, it’s too late now, but back in 2009, I would have made Fantastic Four part 3…the New Fantastic Four.
Hugh Jackman as Wolverine Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man Nicolas Cage as Ghost Rider Edward Norton as The Hulk
Of course it goes without saying that I’d have the original Fantastic Four cast in the movie as well.

Preacher and Sandman are the two properties I want to see adapted most but Preacher works far better in TV format and Sandman being translated to the screen has disaster written all over it. I'll take Preacher any way I can get it, which I believe we were close to at one point in 2002ish. Marsden could still fill the role too imo.
After that, I'd have to say No Hero by Warren Ellis could be adapted into a fantastic film. I like that it flips perception on the audience. It literally tells you to be prepared in the title but plays against logic in the way the story develops. Really just a fantastic story that can work in a variety of presentations with a plethora of actors.
Also, Y the Last Man. This is a layup for a movie imo. The concept is unique, there is potential for a million hot women in the flick, and it's more than surface deep.
Fly and Return to Wonderland are two books I'd like to see adapted as well. Obviously more niche stories for an adult audience but Raven Gregory did an incredible job developing Calie's world, at least for the first 3 arcs. Fly has that "real world" super power feel to it, which I think people would respond well to with the large array of recent "super" flicks coming out.
And then there is the long list of more common stuff like a Fabian Nicieza style Deadpool film, Kyle Rayner featured in a Circle of Fire adaption, a Grant Morrison style JLA film, the Runaways, Wonder Woman, Batman Hush, Sups Red Sun, the Killing Joke, etc.

Definitely 'CHEW'...no doubt. ![](http://whatculture.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/chew-tv-series.jpg) CHEW is my favorite ongoing comic, but I think it definitely would have a better chance as a television series, rather than a movie. I know the planned series got canned, but they have other things in the works (so I've read), a few animated movies would be the best thing for them, based off of Guillory's art style of course... not sure whether Layman or the aforementioned Guillory said it, but animation would catch the whole vibe of the comic MUCH better than live action. Thanos Rising would make a sick movie! Other Comic movies I want to see: Nightwing Aquaman Masters of the Universe Reboot Walking Dead the Movie. It has to happen!Deadpool Don't count on it... until the series is near an end at least, I think a movie would be the way for it to go out. The only comic book movie I am dying to see happen is ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) ing Deadpool, done RIGHT. I want a Deadpool movie more than anything else.

I think Negan turned out to be a pretty horrible character. They have dragged the ever loving sh*t out of his story arc with very little happening since issue 100 and his one redeeming quality is how much he says ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) . That being said, a Rated-R film is probably the only way to portray him. I actually think if they are going to the one place that they should never go in the comic, that it would be a perfect way to end the show on the big screen. So I agree with AdamBomb in that it's a way to wrap everything up. I think we are pretty far off from that in the timeline of the show, especially since the show has taken on its own timeline of sorts. Did anyone happen to pick up Locke & Key Alpha today? I had no idea it was almost a TV show until they showed pictures of the pilot shoot in the back of the issue. Would have loved to see that happen.

Can't believe no one mentioned Knightfall. But only as an animated movie. 3 parts of it.
