I saw the Mattel Deathstroke today. It LOOKS sharp, but I know the articulation is next-to-none. Plus, if I'm gonna get a Deathstroke figure, I'm gonna go back and get the DCUC one. I like the classic look, and the articulation is much better.

The Mattel AO Deathstroke figure does have alot of POA, but it's all very restricted. Nowhere near as poseable as you would think when looking at the articulation points.

I got my Arkham City 2-packs in the mail!...only to find that the trays that contained Penguin's tophat and Sickle's...sickle are empty (Penguin's cigar seems to be absent, as well, but I can't really tell by looking through the packaging)...hopefully spamS has a solution for this...

Especially if you explain exactly what's wrong/broke/missing Twenty-four hours later, still no response (other than the automated "Thank you for your inquiry!" email)...this is a bummer, 'cuz Penguin was who I was most excited about (missed him the first time around and was planning on posing him next to Grundy). The Mr. Hammer looks excellent and I quite like the brighter red on Harley, anyway.

Awesome setup man! Love all those DC figures. I also liked the SW one with the Black Series in front of the DVDs. I want to do something like this at some point.

Haha, wow...so I finally get an email from spamS this morning, offering to send me a UPS return label via email...I said that'd be all right, as long as I didn't have to print it out, 'cuz mine isn't working, they reply with "Thank you for the update. We will be shipping out a Penguin Umbrella as soon as possible at no additional charge."
...I said I was missing all BUT the umbrella. Hopefully someone with sense sees my message before sending that out...

Finally picked up the Dark Knight Returns Batman Unlimited yesterday. I'd seen it a few times, but never had the cash to afford it. Found one laying in Kmart in my endless search for E25, and decided to make the purchase. Came out to be 12.74 after taxes. It's probably my favorite Batman I own now

I don't collect many toy lines, just WWE Mattel/Hasbros and Simpsons and Magneto (although I did build Nekron from DCUC because I foumd those for $5 each a few months ago). I was at a TRU and saw this Hawkman/Stratos DC Universe vs MOTU sitting on the bottom shelf with no price on it. I took it to a scanner and it came up $5.00 even. Bought two of those (they had 4 all the same). I looked online for info on these, did they come out in 2011? Has amyone else found these recently? Later on I found that butt-head talking bobble head for $4.99 at a bookstore. Not a bad night on the wallet only because I struck out on finding elite 25.

Those and the Supergirl (?) and Green Lantern vs Zodiac (?) have been sitting at my TRU for ages. I think they are still marked with $30-$40 per set.

Amazon has Total Heroes Batman, Supes, Flash and Aquaman up for $11.99. Also, Multiverse Batman and Azrael. Their listing for Mr.Freeze shows a picture of Bane, while the Bane listing has a picture of Deadshot. $10.99.

Hopefully spams gets them in stock soon then. I have all preordered with them minus the TH Aquaman which they never listed as of yet.

On Amazon right now, all of the '66 Batman figures are heavily discounted, as are some of the DC Unlimited/Batman Unlimited figures. And I think they all qualify for the free shipping over 35 bucks, too. Great deals in there for people who missed out on a few.

Received my corrected Sickle/Penguin set Friday morning. My God, Penguin is a beautiful figure. I don't know how much it differs from the single release (if at all), but it's...it's just perfect. A part of me wishes they'd make an Origins version of him, but another part of me is saying "no, then you'll have to buy all of them, even though the game was meh." The latter part is bound to win out.
The Sickle's pretty neat, too. Unfortunately, like Mr. Hammer, his arm is sort of...stiff at the shoulder and I'd rather not break it off and have to glue it back on like Killer Croc's. They make for good display pieces, anyway.

The Penguin in the 2-pack has a lighter color shirt that looks better. For Origins Penguin, I would just use the AC one and remove the eye piece and blood and sand off the piece on his neck.
