Does anyone have any of the Batman classic show Mego style figures? (Referring to these): A comic store near me is clearing some of them out and I'm curious how they look loose if anyone has any. I am pretty sure Hollywood Hogan does. I want to get them, but something always comes up when I think I will be able to start. lol

I was thinking 30 was a bit steep for some of them too...but this store has a few cut down to $15. I was thinking about getting Alfred and maybe Freeze, but I wanted to see if anyone had any loose. I never really got into the MEGO figures, so I'm wondering if they stand and how good they look out on a shelf. What say you Mr. BoneCrunchingCustoms? Have you any information you can shed on this query for me, good sir?

They don't stand the best so I have mine on some Kaiser 8 inch figure stands. They look great loose on display IMO. I don't have them all on display anymore because of space constraints but here is what I do have out (Batgirl is a fix-up because I did not like the original FTC one):

Thanks very much for the tip on the stands and for the updated pic. I remember they did have Alfred and Freeze at the comic shop, I'm thinking about getting them. They do look great in your shot there!

Alfred, Freeze, O'Hara and Egghead are among my favorites in the series so far. The Vincent Price Egghead sculpt is phenomenal. Catwoman figures based on the likenesses of both Julie Newmar and Ertha Kitt are going to be part of upcoming waves, so I'm looking forward to that. Here are the cases you can buy for storage and some of the figures I don't have on display because of a lack of room.

Wow, they thought of everything!
If only Mattel would have given their classic line this much love...

Wow, they thought of everything! If only Mattel would have given their classic line this much love... Absolutely. The FTC line is a bit expensive but there is just something nostalgic and super cool about it. The figures and cases remind me of something I would have found in the storage room under the stairs in my grandpa & grandma's basement from when my dad and uncles were kids. Like when I found Baboon Ball and a huge collection of Atari 2600 and Intelevision games! That said, the quality on the clothing is pretty top notch and is basically all removable and swappable so you can have some fun with that. I really like the episode specific figures. I'd still like to see some random goons and henchmen along with figures based on John Astin (as Riddler), Lee Meriwether (as Catwoman) and Neil Hamilton (as Commissioner Gordon) among other villains. So long as they don't sacrifice quality for quantity.

Ohhhh...a John Astin Riddler! I'd buy that in a heartbeat if they made it. I'm a big Astin fan!

I really do wish I started that FTC Batman line when they first announced it.
I picked up another Multiverse Armored Batman at WalMart yesterday.

I don't think I mentioned this before, but I got the Arkham Knight classic-style Harley in the mail a while back and one thing I had to watch out for is that the little ball things weren't glued down on the back, so I had to chase down the ones that fell off and glue them myself...just an FYI for those who wanted it and intended on opening her.

These finally arrived, I love them if this is any indication of the quality for the actual line, these figures are going to be some of the best 3.75 figures on the market.

I didn't make it back over to the comic shop that was clearing out their classic Batman FTC figures yet, but I did pop into MY LCS looking for some rigid plastic 8x10 holders and lo an behold, they had the Batman and Phantasm animated 2-pack on sale for $22.50 due to the box being partially crushed and a batarang being missing from the set. Sold!
I wanted that set a lot, but I never got around to getting it before now.

I kept passing on Riddler and it finally sold.

I managed to snag a Riddler from Suncoast when they were doing half off clearance figures, so I got him for like 10 bucks. Riddler is a great figure too (not to rub it in though )

I think Two Face is the same but I know Freeze & Joker arent.

For those interested, Walmart started getting in the newest Multiverse line. Saw several of Prison Luthor and Mutant Leader there last night.
