Anyone else kinda ticked that the Superman The Animated Series toyline lacked villain figures? They made Lex Luthor, Bizarro, Darkseid and Metallo. The rest was just between the Multiple Superman's and few slightly different repainted Supergirl figures and the Lois Lane figure. Kenner really dropped the ball when it came to villains with that line

that sucks. That is the one thing I hate about DCD figures. They insist on using the clear brittle plastic on the articulation pins.

I still cant get the elbows on Deadshot to bend either. Are there any other DCD figures I can get that were also in Arrow? Sharapnel, Bronze Tiger, Huntress, Brother Blood, China White?

There's been a Huntress in a Batman line (Hush, if I'm not mistaken). Bronze Tiger, Shrapnel, Blood, and China White are pretty obscure characters though, so I'm not sure any figures have been made of them, aside from DCUC Bronze Tiger. One of these days I'd like to get a DCUC Green Arrow, the version with the hood. I dig Arrow the show, but I don't really need the two-pack. Plus, Deathstroke just isn't "Deathstroke" unless it's Slade Wilson, at least to me The figures do look dope, though. ***EDIT*** There was also a Birds of Prey series that may have had Huntress as well. Also, pretty sure there've been a few Black Canaries from DCUC.

That Deathstroke IS Slade Wilson. I don't know about all that. I can't see it, man. I mean, I know Slade wore that outfit when they got on the boat, but Bill Wintergreen was the guy wearing that the entire time. That fig makes me think of him more than Slade, who I would picture in my head fighting the dude wearing this. Also, on a technicality, I don't think they actually call anyone "Deathstroke" until Amanda Waller refers to Slade. I don't remember anyone on the island saying "Deathstroke is gonna get you if you don't give up hiding."

Bill Wintergreen is dead. In season 1, Slade tells the story to Oliver of he and Wintergreen and how they have the exact same gear and mask. Oliver discovers the mask after he was tortured by Wintergreen and thinks Slade is him.

I remember how Slade tells Oliver they were partners, etc. I guess what I was getting at was the cardback writeup referring to Oliver's deadly enemy on the island, which would have been Bill and not Slade, since Slade wasn't the one torturing him while in the uniform. Speaking of Deathstroke, a buddy of mine posted a video with the Arkham City figure and how he removed the shoulder pads and magnetized them for added poseability and a little different look. I dig it, might have to try it once I get the Origins Deathstroke.

My only guess is that the card back is wrong. I VERY much doubt that DC decided to package Oliver with Billy Wintergreen. In the Arrow comics, which serve as subverse to the show......they always refer to the yellow/black mask as the "deathstroke" mask. I assume we will come to find out that that is where Slade garners that name from or ARGUS uses it b/c of the mask and the Australian army that he and Wintergreen belonged too. Also, its possible since the flashbacks are far from complete......that Oliver and Slade will become enemies on the island and Slade will dawn that particular gear. It may just be foreshadowing what the audience has not seen.

Is Harley Quinn actually going to be in the show or is that just fan service for comic readers? Not really a fan of how the Huntress has been portrayed. There has been any reference to Batman, Bat girl, Or even Gotham. I hope we eventually see Night Wing or someone from the Batman universe.

For right now...consider it a one off shout out. I love how the Huntress has been portrayed. A lot of fanboys went ape crapb/c she wasnt the daughter of Bruce Wayne. But DC has changed the backstory on Helena so many times. Yes, she has been the daughter of Bruce. But she has also been the daughter of a mobster too. She has also been dead and then returned without explanation. There isnt going to be really any reference to Batman, Batgirl, Gotham, etc. DC is VERY protective of Batman. I was shocked to hear the name Ras Al Ghul and hope that just that will help usher in other DC properties. But I dont want these other DC properties hanging around Starling City. This is a Green Arrow show.....dont want Batman there.

Well maybe we can see some more of the DC universe in Flash or Gotham. Hopefully now that they are acknowledging the rest of the universe, Tom Welling will return as Superman for a couple of episodes in one these series.

There has been any reference to Batman, Bat girl, Or even Gotham. I hope we eventually see Night Wing or someone from the Batman universe. Pretty sure it's just fan service, since (unless I'm mistaken) it was Tara Strong doing the voice, and she's been the voice of the Animated version of Harley recently. I would think if she were going to be in the show, they'd have cast an actress and given her the line, setting up for a future plot. Plus, Harley's in the Suicide Squad in the New 52 stuff, so it's probably a nod to that. I gotta agree above though, I was kinda surprised to hear them talking about R'as Al Ghul. I also have to say that's probably the weakest plot point of the series so far, with Merlyn being under R'as somehow, and Moira Queen just being able to pick up a phone and tattle on Merlyn in order to alleviate the leverage he had over her and the Queen family. So anyone with a reason can just get R'as on the phone? Who do you call? Is there a League of Assassins hotline? And furthermore, how would R'as NOT know what Merlyn was up to? All he would've had to do was just remember "hey, this one dude Merlyn left the League…I should check and make sure he's not ruining everything." Hell, let's say that R'as DIDN'T run a worldwide organization of spies, assassins, and ninjas. I'm supposed to buy that he wouldn't be able to just Google "Malcolm Merlyn" and find out he's a prominent businessman and public figure in Starling City? And it took Moira calling him before he decided "Ohh, snap, I guess I better follow up on this Merlyn character leaving the League…" So when Moira says she got in touch with R'as, and Malcolm (out of shock, surprise, and fear) leaves her alone, I have to wonder how he was taken off guard by any of this coming back to bite him in the ass. If he's an outcast from a global organization of trained killers, he probably oughta lay low, rather than become a public figure in a (supposedly) big city. Ahh, well. It's TV, right? I really dig the show, but that was the one major thing that had me shaking my head.

Gotham already has Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle confirmed. Gotham does NOT take place in the same time/universe as Arrow or Flash. Where did you hear Tom Welling was returning as Superman and what series? Is Harley Quinn actually going to be in the show or is that just fan service for comic readers? I really dig the show, but that was the one major thing that had me shaking my head. Yes, it was Tara. But just like they switched the actress who played Sara Lance...they could switch voices even easier. I disagree on Moira having an easy time to alleviate the leverage by Merlyn. Her daughter, who lost her "father" and then her step father was kidnapped and now isnt even technically that and Oliver was presumed dead, only to return, etc.....all of this would just devestate her world. Moira is afraid that this might be the straw that breaks the camels back. She wants to shield her daughter from something that could destroy her. Its not just saying the father you have known your whole life isnt your father. Its not just saying that you and Ollie are only half siblings. But its saying that you had a brother named Tommy that was killed. And its saying your father is actually alive, but presumed dead and tried to destroy the entire city and kill tens of thousands of people. I think Moira is part being a mother to protect her child and part being selfish as not to bring this affair to another level. As far as Moira contacting the League....yeah, I'm with you. How exactly would she just be able to call them up like she was ordering delivery from Dominos? Seems to simplistic. But that is so minor of a plot point. The show is SO GOOD.....that I dont try and examine every little action and tear it apart. Never even thought of this till you mentioned it. You are definitely right. But I was more concentrated on the fact that Merlyn was actually afraid for the first time and excited that the League may show up even more in Starling City. As far as Ra's and his hunt for Merlyn....I would be more willing to accept that Ra's just had more pressing matters. As time goes by....it becomes more out of sight, out of mind. Maybe he did keep tabs on Merlyn and maybe he was waiting for the right time to strike. Or maybe he isnt an internet user and doesnt like to read the paper. Maybe someone in the league kept this info. away from him. Maybe Talia was hooking up with Tommy at one point and didnt want to see Tommy lose his father. Lots of way to explain this more so than Moira calling directory assistance for the League.

DCD/Collectables has made a few of those characters. Huntress has a couple as does Brother Blood (at least 1) but they are nowhere near the same stye as the show and would look odd with them.

Considering I doubt we will see an Arrow line in the near future....something is better than nothing as far as I am concerned. I think the Arkham figures fit well with The Arrow figs. So I am hoping to find more of those. Edit: Correction....Brother Blood CANNOT be in my collection. Thats just TOO far off. LOL! I bow down to your DC knowledge.

Who were the biggest shelfwarmers in the DCUC line? Cyborg variants plagued my Wal-Mart for a long time. And there's still a Samurai at my TRU.
