That's an awesome, Penguin but sorry to hear about your issues. I've never ordered through spam via Amazon that I know of but I have had quite a few issues with Amazon lately, which has been surprising.
I had just ordered the DKR Wonder Woman and Wonder Girl Multiverse figures that make up the Dr. Psycho Build-A-Figure wave because I could get both for under $20 shipped and kinda wanted Dr. Psycho after watching the new Harley Quinn series. Wonder Woman showed up yesterday and her weapon had been ripped out of the packaging. The figure was cheap but I found that unacceptable so I had to do the return thing but the first suggestion was me contacting the manufacturer! For a product that had an accessory stolen. I now have to find the time to ship this item back too, which never used to be the case with something less than $10 like this on Amazon. I remember when they sent me a $40 Zoom in a completely damaged package, they told me to keep it and they would send another. I am guessing too many people abused how generous their customer service was that they are doing this now. This one is still weird with stolen accessory since it was coming directly through Amazon.
Right before the holidays I had a problem with a misrepresented item from a seller. They had a Defining Moments Razor Ramon cheap and just said damaged package. I scooped it up but when it showed up, the championship was gone. When I contacted Amazon, it was same thing. Rather than any make good or partial adjustment, the option was return or nothing. I still got Razor over half the normal price but didn't like that it was mis-represented - especially because after I ordered there was a missing belt one that surfaced from same seller, so I am thinking someone in the warehouse packaged the wrong item.
Back to the original topic, I am looking at some of the Animted Series figures that are still relatively low in price at the moment myself. I cannot believe how high some of them have skyrocketed in price but they look like great figures. I also get tempted by some of the unique characters like Roxy Rocket as I saw her figure recently and had no idea they would have made her.

I had a problem with the Wiz as well recently. I won’t ever be using them again.

The Monroe NY WalMart had a half cube display for the Spin Master Batman Toys yesterday. But all it had was the ugly 12” talking Batman that grabs stuff from his utility belt. The 4” Batmobile and the Swamp Battle 3-Pack.

He looks like a hunched over old man with a cane. lol Is that supposed to be Batman Beyond Bruce under the costume. 😉

Scored an absolute GRAIL from a line I have been chasing for the longest time. This is a DC Comics SUPER HEREOS TOY FAIR PROTOTYPE MOCK-UP OF LEX LUTHOR! The prototype itself is a hand-painted resin. The card was hand made for Toy Fair to showcase this upcoming line from Toybiz in 1990.
This piece differs from the production version considerably. There is no trigger on the back of the figure nor any sort of mechanism in the figure itself, as again -- this is a resin prototype. His right arm has a totally different sculpt as it wasn't apparently originally designed for the figure to hold the briefcase & gun he would eventually come with. The headsculpt itself is miles better than the production version and is a dead ringer for the Lex Luthor that was shown on production card backs.
The card backing made directly for Toy Fair consists of paste-ups (paper on cardboard stock, all hand drawn and created) and is very different from how it ended up being released. The card-back does have some wear and lifting, as to be expected, since this piece is now 30 years old, it's amazing that it has survived all these years... Check out the comparison pictures I have taken. I have put the prototype side by side with the released Lex Luthor. BEYOND incredible to own a GEM like this...I'm so thrilled.

Got the three BAF figs over two Gamestops earlier this week. Love 'em. Just need to find those two armored figs and I'm good with Series 1. Thought I'd share what I've got so far:

DC Direct announced an Essentials Justice League six pack featuring Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash and Green Lantern. More info coming from toy fair this weekend. Think this might be what I need to jump into that line.

I picked up Wally West Flash, Black Lightning, and Starfire from the Ninja Batman BAF series today. I found them at a local toy shop in the Charlotte, NC area. It was the first time I saw them anywhere, so it was a pretty big surprise to find them.

I paid a couple bucks more per figure than normal retail, but I couldn’t pass them up.

Well — least the Arkham Batman looks like it fixed the head size? Still not seeing anything impressive from the line yet. Fingers crossed for something later, or more Essentials news...

The McFarlane Arkham figures look great. Better than Mattel’s and DCD/DCC. Glad to finally see them because I had them preordered on WalMart since Jan 4(?) and speaking of that WalMart order I canceled my Wonder Woman figure from them and preordered her on Amazon.
