Anyone know how the JL:AS figures stack with the B:TAS figs? Got the Armoured Bats on preorder and kinda might want a Supes to go with him. The JL are a little bigger, but still will work especially if your planning on displaying it with the upcoming Batman: The Adventures Continue Armored Batman which looks to be very bulky. I’ll try and take a pic of Supes with a regular Batman in a few minutes. Oooo thanks man! Yeah its slightly bigger but like you said, the new B:TAC line seems to be more based on the B:TNAS/JL:AS so it should work. Thanks again

All of the Dark Nights Metal McFarlane figs are up again for preorder at Walmart's site if anyone's interested. Ordered my set, cost plus free shipping works for me.

Now that the JL figures arrived I rearranged my setup. I'm surprised that DC Collectibles never made a flashback Batman from The Animated Series. Kenner made Retro Batman but DC Collectibles didn't even try

Via the Hollywood Reporter, talking about the Warner Media layoffs:
Also a victim of the layoffs: DC Direct, the company’s in-house merchandise and collectibles manufacturer. The division has been shuttered after 22 years, another move that was rumored when Warner Bros. Consumer Products began taking a more active role in DC merchandising.
A DC spokesperson declined to comment on the changes, which come less than two weeks before the planned Aug. 22 online event DC Fandome, which is set to showcase stars from DC's film, TV and comic book worlds.

I always wish they gave us a regular grey and black version in the BtAS line. I had also wished with the DCD “Mask of the Phantasim” 2-Pack we got a version of him rather than the repeat of the standard BtAS figure. That’s not good news at all. Very depressing. But on a happier note...I am loving this Mafex Hush Batman figure.

Sucks about DCD, selfishly I hope we still get the rest of the year of releases (just preordered the animated Armoured Batman, metallic Holiday Joker and Batman Who Laughs) but who knows

I've seen other attempts at capturing Hush Batman's likeness, but this one is the only one that looks like Jim Lee's artwork to me.

I think the first DCD one did as well. The problem was the awkwardly positioned preposed legs With very limited articulation. But the likeness was there in the sculpt.

Ah man, now the BTAS line will never be completed. Though admittedly it was seeming increasingly hopeless that they were going to do any more true BTAS characters anyway. I really wish DCD would have just focused on making the BTAS line comprehensive over the last few years, instead of constantly diverting into other DCAU shows or "redoing" previously released BTAS figures. I know they would never have covered everyone, but for me the gaps still feel significant. e.g. Rupert Thorne, Red Claw, Hugo Strange, Clock King, Lucius Fox, Leslie Thompkins... for me personally, knowing characters like those and others will be forever missing, I might even just end up selling my BTAS collection it will bug me that much. Plus now I doubt there'll be a second run of Two-Face, Gray Ghost, Scarecrow and Robot Batman either. Which I've been kicking myself for delaying too long in buying. I was just a little short on money around the time they arrived, and also I kept thinking how pretty much every single previous figure (which I had bought as soon as they came out) I'd ended up seeing way cheaper and in plentiful supply many months, or even years later. So I figured there'd be no harm in waiting. But supply of those four never really seemed to become widespread, and now the prices are nuts, and probably will never come down... Sucks that people lost their jobs of course but as a collector I'm still saddened that the BTAS line will now forever remain lacking and mediocre, for many reasons really, not just the incomplete roster.

From what I've read and been told by a few places, it's up in the air for sure but if the item was up for widespread preorder there's a good chance it'll come out. But I get what you mean, the new pieces were more advanced takes as opposed to staying with the classics of the show. It blows my mind we never got a Bruce Wayne! Thing is too, they've REALLY dragged their heels this last 2 or 3 years with the line; like we saw the newest sets 2 years ago in completed form....why the bloody wait?! Definitely killed momentum I think for them. Still hopeful another company might pick it up and run with it, keeping the same scale and style and such.
