The Arkham hot toys look amazing! I got 66 Robin in the mail today. Mine is missing one of the 6 gold pins that go across his belt :/ I really hope Hot toys sends me a new belt or a pin for it.

That was easily a year ago. I wish they'd pull the Marvel dick out of their mouth and spread the love to their other properties.

I emailed Big Bad to see when the Designer Series figures were coming in. Two days later and I haven't heard back.

I was in TRU yesterday and saw they want $17.49 for the 1989 Batman and General Zod. Why is TRU scalping?

I was in TRU yesterday and saw they want $17.49 for the 1989 Batman and General Zod. Why is TRU scalping? Because. They have slowly bought out major toy stores for the past 5 years. Eventually they will buy out everyone, and be the only toy stop in town. Let's be honest, Walmart and Target can only house so many figures in 1 boy's isle. Add that, with those who like instant purchases as opposed to waiting a few days for shipment to arrive.

I canceled my B1gB@d Preorder (except for the 2 maskless Bruce and a Penguin) thinking I would have found Batman and Zod by now. Very frustrating.

Finally heard back from the Toy Store that is neither small nor good, they said that barring any delays, they are expecting to receive the shipments of Designer Series figures in 7-10 days. So I'm taking that to mean they won't even be shipping out to us for another 2 weeks. When I first pre-ordered these, the expected release said April. Now it's gonna be June.

I hope they get them all at once seeing Batman was released a week or two after Nightwing. I have both on preorder.

what is the best DCUC starter figure here is some requirements: Accessories doesn't have to be comic book accurate low price Batman and Green Lantern figures are good starting points to build a DCUC collection. They have been released in many 2packs along with single series, so they shouldnt cost too much. DCUC must-haves IMO are Wave 16 Robin, Capt Marvel, Supergirl in blue, Gentleman Ghost, Hawkman and Joker in black tux, although most of those are expensive on ebay.

Finally, finally found me a Capullo Batman in a brick n mortar comic shop. I had actually given up on that thought , but luckily tere was one last stone left unturned and it did indeed bare fruit. At least on the Bats.....still no Talon. But since i have the other three, i would have no problem ordering him if i had to. Now , onto Batman himself......there is no way i could not recommend this figure to anyone. Whether you collect DCD or still swear by Mattel....either way get this figure. Easily the definitive version of the New 52 era Batman. Id go so far as to say its the modern Jim Lee Batman. There are some quirks with this figure, but nothing bad really. The usual stiff joints, clear plastic etc., however my ony peeve with the figure is that he comes with 3 properly scaled Batarangs, that he cant possibly hold as there are no holes or seperations in his hands to fit any type accessories. I guess i could maybe slide the tips of them into one of Nightwings hands. But still ,its Batman......if he going to come with Batarangs.......let him be able to use one. And thats my only gripe. The figure itself is pretty much flawless ,and even though the elbows/knees were stiff as usual, they were very easy to manipulate into poses with much less effort than, say the Nightwing, who 2 weeks later i finally got elbow funtionality with. So if anyone needs an excuse to buy this figure ,here it is........Its simply one of the best Batman figures i have ever owned from any company.

I would add Batman - series 1 Nightwing - series 3 Classic Aquaman - series 2 Blue Beetle - series 7 Green Arrow - series 9 agreed on those & IMO the "Big 7" in DCUC style are essential IMO. Also Hawkman & Hawkgirl,Sentinel,Jay Garrick,Wildcat & Black Canary are superb too IMO..I doubt DCUC will ever be beaten really.....

Yes besides the ones mentioned the Big 7 along with Hal Jordan (any or all), Hawkman and Wildcat are must haves for the DCUC. And I would add the Green Lantern Universe Kyle Rayner.
Here's a list of the figures I liked enough to keep both loose and MOC.
Batman series 1 Nightwing series 3 Robin - Tim Drake ser 3 & Dick Grayson Green Arrow - series 9 Green Lantern - series ? (worlds Greatest) Wonder Woman - series 4 Aquaman (classic) - series 2 the Flash - Series 7 Superman - Series 6 Blue Beetle - series 6 Hawkman - series 6 Batman Beyond -
