so I was inserting another shelf into my DCUC display today(just behind the main 13 that occupy the front)to help accommodate my soon to be inbound Ice,Rayner GL and West Flash and I was just thinking there will never be a DC collection to top this.
I know JLU beats it for character inclusion but its not the same.
heres how that cavity of the shelving unit is laid out......13 per row
Superman Batman Wonder Woman Green lantern(hal of course) Flash Martian Manhunter Aquaman Black Canary Green Arrow Captain Marvel The Atom Hawkman Nightwing.
2nd row will be
Green Lantern(Kyle) Zatanna Elongated Man Flash(Wally) Captain Atom Guy Gardner Fire Ice Booster Gold Blue Beetle Metamorpho Red Tornado Orion
3rd Row(only 1o due to Rocket Reds size and placement for optimal display)
Red Arrow Question Rocket Red Animal Man Robin Batgirl(CC) Plastic Man Mr Miracle Big Barda GL John Stewart
the other compartments are for the Villiany, Bat villainy, JSA/Titans & Cosmic.

I so have to redo my DCUC/DCSH shelves. I haven't added any of my Matty figure since Black Mask nor any of the Batman Unlimited/DC Unlimited figures. I was lazy this past Christmas and never put the bins with the holiday decorations away. So my shelves are blocked by at least 15 bins and a desk I moved out of my daughter's room.

Finally my Batman and Nightwing figures arrived. And then I preordered a DC Collectables Arkham Origins 4-Pack for $54 of Batman, Joker, Black Mask and Deathstrike. I already have Batman and Joker from this past Christmas but I missed the Black Mask and Deathstroke. So I didn't mind getting doubles when I am getting 4 figures for a little more than the price of two. It's a December release so I guess this will be a Christmas gift also. lol

Just ordered the Total Heroes Black Manta from Matty. Nice.....I'm waiting for TH to release a Joker....then Ill be all over Bats. So now that I have my DCUC villainy shelf sorted out I want to get myself an ace Ras & Talia. After seeing how well Hammer & most of the Arkham stuff fits with DCUC I was thinking the Arkham versions may be the way to go. Frankly the DCUC Ra's leaves me chronically underwhelmed. does anyone know how they scale with DCUC? I'm thinking they are good to go but Ill ask just in case....because the Mattel Arkham stuff is of course bigger than the DCUC stuff.

I think the DC Collectibles Arkham City line is bigger than DCUC as well, but don't quote me on that. There was the Hush version of R'as with an EXCELLENT head sculpt that would probably mix really well, but wouldn't be decked out in his full regalia.

Those are siiiiiiick! I had a similar idea with my left over WWE figures to make random thugs for Batman, Spidey, etc. You pulled it off great!

Those masked heads look great.
JokerFC - the Arkham figures are larger than DCSH/DCUC. I will try and take a pic later.

I know they are comparable to mattels Arkham stuff.....but I also know Mattels AA stuff is bigger than DCUC for some f*cked up reason. Harley, Hammer etc etc etc fit great with Mattels AA(ive seen pics) but I already had my doubts that Ras & Talie would fit with DCUC.

If any of you guys are interested in trading for a complete Metallo BAF, I have all of the pieces. I'm looking for any DCUC/ DC Direct/Marvel Legends that I don't have. I have the 4 figs in the back to sweeten the pot if the fig you want to trade usually goes for more than Metallo.

I found myself in TRU today, hoping to burn a $5 reward certificate. They did a big restock of stuff last week, so there was nothing new today. I'm set on WWE stuff, and am pretty tired of seeing all the shelf-warming Spider-Man stuff. After a lot of wandering, I settled on the Batman Classic TV Series figures. I just started getting a couple recently after finding them in WalMart's clearance aisle. They're a whopping $23 at TRU, though, so I checked Target to see if a price match would be in the cards. To my shock, the Joker was only $6 on Target's site. It was a no-brainer, though I felt kind of weird price-matching AND using a $5 certificate on a $6 figure, so I also grabbed the surf Batman, which was on Target's site at $18. The girl at the counter, who's always been super cool with me, was taken aback by how much of a price difference there was between Target's price for Joker and theirs. "Just to be safe," she called over her supervisor who examined the figure and item on my phone. She concluded that they weren't the same figure, despite them being identical in both the picture and item description. She went off to another computer to find a way to prove they weren't the same figure. As she did that, I pulled up the UPC number on the Target site, handed it to the first girl, and confirmed both shared the same UPC number. She told her supervisor, who then checked herself, before finally conceding "defeat." I was happy to get the deal, since it was both legitimate and these are for my own collection. But it rubbed me the wrong way how determined the supervisor was to not do the price-match. Ultimately, it was a difference of like $15, so it's not like I had enacted some huge con on the place. Add in that I spend thousands of dollars there a year, and the experience was borderline insulting. Anyway, I'm happy to add these two to my growing Batman collection:

Finally got a dremel so I can mess with some customs. Here's my Bruce Wayne, nearly complete. The head is from the Casting Cave, so I had to paint it myself (eyes are a pain in the ass). But I got the head to fit the peg, and I repainted Ricardo's multi-colored tie. Finally, Bruce is in my DCUC collection. The thin DCUC suits are good for Riddler and Question, but that Clark Kent figure was a joke. This body would work great for Clark, Lex, and any other bulkier suit characters. You can see here his height is in scale as well - important, since Bruce SHOULD be the same size as Batman. I like how it turned out.

Bruce looks great, but I would have went with a tie instead of the bow tie

Bruce looks great, but I would have went with a tie instead of the bow tie I still might, actually. I like the look of the tuxedo for Bruce, but right now the bow tie piece comes out. I might make a swap-out tie piece as well.

My Total Heroes Black Manta finally arrived today. But man am I tired of Matty Collector and their inability to follow instructions. For at least the last year and a half every order I have placed with them I have picked and paid for UPS standard (ground) and every time they ignore that and ship it via the cheaper New Logistics shipping. They have never refunded me the extra cost I've paid with each order for UPS which has to be about $15-$20 now. And everytime I contact their customer service they never respond.
