That Keaton Batman is an absolute must Did they (McFarlane) show a Keaton Batman figure today? All I saw was the statues and Batmobile.

I really am hating Amazon right now. There’s no accountability. They have had all of 2000-2023 now to figure out the pandemic yet they still can’t hit their delivery dates. Nine of my last ten orders have failed to be delivered on the date they gave me. Here’s the last five orders.
1 McFarlane Hush Batman Statue originally supposed to arrive Mar 3. But on Mar3 I was told it’s running late and there’s been no update with a new date.
2X McFalane Hush Batman figures went from March 3 to being pushed back until today. They shipped two days ago via UPS and I received a email yesterday saying they would be here today. But now they won’t be delivered today. Instead UPS is saying Monday.
McFarlane Joker figure originally was supposed to arrive March 3. But that was pushed until today. And it shipped on Wednesday and I like above I received an email yesterday saying it would be delivered today. But now I received an email saying tomorrow.
Mattel WM Dusty Rhodes was supposed to be here today. It shipped Tuesday via Amazon but now my tracking says Sunday.
McFarlane Nightfall Catwoman was also supposed to arrive on March 3 but has been pushed until the 17.
And then a tray for my Mother-in-law had to have a hip replacement on a hip she had replaced 20 years ago and she’ll be coming home from the rehab hospital today. And they had suggested a tray for her walker so we ordered one. that shipped out Monday and arrived Wednesday.
I understand and have no problem pushing things back because they didn’t receive it when they expected. But if I am paying for prime and everything I ordered said two day shipping then I should be receiving it within two days of it shipping. Not in three, four or five days. It’s like they just don’t give a d@mn and I am so tired of it. Sorry I had to vent.

I remember seeing it, but then life happened. So, I couldn't respond. Then I couldn't remember which message board I am apart of it was on. And search was no help. To answer your question, Also via Toyguru: Since McFarlane is the owner of his company and sole owner, he gets to decide what is enough profit for his company. He has the privilege to say "I'm good now". But Hasbro is a publicly traded company with investors and stock holders; people who are looking for a return on their investment. So to keep investors happy and to keep attracting investors, they have to keep making profits. And one way to make money is to make it cheaper but charge more. My own rant: These companies (and Toyguru for that matter) keep saying that they are making toys for kids. Even ML, McF. DC, PR LC, etc., are really "for kids", with adult collecting being just "gravy on top". But with the prices going up, and a bunch of studies showing that kids don't play with toys as long as they did... It makes you wonder if the above is just a cover, a story they tell the public? They know there core audience is now older, with disposable income, so they are adjusting prices accordingly. But if they keep going this route, NO ONE will be buying action figures.

They know there core audience is now older, with disposable income, so they are adjusting prices accordingly. But if they keep going this route, NO ONE will be buying action figures. I'm sure kids are still a core piece of business (especially when you factor in girls lines, young kid lines, etc), but at least in the action figure space, I think sales are skewing older than they like to talk about. I don't think it's a "cover story." But as mentioned earlier, these are publicly traded companies that basically have to show infinite growth to shareholders, whether that's realistic or not. The "look how much we grew adult collectors" narrative is much better spin in an earnings report than "we're losing our core kid demographic to technology and we have no clue how to get them back." The price hikes are largely due to the earlier point about having to show constant growth, and then licensing out properties from other publicly traded companies who have the same objective. Disney wants to show record profits, so they hike up the licensing costs. Hasbro also wants to show record profits, so they have to double down to account for both the increased licensing AND increased internal profit targets. The end result is an overpriced product nobody really is really willing to pay that much for. I think we're seeing similar issues with the recent collapse of regional sports networks, and wouldn't be shocked if WWE and AEW into the same when they have to renegotiate their tv contracts. The balloon can only get blown up so big before it eventually pops.

Is that Todd McFarlanes own interpretation of Superboy? He didn't have spikes on his jacket and had an all yellow Superman symbol on the back.

The funny thing is the one that was delayed was the order I placed the day they went live. The one that shipped I ordered about a week later after I had received my set from McFarlane Toys Store. And after I saw how cool it was in hand and I decided besides the one I ordered to keep mib I wanted another one to open so I ordered the third. And that is the one that shipped. lol
