Played around with a Batman display. I tried to keep all the allies on one side, and all the enemies on the other, but space was running thin so I had to make a few decisions. Figured alternate versions of Batman (Jean-Paul, Terry) would be allies (in spite of Jean-Paul technically being a Villain in that costume) and Etrigan fit well enough with the heroes, since he's occasionally an ally when people aren't possessing him with magic and what-not. Superman technically doesn't need to be in there, but I really like the DCSH figure, so I figured why not. The only real glaring omissions that I actually have figures of would be Catwoman, Killer Croc, and Scarecrow. Catwoman, I don't have a DCUC/DCSH styled one, and I really don't like the Arkham City one I have from Mattel. Croc, I only have Mattel's first release, with the long rubber tail and white shirt, not really a great figure. And Scarecrow, I only have the yellow lantern version, so I left him out.

the best Comic Croc out there(IMO) is still the DCD Rogues Gallery Croc. I have him in my DCUC display and he rocks.

I like DC Direct for the bigger characters as well, but they also had that Black Mask with the drill a few years back, which looked really great as well. I considered the Arkham Origins Croc, but to me, the Arkham figures seem to only fit into displays with other Arkham figures. I also have to find my Hush Scarecrow figure, I think he'd fit in well enough. Also, looks like the Hush Poison Ivy is pretty reasonably priced, might be worth a grab.

I saw Superman and Batman Spru kits, $19.99, at TRU. If anyone is wondering what I'm talking about, they are 5" articulated figure models made by Bandai. They might be interesting, but I didn't buy. Maybe later, if I hear good things about their quality.

Latest WIP diorama - Again, for 6"-7" scale figures. I wanna use it in some upcoming X-Men animated episodes I'm gonna do, but for now, it's just a place for figures to hang. Still have to do windows and get some props in there.

Yeah that Croc and Black Mask are two beautifully sculpted figures. It's a shame DCD still uses that cleap clear brittle plastic on their knew and elbow pins.

I've been thinking of picking the Hush Poison Ivy figure up, but not if it's just gonna break. I've had good luck with my DCD/DC Collectibles figures thus far, the only one to break was my DKR Batman, and that was the actual knee hinge, not the plastic pin. In other news, I just saw Batman: Assault on Arkham. It's really cool, especially for people who like the Arkham games. Well worth a watch, and Kevin Conroy (as always) does a great job.

I have that 2-Pack preordered. I have the Nightwing/Superman and Green Arrow/Deathstroke sets. Flash looked good, but the only other ai will get is Green Lantern. yeah my Harley from the Hush line recently fell victim to that!! That sucks, man. Is that out now? Not everywhere, I don't think. One of my friends works in a smaller place that sometimes disregards "do not sell until" dates on their products. In other news, I put a wall on the right side of my latest dio…the idea is, for animating, I can remove one of the side walls to get better camera angles (forgive Deadpool in the Batman thread…he was the only figure I had on hand at that point). When it's all done, I want to make a stop motion fight between Batman and someone else. I'm thinking Deathstroke, since he's formidable at hand-to-hand.

I had my brother in law order Ban-dai's Spru-Kit Arkham City Batman and TDK figures from Amazon the other night. (He has Prime) Anyway I walked into TRU yesterday and saw the MoS and TDK ones in the Mega Blocks aisle. So I picked up the TDK for $20 because I really wanted to build one and check it out. After building it it isn't as nice as the pics from SDCC or on the box. He has thunder thighs. Hopefully the Arkham City figure will be nicer. That should be here soon from Amazon, but I will be returning the other TDK figure to TRU.

PJ, how's the plastic quality on the kit? Do the parts hold together well?

PJ, how's the plastic quality on the kit? Do the parts hold together well? It's like that of a monogram model. They seem to, but I did put little dabs of model glue in the peg holes of the main parts (Head, torso, thighs, calves, forearms) just to make sure they stayed together.

I don't think so. Resolve is only because I don't like most of the designs of the costumes so I just get my favorite characters.. Batman, Nightwing, Hal, and Green Arrow. Normally Aquaman would be there as well, but I don't like his game design at all. Flash is usually a get for me as well, but I didn't want to spend $30 on him. I don't remember but don't think I liked who he was packed with.
