Is there a chance someone could take a picture of the 4" Spin Master movie Penguin next to the Spin Master Bat Cycle 4" Affleck Batman? I hear there's a pretty noticeable size difference between The Batman line and everything else.  Batman Returns!!!!! With Andre The Giant as The Penguin!! |

Batman Returns!!!!! With Andre The Giant as The Penguin!! Wow, major difference! Thanks PJ, it's appreciated as always! This is my nightmare. I'm guessing they made Batman that size to scale with fit inside the vehicles they've made. As I said earlier in the thread I was all ready to just collect 3.75 Batman movie characters of choice but the Batman that fits in the RC '89 Batmobile is significantly smaller than everything else, though I haven't stood him next to this Penguin which I also have. Because of this I went out and got the McFarlane stuff which I don't dislike at all but the Batmobile is so big, I just can't handle having this many giant figures around at this point in life, it gets overwhelming for me personally. I had also purchased some of the DC Multiverse figures ('89 Batman and Unmasked '89 Batman) and neither of them come close to fitting inside the Batmobile. Looking forward to the '89 Spin Master figure and hoping it kind of takes care of this for me but I'm still hoping it scaled well with this Penguin. Whatever it is you're trying to figure out, don't drive yourself crazy like I have. |

It's gonna get down to where I'm gonna have to get both Spin Master and the older Mattel Multiverse figures and keep them as entirely separate collections because I just like what's out there too much. Each line has their perks. From what I've gathered over the past few days is that; Mattel DC Multiverse, Spin Masters' The Batman Movie Line, and Marvel Universe lines are all in scale with each other but are technically 4 inch figures. Everything after Spin Master's "The Batman" line that DC's released is considered "true" 3 3/4 inch toy lines like the Jurassic Park Hammond Collection figures. Every toy company kinda does their own thing with the scale, so it's rough to get a perfect, cross-play compatible collection like I want but I'll take what I can get, it's all fun at the end of the day, despite my tangent, I still haven't gone crazy yet. Haha. In other news, I DID end up ordering that exclusive Theatrical set drgreenevil posted because apparently it's the only way you can get Spin Master's movie Captain Marvel/Shazam, so thanks for that, bud! I appreciate it! Trying to decide now if I order the Amazon Black Adam 5-Pack or get the individual singles releases because I like/want the accessories. 🤔🤔. |

Scale is always crazy to me when it comes to differences between lines/companies. It's like they all want to believe no one collects or will collect anything else but their current product. Worse, they don't consider the difference it would make to collectors if their lines matched up with other lines (theirs and other companies), to their own detriment. Maybe they think that will convince people to buy repeat characters, but, for me, it's more likely to convince me to not even start buying. |

If anyone is still looking for Starfire, Books-A-Million has her up for pre-order. You'll have to search under either DC or McFarlane because the title line only has her name as Starf.

Been keeping an eye on the Spin Master Black Adam 5-Pack off Amazon cause last week it was $18 bucks, yesterday it was $28, today it was $10! So I swooped! Can't complain about it for 5 figures!

 I like these a lot! Getting the Black Adam set tomorrow night. I'm all in on these though. Gonna have to grab the other Amazon Exclusive sets to get Zod and Nam-ek eventually! |

 Opened up the Black Adam set today! I was reading reviews about it before opening and people hyped up the legs being bad/shoddy but really, they're not THAT bad after a little posing around.  Each figure except Black Adam runs a little bit shorter than the Theatrical Set of figures I got, but it's not terribly noticable in person. This picture does make it look pretty obvious though  All my recent additions together & posed. I think they look great this way and I will definitely be adding to this collection as the releases roll out!   Might've said it already, but I'm extra glad I got the Theatrical set after reading it was the only way to get Movie Shazam. I'm pretty stoked to see these two face off like they should've done in live action. |

I got my preorders in for the McFarlane Batman vs Bane Knightfall set and the Tim Drake Robin. Unfortunately Big Bad was limiting them to one each per customer.
