Yup....I have him displayed in the front row(obviously) of my DCUC villiany.....I have the 2003 Joker(which I also love) at the front of my Bat Rogues. on the topic of "leatherface Joker" I despise that look and what they have done with their 1# villain. I mean, there's no coming back from it. They are already showing that his face is rotting away... They could "clone" him or something I guess, but still, I think it was just for shock. I tell ya SB....the Joker is my favourite villain bar NONE....and he probably makes my top 5 characters too. I have rarely passed a figure of him......even stuff like the techno Jokerz from BB line etc. But I was horrified with what they did to him....HORRIFIED. I never had any interest in the DCC figure of this "look" either. I wouldn't support it in any way shape or form.

I'm torn on it, because I like how they made him in the book, but yeah.....the face thing? No coming back from it. I'm sure it'll work itself out like all "dead" DC characters somehow do haha.

Let's not forget that Joker's look is in a comic book. They could always dream up some magical technology that allows him to get his normal face back. I was against it at first too but now I don't mind so much.

Yeah that's about what they are charging for the '66 line. Although some TRU are charging $26 before tax.

I, too, despise the New 52 Joker (and I'm not huge on the New 52 in general, if I'm being honest). But to answer the question, DC Collectibles has made two figures with that look. One was single packed, and one was a repaint in a box set. One has an orange garage jumpsuit, and one has purple I believe. Not sure which is which.
My favorite Joker is the DCUC10 one. If I'm not mistaken, he was also re-released in a Best-Of wave. The black tuxedo one is the Mad Love set, which is also nice (and, for the record, the best Harley Quinn figure in the DCUC line). But I'm a sucker for classic, purple Joker.

Admittedly, I am so behind on Batman, I feel ashamed of myself. But, I don't get the frustration of the new Joker. I personally love it. Yeah, it was a shock at first. I mean, you have a guy that has his face held to his head by a belt. That's perfect for the psychotic Joker. Yeah his face is rotting, which also adds to the craziness. He just doesn't give a f**k.
What I don't like, however, is Grant Morrison's run on Batman. I love Morrison, don't get me wrong( Arkham Asylum ftw).
But I honestly hope he didn't expect for everyone to understand wtf he was writing during the R.I.P storyline. I certainly didn't. It was such a head scratcher that I seriously contemplated why I loved Bats in the first place. And it sucked to have one writer almost ruin that for me.
But what's weird is I loved the initial run he and Quitely did on (Dick Grayson)Batman and (Damian) Robin. But I think a lot of that had to do with Quitely's incredibly intricate art. And when he left the series to just do the covers, my interest in the series declined.
I honestly wish Marvel and DC didn't reboot their respective universes, though. I'm not afraid of change by any means, but a lot of this change doesn't make any sense to me. But to each their own. Those companies know what they're doing a helluva lot more than I do.

I haven't read a comic since a fee months after Hush ended (I had to cut back on something so it was comics) so I have no idea what is happening in the world of comics.

New 52 Batgirl was an awesome read. Aswell as the weekly Batman Eternal comic.
My favorite from the New 52 run has been the Batman series. Court of Owls was a great story arch.

RIP was tough to comprehend, I agree. From that, though, we got some awesome stuff, like the "Batman and Robin" book you mentioned. I read that religiously, as well as the regular Batman and Detective titles with Grayson as Batman. Plus the "What Ever Happened To The Caped Crusader" that Neil Gaiman wrote. I never got the need for a total reboot either. I didn't mind the Ultimate Marvel stuff, since it didn't erase all canon that already existed. But New 52 stuff isn't really for me. And the Joker thing, I still hate it. I mean, DC is trying to convince the readers that Joker couldn't be insane without having his face cut off? Has he not demonstrated enough insanity throughout the prior books? The guy has no idea what his real origin is, he's been depicted anywhere from trickster-clown to psychopath-murderer and anywhere in between, and the context of every other character in the canon seems to imply that they all know he's a complete lunatic. That writing was good enough for Bat-fans for YEARS, but now DC decided it wasn't working for them, so he needed to have his face ripped off. Ah, well...

The guy has such a wonderful mind. I'd love to take a trip to his mind one day. But I'm afraid I'll get lost or go blind by the sheer awesomeness. And I think I'm more of a fan of the visual of Joker with no face than I am the writing. Even tho I loved Death of the Family.

The worst thing about the new 52 is the lack of a complete reboot.....Batman & GL only had partial reboots....and that drives me f*cking insane.

The unmasked is nice, but the masked Batman Beyond is much better.
