Found the NECA NES Batman at FYE. He's only 19.99 there, compared with the 24.99 he goes for at TRU, so if you wanna save a few bucks, check there first.  Pro tip - pop off his head and tighten the cape around the neck area with a needle and thread. That gives the cape a more accurate "draped over" look from the '89 movie, plus looks nicer overall IMO. |

Let me try this again...Didn't you just switch to Arkham from DCUC last year? Yes, I did. I really liked the dcuc figures and I got offered a deal for the Arkham figures I couldn't pass on, but now after having them, I slowly lost interest over time and really started to miss the look of the dcuc figures. Good thing is that the dcuc figures seemed to stay around the same price as they were when I started the collection |

The thing I don't like about this line (Besides the brittle plastic DCD still used on their joint pins) is they are all over st place with them. We have a TNBA Batman yet Robin catwoman and many others are BTAS. |

I see your issues. I dont even pose them take them out and right on their stand. So I avoid any breaking ..before I got in this line I did some research on dc collectibles and just got the basis just display lol. On srlection yeah they are mixing them but we will see all characters in both forms..esp the big names. This way you can have a animated shelf and new adventures shelf. I see them doing this as a way to get both lines out easier. Every week comic stores are getting anew character in. I think two face is next for new sdventures followed by animated joker.

Oh it's Batman I have them preordered. Well Batman, Robin and Croc. How deep I go will depend on how I feel about Batman when in hand. Honestly I am surprised I haven't received a shipping notice yet. I will probably get a notice on Wednesday.

Good thing is that the dcuc figures seemed to stay around the same price as they were when I started the collection I love the Arkham stuff, but I just told my wife that after I receive my four pack (Deathstroke, Black Mask, Joker and Origins Batman) and my Arkham Knight Batman preorders I am going to stop with DC Collectables line and focus on Mattel's 3.75" going forward. |

Well i avoided Total Heroes all year. Mainly because i just couldnt justify trying to display them with DCUC. However, i kind of dug the animated-eque look of the style. So after being on the fence (and packing away most of my DCUC display in favor of DCD/DCC ) i picked up the Bats/Supes/Lex 3 pack at Walmart on clearance for 13.00. Couldnt pass up the price. Anyway after getting some in hand i gotta say I'm pleasantly surprised. Articulation is better than i figured, i absolutely do not miss the ab-crunch at all. And i think they make for a good unofficial animated/comic/evergreen aesthetic in contrast to the DCUC or DCC styles. Now i've got some catching up to do ,especially on all those ultra figures i missed. Ive heard there will be a Wonder Woman down the line, but has there been any announced plans for a Darkseid or Joker ? I certainly think a Deathstroke in this style would be awesome as well. I know the ultra line is dead, but the retail line is continuing.....at least it was hinted that it was continuing anyway. I sure hope so.
