I would think if the Batman series sell well they would. And if they do I hope they add in Aquaman, Flash and GL from their STAS Episodes. I really hope we get BtAS Batman and TNBA Nightwing soon. They showed a proto pic of the BTAS Batman a while back. Not sure when it's coming but I wouldn't imagine it'll be long. A definite pick-up for me. D Is that Batgirl from The New Batman Adventures or the Original Animated Series? Because I can't tell judging by the proto

This wave is 3 BTAS and 1 TNBA.

Personally I'm really excited about the BTAS figures and am planning to get them all, and probably some of the TNBA versions too.
My biggest hope for the line is that it will last long enough to get really, really deep into the roster of characters and different looks of characters, including the movies.
For example I'd never consider my collection complete without a brown/yellow suit Bruce Wayne, "Avatar" outfit Talia, Selina Kyle, Phantasm, and Andrea Beaumont. But realistically I can't imagine we'd get those unless the line really takes off and lasts.
I wasn't a huge fan of the other DC cartoons but I guess I wouldn't mind a few of the main characters from Superman TAS and Batman Beyond.
Another reason I hope this line is really sucessful is because I'd love Hasbro or another decent company to do similar collector figure lines based on X-men The Animated Series and Spider-man The Animated Series, which are also dream figure lines for me.

For those who have repainted the Nintendo game version of the Keaton bats to make him movie accurate,
Are you painting the purple cape as well? Or are you using new fabric altogether?
I just bought it yesterday at work and plan on taking a crack at it this weekend. I work at TRU and am eagerly anticipating the one that comes with the bluray.(if my store doesn't get it, I'm gonna burn down the building Milton-style) I wanna keep that one moc because the yellow toybiz-esque carding is my childhood in a glorious nutshell.
Also, can we blame licensing issues on the fact that we haven't gotten a Nicholson Joker other than the Hot Toys version? What's the hold up?

What's the hold up? apparently game style Bats is as far as Mattel is willing to let NECA into their cash cow(the movie accurate is a one off)....so Id say Jacks Joker is off the table. Mattel said jack was too expensive with his asking price to do him in the 4" line. Which blows.....because without Jack? That line was a bust for me. Was interesting to see Devitos moral stance wear out though......LOL.

Figuarts Batman arrived today. Overall it's a solid figure, but I'm very disappointed by the cape. It's three pieces that snap together, then it plugs into his back. From a back view, there is an ugly overhang because the cape slides under the flaps on his shoulders/upper back. The cape is also made from a hard, almost brittle feeling plastic. Face paint could be better. Alternate head. Cape notwithstanding, It is a sweet figure nonetheless. That head has a Tim Sale-esque likeness

I will definitely get that BtAS Batman.
Joker I will keep my eyes open for it, but as you know my TRU is hit by T0y W1z daily so there is no guarantee I will be able to find it. Especially seeing the employee who always helps me switches to overnight crew during the holiday season.

That animated Batman is awesome looking. I tried to get a Keaton Batman the other day, nothing yet. They ran out, apparently, since they had the sign for the free figure by the blu-rays. The guy helping me said to check back, so I'll keep looking.

I pre-ordered my blue/yellow Mezco DKR Batman a week or so ago. After I find the Keaton Batman, I'll be all done until the BTAS one comes out. I've recently picked up the NES and TNBA figures, so that'll be plenty enough Batman for a short while haha.

The Animated Series line is crushing my soul this week. This was my most hotly anticipated line of the year. After false hope with my Batman being all right and (knocks on wood) my Two Face being all right so far, I have bought two Freeze figures and both snapped straight out of the package. One at the hip and one at the elbow.
I hopped over to Toy News International's site where it is blowing up with stories of the same thing. I handle my figures with the greatest of care. I was literally removing the second freeze from his tray to place his gun in his hand and gently took the arm to twist it around straight and it snapped before even turning the slightest.
I will add one thing to the discussion nobody had mentioned. The entirety of these figures seems to be hard plastic. Very unlike every toy experience I'd had prior, where the torso was hard and the limbs soft. Maybe the friction, and definitely the tightness of the joints, is to blame. I hope they sort this out. Also, from what everyone who has reached out to contact DCC has said is that they have received no response to their e-mails. This includes one of the people on the Toy News International Network who posted the video review of Freeze. This all happened within a time frame on Wednesday this week to where my Comic Shop could report these figures as damaged and I was issued a refund. I debates getting a third Mr. Freeze and trying to loosen the joints with heat first but I figured my $22 could be spent better. Such a shame.

DCD/DCC has been like that since day one. They continue to use a brittle clear plastic on all their pins and stems. I don't even dust their shelves anymore because I am tire of picking up a figure to dust only to find out it to has become a casualty of knee pins breaking under the stress of supporting it's own weight. That is why I am so picky one which DCD figures I purchase now. And it was the main reason I didn't preorder every one of the DCC BtAS/tNBA lines. Because I knew with suck top heavy designs ankles and knees would be snapping left and right.
