So It was confirmed in Ufc tonight that Frankie Edgar and Bj Penn will couch and fight in the next season of ultimate fighter.
Honestly I'm not too excited, I was a big Penn fan but I think it's time to call it quits.

BJ is reaching Ken Shamrock status with me. Back when he kept getting his ass kicked & wouldn't go away.
Go away BJ!

This confuses me. Not sure why BJ is dropping two weight classes. I would have been content with him at 155.

To be honest, I thought myself that when the UFC first introduced their 145lb division, BJ should have been a prime candidate to drop. Could have been the only guy to hold 3 titles in 3 weight classes.
Too late for that though.

BJ Penn might look sickly at 145lbs. Respect for him loving the sport and doing what he must to stay in. However I worry for his health, he is on the decline, has been for a while. Frankie is going embarrass him.

^ I think you're right - at 155, Frankie was too fast and sharp for him... at 145, I don't think it will be much of a contest.

If B.J. loses to Edgar again, then he's truly done.

I hate to admit it, but BJ is spent. He's not The Prodigy anymore, but I would love to see him go out while he is still healthy.
