Hey guys I was wondering what NECA Colonial Marines playability/articulation is like? It looks better than normal NECA toys but I wanted to know if it has more articulation than a standard collectible.

I saw a few of the Hudson 2-Pack at the Totowa NJ TRU yesterday. It was the first time I've seen that set at retail.

In case you guys didn't know, the Kick Ass 2 figures are $9.99 at TRU. My stores still have $21.99 price tags and a couple weeks ago they were scanning at the high price.

My TRU is stocked to the brim with the Dutch/Predator set. I kind of want to buy the more definitive versions of both from the first film, but they seem to be a little scarce on the bay.....and i haven't bought a Neca figure in years. Is the quality pretty good on that 2 pack? Im thinking of getting it and using that as my guide as to whether or not i buy more from this line. My fiancee actually has a few Evil Dead and Freddy figures and the quality varies from figure to figure. The last Neca figures i bought ,were those TMNT figures about 6 years ago. And those were indeed phenomenal. Id really like to get these (and Robocop) but i want to make sure the 30 bucks isnt going to be dropped on fragile or limited posability figures. So ,if anyone has this set, is it a solid buy?

Went on a Neca shopping spree at TRU yesterday. Picked up that Dutch/Predator 2 pack, then knabbed both Aliens vs Marines 2 packs and the Col.Wendix single. Finally, i capped it off with that Prometheus Engineer vs Trilobite set as it was marked down to 5.99 and couldnt pass it up at that price. I was hoping they would have the single Alien Xenomorph or the Red vs Black set, but those were long gone. I also had high hopes for the Terminator wave, as i got a tip that they had them. There was a tag for them, but bare shelves. On a related note, i won an auction for that Thermal Dutch figure. Got a great deal on it too. That thing looks phenomenal. Any of you guys have that one? Im hoping it looks as eye catching in person as it did in the stock photo the seller had up.

In a small update to my Neca findings from yesterday, i can now proudly add the survival version Rambo to my list. Found it at another TRU today,lying on a shelf by itself. Scanned it at the price check.....clearanced out to 5.10. We have a winner! Couldnt believe i found it at such a good price. Also found a Simpsons Mark Hamil but sadly had to pass as i was running out of funds.

That's an awesome deal on the Rambo.
The next figures I want are the Dutch/Predator 2-Pack and the Hudson/Alien 2-Pack. Once I get caught up with my DC and wrestling figures they will be my next purchases.

No love for Godzilla? The 6 inch fig is fantastic if you Can. Find it. Two variants-blue wash and charcoal colors.

I bought Colonel Stars and Stripes a couple of days ago. It's the first NECA figure I've bought since my Hive Wars Predator fell apart after opening it(it had extremely loose legs too and could barely stand). that kinda turned me away from NECA stuff but I couldn't pass on the Colonel. Loved him in the movie and after a couple coupons, I spent a whopping $3.17 for him! That was too good to pass up. It's a great figure that feels sturdy like the Dutch figures.

Ahh the circle of life that is being a collector. I saw the pics for the classic POTA figures and was very excited about those. It sparked my interest in finally seeing Rise of the Planet of the Apes. I had previously not cared to view it ,as i mistakenly thought it was a prequel tied into the 2001 version that i did not care for much. Thankfully, upon learning of my mistake and seeing those new figures coming soon, i viewed the film and was impressed. Now i am looking forward to the new film and the Neca figures from the modern line as well. So i guess i will be buying both classic and new POTA figures for the Neca shelves...lol.....anyone else have an interest in either ,or both, of these lines?

Speaking of the Classic PotA figures B!g B@d has them as a July release so I was wondering if anyone has started seeing them in stores yet? I was hoping these started popping up a little early.

I didn't find a thread on this line, so I figured I'd start one up....
Has anyone else been keeping their eyes on this line? I currently own the Jason and Freddy that are out and I ordered Ash and he will be here tomorrow...these guys are amazing, just like the old Megos from the 70s...they are really detailed, articulated and have real fabric clothes and great accessories. The figues that are coming out include Deadite Ash, Roy as Jason, Ghostface, Jason (Pt. 2), and Leatherface. There is a SDCC exclusive of Super Freddy as well. There are other figures in this line too that I wasn't really interested in (Iron Maiden Eddie has 2 different versions, and the Misfits mascot has a 2-pack, and there's randomly a Rocky figure.
What are your houghs on this line, and do you see it continuing into next year? Will we possibly see a Michael Myers, Pinhead, Chucky, Hannibal Lecter, Regan, Pennywise, Candyman, Jigsaw, Jack Torrence, Norman Bates, or any other horror icons?
