Got all the Kick-Ass NECAS except Colonel! They're so awesome, need to order Colonel. I put the maskless KA head from Series 2 KA on the Series 1 body, looks awesome.

Today, at FYE, I saw Thermal Vision Dutch, Wasp Pred, and a third new Predator (I forget the name).

I picked up the replica Lone Ranger badge at Hot Topic for $7.49. It's not a bad NECA prop replica, it looks just like the one in the movie

Collecting-wise, it's been a NECA-fest recently. I've been playing catch up on old figs, so I got four NOES figs, black trunks Clubber, regular Rocky IV and both versions of Colonel S & S.... and just recently, I got in Hicks, Hudson and both Evil Dead 2 series 1 Ash's. It's costing me a fortune though, as I just had to pay $64 for the original Freddy fig. I also still need to get jungle encounter Dutch and the final battle pack.

I was lucky enough to recently get the Engineer and the Trilobite from Prometheis. I got it at TRU for 15 dollars on clearence. If anyone has this set take a look at it........
I saw something that im not sure about.
.....
Something rather adult.
Is that a penis that comes with the trilobite?

I saw the new Aliens wave today at TRU. I didn't buy any yet, it's been an expensive week.

I saw the new Aliens wave today at TRU. I didn't buy any yet, it's been an expensive week. What is the new wave? Sgt Windrix, 1979 Alien,Aliens warrior. Windrix is a tribute figure. I believe he's the brother of Neca sculptor who is battling cancer.

I've gone a little NECA crazy as of late...tomorrow I should have hooded Colonel Stars and Stripes, foam Betsy Ross, bloody Carrie, and survival Rambo, with wave 1 Rambo and pre-blood Carrie on the way soonish (TRU's taking its sweet time on them). NECA has evolved so much in the past few years, it's nice seeing a collectible company putting out figures with so much detail AND articulation.
I tweeted NECA, asking what the odds were of them releasing a Big Daddy figure, seeing that Mezco dropped the ball and armored Kick-Ass looks SO nice, but they responded with "zero - licensing issues prohibit this figure from happening"
...I blame Hasbro and Ghost Rider for this.

Blah, Colonel's leg fell off at the top knee pin as soon as I opened him. I haven't messed with NECA joints before, but I'd imagine the peg won't come out without a fight.

Just heat it like you would any other figure and it should be soft enough to get it out without much hassle. I got it apart, but the peg snapped when I tried putting it back in this morning, so now he's got a toothpick in its place. I didn't notice 'til last night that my Eisenhowers are slightly different colors. The one that came with my hooded Colonel is a tad darker and looks more realistic. Whether it be a running change or someone goin' a little crazy with the paint at the factory, I dig it. I've no idea what happened to my Survival Rambo. It had a tracking number, but now it doesn't show up on TRU.com. Hopefully it didn't get ruined along the way in a UPS truck, since there are a lot of winter storms going on here at the moment.

Some sad news by way of Toy News International that sculptor Kyle Windrix's brother Craig, the man on whom the Aliens series 2 figure Sargeant Craig Windrex was based upon, lost his battle to stomach cancer. R.I.P. toynewsi.com/news.php?catid=139&itemid=21856

How did I miss these?! I just order them as soon as I saw them. www.actionfigurefury.com/neca-planet-of-the-apes-series-1/Another line I really don't have room for, but this movie was a huge part of my childhood! Hope they show series 2 this week at Toy Fair.I've dreamed of a PotA line like this to replace my old Megos for years.
