I have a couple questions on Custom LJN's. First I love the work! As a collector of LJN's I love seeing modern guys in this style. I have quite a few doubles, and I have thought about the attempt in a custom. I have no idea how people are making bigger hair (your warrior for instance). I assume it's some sort of modeling clay. Is there a certain type that needs to be used on LJN's since they are rubber? Also, can anyone give me an idea on why customs on ebay, and other facebook site are so expensive?
I understand that there is a lot of work going into painting a sculpting, but when I see a common figure, who goes for about $5, just repainted, to look like, lets say, Nwo Hogan, and they want $150+. How do they justify that price mark up? Is sculpting that much? I have read that acrylic paint is the paint of choice for LJN's, and from doing other DYI projects, I know acrylic paint is not that expensive. So where is the mark up coming from?
I by no means want to sound snobby, I'm just new to the customizing scene, and trying to understand the pricing. I have seen some really cool customs, and would like to own them for my collection, I just want to know what I'm paying an extra $145 for. I have seen some places on facebook that will let you mail in your figure, and they will repaint it for $120-$140! Maybe I'm missing something major here, or is it more like the bootleg/generic figures, while they aren't worth much in collecting sense, it may mean more to someones collection.

I hate seeing the destruction of LJN's. We have plenty of modern figures at our disposal, why ruin a piece of history?

I have restored and brought life and value back into the figure. Why did the original owners destroy a piece of history?

I've seen some LJN so bad you couldn't even tell who they were to begin with so if you can take one and turn it into one of these awesome creations more power to ya A+

Been many a time when I've pondered what to make from an extra Hogan. Sin Cara is made from a modified Dynamite Kid, to the one who asked, btw.

Amazing work man. Love Kofi and the Rockers but all are pretty damn impressive.
Anyone who says this is a waste of LJN's is a moron. There are literally thousands of old crappy paint-chipped LJN's floating around that aren't worth anything. By using those old figures to create these one of kind gems is such a good idea. What makes figures valuable isn't the fact that they're old; it's rarity. Since these are all one of kind creations, I'd argue that these are now far more valuable than they ever were.

Love those Rockers. Wish WWE would remake the LJN series. Their reboot was bad.
